West Indies vs India
In the team match I thought that India will perform well in this match and win the match. India lost this match due to the bad performance of the batsmen of the team. The run target that West Indies first put into the field could have been easily exceeded by the Indian team.I did not understand that the batsman of the Indian team, Ishan Kishan, will bat so badly. Ishan Kishan got out with 9 runs in 6 balls. Although the words of the Indian team are good, India lost very badly in batting. It is very sad that India lost the match for 4 runs.
I predicted in another thread that West Indies is a good side in T20Is. They have the ability to beat any team on their day. Pooran and Rovman Powell played well and posted a good total on the board. But, it was chasable for India as well. The winning margin is not too big. They were almost there. So I would say it was bad luck.

Indian opening pair failed to play well. Only Tilak Varma was outstanding with the bat. But it's a hard job for a single batter to win the match. He needed some support from another side as well. But others were maintaining a 100 strike rate only.
The T20 match between West Indies and India has been extremely competitive. But India's loss to West Indies is really ridiculous, I think some of the matches India lose are because of their arrogance. However, if the Indian batsmen were a little more careful, this match could have been secured.
In the first T20 of 5 matches series, the Indian team was badly defeated by the West Indies team. Despite having some good cricketers of IPL they lost the first match. They lost the match by just 4 runs while playing the target of 150 runs. It was not very difficult for the Indian team to score 150 runs but they could not settle on the pitch. The failure of top order Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill could not be recovered by any other player. As a result, India lost to the West Indies team.

If you observe, you can definitely see that the Indian team completely fell apart after Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill got out. Because the opening batsmen did not do the team any favors as they put the team under a lot of pressure by getting out early. Later, only the fall of wickets is seen, those who performed well in the previous matches, came to T20 and performed very poorly. Especially in the ODI matches, the Indian team could do some good things for the team even if they were few in number. But in the T20I match, the Indian team could not meet the West Indies' short run. Because the Indian team failed to win despite trying hard.

The performance of the opening pair is very important in the T20 format. However, it is my belief that the subpar showing of the Indian batsmen cannot be solely attributed to Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill's struggles.. Indian batsmen's performance is erratic as we have been witnessing for a long time. There is no batsman in the squad who is capable of consistently performing well. The performance of every player in the squad has been erratic. And Indian management is not able to solve this problem. They have made several changes in the squad, but their performances have not been consistent. Examining the last two ODI matches, the second encounter showcased a woeful display by the Indian batsmen, while the preceding match witnessed a resounding victory with a margin of 200 runs. Consequently, the Indian batsmen must strive for enhanced consistency in their performances. Batsmen need to be more patient.

India was on 113/4 at one point. It was looking like India was actually going to win the match quite easily in the end. But right at that moment, Hardik Pandya got out. And I have to give credit to the West Indies because they did very well to actually get Sanju Samson out. The throw was really good and I don’t think Sanju Samson actually expected it. He was running like he had already thought that the West Indies player was going to miss. But obviously the West Indies team did very well in this match.

I also agree with @Swordsoffreedom that if India was a little more patient, they could have easily won the match. India lost five wickets trying to get 31 runs. (113-144). The consistency is not there from India.
16th over was the turn of the match. Wickets of Hardik Pandya and Sanju Samson happened, the worse thing it was a maiden over from Jason Holder. Consecutive overs didn't see big score and in the final over 10 runs required to win the match and the team was unable to reach the target resulting in a 4 runs win for West Indies team. Next match scheduled for tomorrow and we can expect better performance coming from India team.

It was a close contest and after losing both openers for 28 runs there is partnership of 39 runs between SKY and Tilak Varma. There were two players from India side that made there debut in yesterday game - Tilak Varma and Mukesh Kumar. Its a good opening game for Tilak as he scored 39 runs on just 22 balls that include 3 sixes. Still 4 more games to be played and India can still make a strong come back.

After having live action of The Ashes now mostly leagues are looking boring even end of MLC and now Global T20 is also heading for the end and LPL and The Hundred is going to have few days actions now I am waiting for the action from top Asian teams in Asia Cup and then after this in World cup this all will be in ODI format.

Right now, we have match between Galle Titans vs Jaffna King where Dunith Wellalage bowl amazing spell of his overs and take 4 wickets after giving 10 runs and restricted Galle Titans for the only 117 runs which is looking easy target in presence of long and solid batting line-up and if Jaffna Kings able to win this match then most chances they could be at the second spot of league table.

I wouldn't say that these leagues are boring. For example, I thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks from Nicholas Pooran during the final of Major League Cricket. And I enjoyed the performances from Sandeep Lamichhane and Ruben Trumpelmann so far in the Global T20. I am yet to watch any of the LPL matches, but I have heard that this time they have maintained good quality. The players seems to be benefitting from these leagues. MLC may become the second most expensive league in the world, and GT20 is also rumored to be paying good amounts to the players.

Too many T20 leagues are ongoing at the same time, and it is quite difficult to keep track of all of them. The Hundred as well as the Lanka Premier League is in the group phase, while the Global T20 has moved to the qualifier/eliminator phase. The last one is interesting to me, because a large number of players from associate nations are taking part. In 20 minutes time, we have the match between Surrey Jaguars and Vancouver Knights. SJ has players such as Sandeep Lamichhane and Bernard Scholtz, while VK has associate representation in the form of Ruben Trumpelmann.

West Indies VS India
The first match of the West Indies vs India T20 series has started today. West Indies won the toss and decided to bat. Already 4 overs have been played without taking any wicket and collected 29 runs. India is the top number one team in T20 ranking. India bowling line and batting line is better than West Indies. India has more chances to win than West Indies in today's match. I think India will win the match today.
West Indies played well early in the game when it looked like they would set a good target to India but they gave away the target of 149 runs.  India too are not playing well today they have lost 3 wickets for 69 runs.  Shubman Gill was a good player but got out for just 3 runs. India need 75 more runs in 9 overs which is not a big challenge.  Collecting this run is possible for any good team so I think India will not fail in this case
Once after the innings of West Indies thought 149 an easy target for India. The end result of the match is really disappointing and completely unexpected. West Indies have won the match by 4 runs and India was able to score 145/9 in 20 overs. The middle order somehow managed to stand wicket, but that hadn't lasted till the end. No solid performance other than Tilak Varma scoring 39 runs from 22 balls. West Indies team needs to be appreciated to defend with such a low score. Hope this series would be a win for West Indies if India continues to play this way and this is the outcome of over confidence.
No one thought that India would lose such an easy match as West Indies set India a target of very few runs. but India could not complete that target. this is ridiculous. a good player like Shubman Gill also played very badly in yesterday's match. India can win very tough matches but they played yesterday's match very carelessly as West Indies were targeted for very less runs but India lost this match. I did not expect such a game
It's really a shame for India to lose. If the target for India was 200 plus, if India lost, there would not have been so much criticism about this team, but not being able to score only 150 runs must be called a disappointing performance for India. No matter how well the young cricketers are playing, senior cricketers must be considered in making a complete team whereas BCCI did not consider any senior cricketers for this series. In the first T20 against the West Indies, with the batting lineup that India arranged for the XI, before the start of the match, I thought for sure that India would win the first match, but India performed like a weak team.

One of the main reasons why the Indian team lost was the fall of wickets. Because the pitch of the game that was played tomorrow was in favor of bowling. Due to which every batsman was out for few runs, among them Roman Powell of West Indies team performed a little better, moreover, a batsman from the two teams could not make a half century. However, in terms of bowling, West Indies team's Jason Holder has bowled very well. Jason Holder fell two wickets with just 19 runs, I think the West Indies team went on to win because of the good bowling performance of the West Indies team as the Indian team was under a lot of pressure.

India may have thought it too easy and are playing carefree. India behaved like Bangladesh in yesterday's match.  Bangladesh is also a good team but they often lose easy matches. It is really surprising that why this happens is it the luck of the opposition or India's misfortune. Although a win is not guaranteed in the game any team can win a match but when a team like India loses such an easy match it is very hard to accept.

Vaccinized.. immunity level is full.
I think it's not good that India lost today. Not good for their morale. Remember this is sort of India backup team which is playing and we are testing our bench strength, not being able to chase a target of meagre 149 obviously isn't something you want. I think bad start in batting really pushed India out of match slowly and slowly, also there was no support from any other batsmen than Tilak.
IMO when you are testing your bench strength and second string team then there is no need to panic. It's 5 T-20 match series so plenty of time to bounce back.

Also, it wasn't a one sided affair but yeah if Windies really dominate this Indian side in the upcoming matches then ofc we can talk about the morale and other stuff.
There is nothing to panic as it is the testing phase. However a team with such strong batting unit unable to reach the target of 149 runs is really disappointing. Though it is a 5 match series, one more win coming from West Indies will keep the India team under added pressure in the rest of the matches. This itself down the performance of the players. India has taken the match playfully and once again they'll learn as the ODI series and at the final matches they'll play very carefully.
You are right but usually, this series with the Team West Indies should be considered as easy one and  India should take it seriously. Let's suppose, India lost the 2nd T20 match also then it will be too much pressure for them to win the last three consecutive T20 matches or else the series loss will be at risk.
Also, if you need to experiment a lot, better do it once you have to grab the series, so you have nothing to lose. Losing the first match of the 5-match T20 series is not a good sign.

Maybe BCCI is experimenting with this squad. Even so, it cannot be said that this Indian squad is inexperienced. At least the players in this Indian squad are more experienced than the West Indies players. Still, they are not playing well against West Indies.

Had West Indies been in good form, I would not have regretted India's defeat. West Indies are in very bad form now, the performance of the players is not regular. Still, India is not winning.

Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill played well in the ODI format, but did not play well in yesterday's match. Indian management has included Tilak Verma in this match. And he was the most inexperienced and young player in the squad. Interestingly, Tilak Verma scored the highest runs of the Indian squad in this match. So it cannot be said that India has lost because it has experimented. The performance of Indian players is very irregular now.

Ishan Kishan got out with 9 runs in 6 balls. Although the words of the Indian team are good, India lost very badly in batting. It is very sad that India lost the match for 4 runs.

Match was really interesting. Both teams were trying well. They were trying to defeat each other. West Indies made 149 runs with lost of 6 wickets. India also tried really well but unfortunately they lost the match. They needed 5 runs to win. West Indies made a lot of pressure on India team. West Indies bowled really well. Romario Shepherd, Jason Holder and Obed McCoy got 2…2…2 wickets. I enjoyed this match by the way.

A bit unfortunate for India as they have very strong batting and West indies is not in the foam. I think India batting has lot of dependance on both openers which failed to score high(no one reach to double figure)  in this match and fall earlier. Tilak varma was the high scorer (39) in hus debut. he is looking so aggressive and this youngsters should be given more opportunities in the next t20 matches.

bowling from both sides was fantastic especially from West indies side as it thier previous matches bowling performance was very poor. aljazzari bowling spell was expensive and need to be improved and other bowled very well. four more t20 matches remains still and india will he looking to win at least 3 to win the series

India failed to chase down the target of just 150 runs against the West Indies in the first T20 match where they were defeated by the West Indies by four runs. The Indian bowlers bowled well to restrict the West Indies batsmen to just 149 runs but the Indian batsmen were not at their best.

Indian batsmen should have won this match as India T20 team against West Indies was made up of best performing players of IPL but still best batsmen of IPL failed to score only 150 runs against West Indies. If there was a senior cricketer in the match that India lost yesterday, maybe the result of this match would not have come in such a situation. Because there was a lot of pressure towards the end which the young cricketers could not take. They lost the first match because they could not take the pressure at the end.
