Hardik Pandiya was outstanding. 71 runs from 30 balls and still Not Out. Shuryakumar Yadav and Rahul also batted really well. I agree with you guys that Indian Bowlers was too expensive, except for Axar Patel. Axar Patel bowled four overs, and he conceded only 17 runs. 4.20 is a dream economy for T20 bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took four wickets, but he was too expensive as well. If you cannot get wickets, at least you have made some dot balls. That's all you should care about in T20Is.

India was defeated only because of the failure of the bowlers. Hardik Pandya's innings were outstanding. He batted at 236.66 strike rate. With the help of Pandya, India scored a massive 208 runs. But the performance of the Indian bowlers was abysmal. Bhubaneswar Kumar gave away 13 runs per over. Umesh Yadav managed to pick up two wickets though, conceding 27 runs in 2 overs. But Axar Patel's performance was very noteworthy. He takes 3 wickets in 4 overs, and conceded just one boundary. India has to be more aware of the condition of the pitch. And bowlers should be selected accordingly.
I have no question about the batting performance of both the teams because the batsmen of India's first order have performed well as well as the middle order Hardik Pandya has shown his performance. But in the Indian team, there are no bowlers to say except for Patel, whose average Econ runs are below 10 or 11. In this case, the Australian bowlers have given a little better performance. However, due to Cameron Green's extraordinary performance and Matthew Wade's performance towards the last, the Australia team managed to win.

Axar conceded just 17 runs from his 4 overs. And the remaining bowlers conceded a total of 194 runs from their 16 overs. And none of the other bowlers had an economy rate of less than 10 runs per over. And I am gradually losing my trust on Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He doesn't seems to be in good form for quite some time. BTW, does anyone know why Jasprit Bumrah was not in the playing XI? Even Deepak Chahar would have been a better choice. Anyway, I don't think that India will go with the same bowling lineup for the next match.
Over 12 per over from four bowlers at home is surely a big concern for India skipper and management because they can't win with bowling like this even at home then how is possible in Australia where batting is also have no good favor like home, so surely they need to bring some changes, and I am feeling Bhuvneshwar Kumar is bowler of early overs where he can give them break through or good result so if they want to keep him then surely Rohit Sharma needs to use him first 10 overs and here he can give them good economy as well, but surely Deepak Chahar also deserve better chance in series like this where he can learn good for his future which is going to be good for him and India.

Surely few changes going to be coming in next matches because this bowling attack is not going to give them any positive result and Jasprit Bumrah is having fitness issues which are preventing him from this series as management are looking for his availability into World Cup which is more important instead of this series.

Due to the responsible batting of Cameron Green and Mathew Wade, Australia won this match. Despite Australia's top order playing well but the middle order losing a few wickets quickly, Australia almost lost the match. But they won the match due to the weakness of Indian pace bowlers.
Every batsmen of Australia have played well, except Maxwell. The game was in favour of Australia during the whole second innings. Indian bowlers created some pressure on Australia batsmen during the 15th and 16th over only. Australia collected only 9 runs from those two overs. The bowling lineup of India is very poor now. Indian team selectors should have included Jasprit Bumrah in the squad.

I agree with you. India's biggest weakness right now is their bowling. As we have seen in the Asia Cup, Indian batsmen played brilliantly, but due to the weakness of the bowlers, they could not even qualify for the finals. Their main weakness is their pace bowling. Even with a huge target like 208, India lost badly, if the pacers do not play well, India will not be able to win this series.

Bowlers turn to be expensive when there is midfield and drops. Yesterday India could've gained good momentum on the match if the wickets missed weren't happened. First thing a wrong prediction on a wicket, if it was reviewed it could've been a wicket. Later after every drop there used to have a six/four which turned the overs to be expensive.

Cameron Green has been outsourced from Singapore and is known as a power hitter. The pitch was made for the batters and I was very happy to see KL Rahul going after the Australian bowlers. As usual Virat Kohli was again a flop and I am not sure why Rohit and Dravid are still allowing him to play. Let him sit on the bench for a couple of games to make him realize that he is also vulnerable. Bhumrah should have been made to play yesterday's game. Pathetic bowling by India was seen yesterday.

Nope.. that is not Cam Green. It is Tim David who has been outsourced from Singapore. And anyway, David has dual citizenship, as far as I know (unlike the case with Eoin Morgan, who got the British citizenship just before he joined the England squad). And regarding Kohli, IMO he should rather focus on test matches. I guess he is not retiring from T20 format just because of money. Also, he has turned down the advice to play county cricket in England. But for now, bowling (not batting) is the biggest headache for India.

It was a terrific run chase by Australia to win the match. Wade's performance was excellent. A big congratulations goes out to the Australian Men's Cricket Team. The Indian bowling attack needs to be improved. As a death overs bowler, Bhuvaneswar often proves to be a failure with wayward bowling and too many wide balls. The closing woes of Bumrah should be fixed. The match was lost because of missed lbw reviews and catches.

During the Asia Cup, Virat Kohli was a regular performer, but then he struggled against Australia. It will be interesting to see if he has regained his form.
Sometimes I really feel annoyed because we need every time perfect results and performance from players and never feel they are also humans and have issues with health and off the field as well which are having big impact on their performance as well in yesterday game India set a good target which was surely not easy to chase but Australians done good fight and specially good performance from Green and Wade give them win which is nothing special because one team needs to be winner in this game and Australia were better, so they won.

We need to praise both sides as they give good entertaining game with their best performance, but sadly we are still looking for better from Kohli, and we are not happy with Bhuvie even both done good job as we have from others in this game you can't expect 100% from one player in every game because it's never been natural in game specially in cricket.

I was wrong, totally wrong today. The moment i wrote this, both India and Pakistan were in good control of the match and were looking to win the match easily. But unfortunately, Australia and England played well and took the game in their favor. Also, they lose these matches on their home ground,  Karachi and Mohali.

Super Sunday had a sad ending and it will reflect the mood on the working Monday  Sad
It will be too early to reach any conclusions, but England and Australia managed to win in the sub-continent and that should give them a huge boost ahead of the T20 world cup (which is scheduled in less than two months from now). Still, only one match out of the three has been completed so far. There is a good chance that India and Pakistan will be able to make a comeback and win the series. After all, both the Asian teams were dominating the respective matches for much of the time. They lost because of poor bowling during the depth overs.

As a matter of fact, I really believe that when playing in the subcontinent, none of the subcontinental teams should underestimate England and Australia. It is because these teams are always prepared for any type of challenge that may arise.

So, they should not be underestimated regardless of the venue. It is going to be an exciting fight between the best teams in the subcontinent and the most talented teams outside of the subcontinent, and I expect it to be a very close match. But, when it comes to tournaments held in the subcontinent, it is obvious that the teams from the subcontinent, especially those from India and Pakistan, are most likely to have some advantage in these tournaments.

England and Australia were facing some issues in past here in subcontinent but with current situation where mostly players from these both countries are involved in IPL and PSL you can't give predictions like these specially for this format T-20 where you have changes on every ball and any player can change the game like we have in both games Green done amazing performance and change the momentum with Wade even Pandya were also on fire but in vain.

The same happen in Pakistan where Luke Wood and Hales which were no in official squad change then games and win match for their teams here in local conditions where were never been favourable for them even we can expect good fight back, but now entertainment is on top of the game and quality cricket is also coming in next matches.

@pakhitheboss I feel that they’re keeping him around, because the T20 World Cup is coming and they want experienced player’s in the side but post that tournament if he yet underperforms then he’ll be benched for sure.

Agreed. Bhuvi isn't a great death overs bowler
He's an excellent death bowler but in this case, it means death bowler for the Indian team.  Grin Also I would blame the sponsors, before the bilateral series was under the Paytm banner and India hardly lost any bilateral but now they have changed the sponsor lol.

On a serious note, it would be a lot better if they can utilize Bhuvi at the start.

@JSRAW it’s kinda surprising that Rohit is not using him early, despite his failure to be the primary death bowler and if team India wants to improve then they’ll have to take bolder decisions regarding the death bowler slot.

What the heck are you talking about? Both of us are debating about Kohli and the Indian squad which is why I have no idea why you're acting like some sort of referee in between. Improve your brainpower.

Agreed. Bhuvi isn't a great death overs bowler while Kohli needs to play more consistently in order to convince more people that he is back in form.

The mistakes made by the Indian players costed them loss the match. It was Cameroon Green who is the key person for today's win. India could've won this match in a comfortable way, but it didn't happen. So the consecutive loss continues.
Another thing to note is that Cameroon Green was the person whom Indian batsmen hit 3 sixes in 3 last balls of the innings. Still this did not make the emotions down for Cameroon Green and he came back in the 2nd innings and made a quick 61 runs in only 30 balls. This shows the mental strength of the Australian players which was lacking in Indian team.
Indian players were mentally good and were with full pack for the series. Today Indian batsmen performed good. The bowling side isn't upto the mark. Next is the fielding, which is the core reason that made India loss the match.
I think India lost this match on their own merits.  Indian players did not play well in this match.  I thought India's Virat Kohli would play well in this match but he got out for 2 runs off 7 balls.  I think he played a very bad game.  In this match.  But Australia did very well in this match.  They have done both batting and bowling well.

Indian players did not play well without saying that you can specifically say that, the Indian bowlers did not play well in this match. Maybe Virat Kohli could not play well. But KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya managed to set a huge target of 209 with the help of an outstanding inning. Even if Virat Kohli played well, maybe India would not have given such a huge target. So I think the Indian batsmen's performance was very good.
Except for Axar Patel, every Indian bowler bowled badly. In particular, I would like to mention Bhuvneswar Kumar. It was not desirable for a bowler as experienced as him to concede 52 runs in 4 overs. India would have won the match if he had bowled well.
I will blame the bowling for losing this match. Bharat's bowling was so poor that it goes without saying. Yes, we have to admit that no one could have imagined that Bhuvneshwar Kumar would bowl so badly. If Bhuvneshwar Kumar could have done a little better, Bharat might have had a chance to win the match. India ruined the match in terms of bowling.

Just want to confirm ladies ..

Is it me or just for some weird reason Hotstar become freaking smooth for this series. Not facing any lag at all which is very surprising to me and seems like top notch stream.

Yes, suddenly they stopped showing advertisements after the end of every over. They are only showing it when the game stops for drinks or at the end of the session. There is no lagging but I noticed something when you watch the match on TV or Laptop there is a delay of 5 mins but not for mobile devices. I am using the premium subscription I am not sure what is happening with the other subscription.

It was incredible performance from Cameron Green. After an expensive spell in bowling, he almost singlehandedly guided Australia to victory despite the massive target. Hardik Pandya scored runs even more quickly, but he couldn't win the match for his team. And Virat Kohli as usual, got out for a single digit score. I don't know why this guy is in the team, when so many talented youngsters such as Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson are waiting for their chances. And in a match where the average run rate was more than 10 runs per over, Axar had amazing figures of 4-0-17-3.

Cameron Green has been outsourced from Singapore and is known as a power hitter. The pitch was made for the batters and I was very happy to see KL Rahul going after the Australian bowlers.
