The performance of Hong Kong team in today's match was quite poor and it seems that the Hong Kong team may not be strong enough to compete against Malaysia and PNG in the Tri-Nation T20I Series. In today's match between Hong Kong and Malaysia Hong Kong won the toss and decide to bowl first which turned out to be a bad decision. Malaysia's batting performance was outstanding as they scored 181 runs in 20 overs while losing 8 wickets. S. Aziz and V. Singh performances were outstanding. S. Aziz scored 64 runs in 34 balls and V. Singh scored 47 runs in 33 balls. On the other hand, V. Singh bowling performance was also excellent as he took 4 wickets in 4 overs. That's why he was awarded the player of the match. Hong Kong could only manage to score 79 runs and whole team out. It seems that we can expect similar performances from the Malaysia team in the next matches as well.

It does not matter if the players playing for these small countries are native or from the other Asian region but I think that all those people have the nationality of that particular country. Is it?
We see the South African team including the white players and not only the black ones. The teams like Ireland and Scotland have Asian players, not only English players. So there is nothing wrong if we see Asian cricketing nationals playing for the national teams of the Gulf region. They have the contract and agreement to play for those countries.

All players in Gulf cricket teams don't have passport of the country they are representing. Gulf countries never give nationality to foreigners. All these players are on work visa. So we can't compare Gulf cricket model with South Africa and Scotland. Now icc is giving more funds to teams from Gulf then to teams with 100% local like Nepal and Thailand.
In that case, ICC needs to be strict as to which players can be included in a national team and which they cannot include. I think only the nationals should be included in the team where they are native or have a permanent visa /Nationality.
If you just start to include other countries' players by offering them high incentives, this may lead to a bad trend. The rich Gulf countries can even hire the best of the best crickets from the Asian regions (India / Pakistan / Bangladesh / Afghanistan) and they have the money to give them better salaries and incentives.
ICC should have a clear vision on this.

The 8th Match of the Gulf T20i Championship between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain was played yesterday. Bahrain won this match by 6 wickets amazing victory. Saudi Arabia after winning the toss decided to bat first but was unable to put a decent total on board. Saudi Arabia all Out in 110 runs in 18.4 overs. Abdul Manan Ali from Saudi Arabia played a brilliant inning of 49 runs in 37 balls while other batters didn't perform well. Bahrain Chase down the small target 114 runs in a loss of 4 wickets in the 19th over. Junaid Aziz score unbeaten 39 runs and imran ali butt also score 39 runs unbeaten and sealed victory for his team. Saudi Arabia batted first and were all out for 110 runs in 18.4 overs. Saudi Arabia's batting performance was very poor, except for Manan Ali and Kashif Abbas, no batting performance was good. Rizwan Butt bowled well, picking up 4 important wickets. If Saudi Arabia could have given 130+ targets then Saudi Arabia could have won the match. A target of just 111 runs is a very low target in T20 format, 111 runs can be easily won in just 120 balls. With a target of 111 runs, Bahrain went into bat and collected 114 runs in 18.5 overs, winning by 6 wickets. Congratulations to the Bahrain team.

Qatar vs Kuwait
Currently the match between Qatar and Kuwait is going on where Kuwait won the toss and fielding first against Qatar. Qatar have managed to score 105 runs for two wickets so far, Qatar batted 17 overs to make 105 runs. Qatar managed to score a good score at the end of 20 overs by batting down. They scored 156 runs for the loss of 3 wickets, and their excellent batting saw them in good form against Kuwait today. But later when Kuwait came to bat everyone tried to put in a good batting performance but they were not able to. Rather they were under a lot of pressure due to the fall of their extra wickets and lost the match handsomely. Kuwait lost against Qatar by 1 run Kuwaiti batsmen batted well from the start but they lost the match as they came under more pressure in that sea. The match was unfortunately lost due to the fall of their two wickets at the last minute, if they could have survived the last two balls it would have been possible to win the match, but unfortunately they lost the match by losing 2 wickets in the last two balls.
