What the heck is wrong with RCB? It looks like they are about to lose 4 matches on the trot. One interesting thing that I noticed is that MI women are playing like MI men while RCB women are playing like RCB men.
Looks like hiring Mirza didn't really help RCB much. They are over-dependent on their overseas players(Perry, Devine, Knight etc).
LOL.. hiring Sania Mirza was just a publicity move. Did anyone expected a tennis player to have an impact on training cricket players? RCB's problem is that almost all of their Indian players are out of form. Smriti Mandhana once again got out for a cheap score yesterday. Richa Ghosh was a failure, both with the bat and behind the stumps. Renuka Singh is considered as the best Indian pacer, but so far in this season of the WPL she has figures of 108/1. Then the uncapped players like Shreyanka Patil, Kanika Ahuja and Sahana Pawar also failed to make an impact.
To their credit, the overseas players within RCB have performed well so far. Sophie Devine and Ellyse Perry scored runs yesterday, although in the bowling department Megan Schutt and Erin Burns proved to be expensive. RCB has so far lost all 4 of their matches. They have 4 more matches remaining and now they have no chance of qualifying for the playoffs. Their next match is against Delhi Capitals and if they win the remaining matches then they can end this season on a decent note.
I'm sorry but if anyone thought having Sania Mirza coach the women's team of RCB is going to make a difference, that person is certainly a dumbass. Even if it is just physical training, it is not going to be very well training because training for cricket is absolutely different from training for tennis.
RCB is going to play against DC. I am not sure that they are actually going to be able to win that match as well. And let me tell you something, RCB is not going to end this season on a decent note."
Gambhir took the team partnering with Murali Vijay, once these two wickets fell the team had lost consecutive wickets. Finally Asia Lions have won the match by 9 runs. Misbah is awarded Man of the match for his 73 runs. Sohail Tanvir took three important wickets of Uthappa, Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan.
India Maharajas actually played well. But they needed a few more meaningful partnerships. And in the end, it was not good enough finishing power from Indian Maharajas. The lower middle order could not basically do anything. The wickets also fell on our regular interval. That's what was the best thing for Asia Lions.
