Dinesh Karthik and Ashwin will no longer be selected in the T20 squad. I do not have the source as if now but found it out on Twitter. Anyone with the source please post it quoting my reply. I do not think the ODI's in Newzealand matter much as in the T20's. The selectorshave given more emphasis to T20 and not ODI. Such selection clearly indicates BCCI is more optimistic about T20 in the future and not ODI.

Dinesh Karthik and Ashwin should not be given another chance. They got a chance to perform in three matches. But their performance was not good in any match. As India management has more talented and experienced players. So instead of Karthik and Ashwin other players should be given chance. On the other hand, opener KL Rahul collected 22 runs from 34 balls in 3 matches. His performance is also very bad. So it will not be surprising if the Indian management gives chance to another player as Rahul's replacement. A place like the World Cup should not take the risk of giving an out-of-form player a chance. Maybe we will see many changes in India's squad in the match against Bangladesh. Although Bangladesh is not a tough opponent, the internal changes in the squad should be made now if we want to perform well in the upcoming matches.

India's management has plenty of talented players. Even every player in the current Indian squad is talented. And every player has the ability to bring victory to the team. But they failed in the last match. The top order did not play well. I expect good performances from Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Pandya. But they are not performing well regularly. No player is in good form. I think India will become unstoppable only if the players of the current Indian squad return to form. But Rishab Pant should be given a chance. I think he will not disappoint the Indian fans. The performance of Indian bowlers is not weak. Now they should focus more on their batting.

Indian players are incomparable, they are able to take control of any tough match most of the time. However, their poor performance in the last match destroy the gamblers mind. Many in the cricket world are uttering the match has been abandoned strategically. As a reason, many people say that this plan is designed to expose Pakistan to a difficult equation. Even if there are various complaints regarding it but there is no basis for it. The reality is that India lost the match.

Easy win for Australia against Ireland. This was a batting pitch and I thought Ireland could actually get a lot closer to that target. But the problem is they did not have any meaningful partnership at all. Only one player, Tucker, played well for Ireland on the batting side. No one else was able to support him at all in this match. Ultimately, it ended up being an easy win for Australia as they won by 42 runs. This has also improved the net run rate of Australia quite significantly. Aaron Finch with the help of Mitchell Marsh and Marcus Stoinis gave Australia a very good total in the first innings.

I think Australia will take the lead in todays match - Ireland team might not able to win this match
180 is a big score - although they have some good batman but pressure is high and Australia itself wont let the match go off their hand
