After losing five wickets for 85 runs, India came under immense pressure and could not overcome that pressure, due to which India's innings ended at 145 runs despite the target of 172 runs. England's comeback in the third match after losing two consecutive matches is a positive for England in the five-match T20 series. However, if England can win the last two matches, they will win the series. It is not yet possible to estimate how likely that is for England.

No doubt england two consecutive defeats really degrade thier player confidence but finally in third match they make a comeback and out of no where bring some gree results. To be honest when they have six down on 115, I taught it's another disaster for them but later Livingstone aggressive innings really push them toward defendable target. But more surprising were for me they way indian were losing their wickets in such crucial situation especially thier middle and lower middle order and thus lose a vital match.

I was surprised by this too. It happens rarely in cricket matches. A player of the losing team gets 'player of the match' award if the performance of the player is extraordinary. Varun Chakravarthy has bowled really well in today's match. But some players of England have also performed well in the match. I can't see any strong reason to give the award to him. Anyway, I was thinking that India will win the series easily. Now it looks like the result of the series is going to be opposite.

In the previous two matches, i.e. the first match and the second match, the bowling performance of England's bowlers was not significantly better. Despite trying hard in those two matches, they were unable to bowl well. But they have bowled very well in today's match, so they have been able to win against India in this match. You mentioned that the England cricket team batted first today and they scored a very impressive 171 runs in this match, that was a high score for this match.

In today's match, no India batsman has been able to make the pair well so they have not been able to collect more runs. Although some India batsmen tried to bat well, but that was not possible for them. So the England team was able to win this match very well against India.

It's because cricket is a batter game and it has a set hierarchy.

Best to Average Batsman> Top Seamer > Best to Average Seam All rounder > Spin All rounder >Top Spinner

In white ball cricket, even in SENA tests spinners are the first to get kicked out from the playing XI. Seam all rounder never faces any heat, even average seam all rounders get a game or two but never spinners, unless it's a test match in the subcontinent.

What a turn of events for England! Minimum 200 runs were on cards at one point, then flurry of wickets and even 160 started looking questionable but Livingstone's 3 sixers in Bishnoi's over helped them reach decent target along with contributions from Rashid and Wood.

Harry Brook once again looked hopeless playing spin, it was almost as if he has given up against spinners.
