In situations like the crypto market is experiencing right now, being discipline is very important. Sometimes people panic and right sell their asset when they see their assets price going down. In times like this its important to hold until prices stabilize.

This is certainly correct, but I still think that it is best to open short positions, which would be able to greatly increase the level of your deposit, I think that in general this is the best solution.
