The way i see it is unless you have at least between 40-100BTC you are never going to make enough profit to change your life and if you have 40-100 bitcoin your life is probably already Trill so for me it's all altcoins and other such things, sure making a couple hundred dollars is nice but in the greater scheme of things what difference does it make in your life? likely not much.

Sometimes you have to think about whether or not even if you know it's going to make you some money what is better for the long term and not just think about the short-term, I see much higher $ gains off uno in the future then i expect to see from bitcoin and that's my speech for the night, lol.

Re: Now it is too cliched.
Kids, I will break it down for you.

1- COINS, they are just units of value for exchange, most valid coins were released between 2009-2013.
2- Dex, platforms for asset tokens. (2.0)
3- Coins 1.1 ... smart contract networks ... ETH is the head of that pack.
4- Social media, democratized, content driven platforms ... data storage, torrents, steem blogs. (3.0)
5- Coins 1.2 ... ANon ... XMR, DASH, and ZEC lead the field ... DASH is shit.
6- Corporate shit master nodes ... DASH is electing to enter, XRP, Lumens, and worst EDR.  100% premine bogus projects.

TALK released in early 2014 aims to be a 1.0 coin that facilitates 2.0 asset launches.  Looking for 3.0 projects too.

i would suggest;
an important project to pay attention too for POS communities!
Behold the future.  POS offer 'common man' mining, now there is not even the need to manage nodes and clients.

This concept will take time to develop, but I will proclaim here and now, it is big and better solution than the anti-asic POW movement Wink

@midnight_miner

TALK is focused on mostly POS coins, so not random.  Trying to make it a hub for stakers.

But also loosely focused on the WHOLE BitcoinTalk community.  So, that means I randomly post none POS related links too.  And sometimes I doNut got the time to even explain some of the more random stuff (just memos to myself of shit I need to follow up on).

HINT, someday I plan on offering a small reward if you can show I quoted you here.

And if you could grab me a beer too, that be very tip worthy Wink

What are you about?

What are the random posts of links to other coins?  Am I missing something?  I don't get it?

Oh wait! my beer is empty, I need to go get another one...

Bye for now.

White Coin swap
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QV9zpGa44YripdaPLN9rrqmYEigfoVg8H57rgI6Whvo/edit
https://explorer.whitecoin.info/swap/

 can the new wallet run right next to the old one on the same p00tr? (is the roaming folder name same?)

Roaming folder is different,

Legacy : %appdata%\Whitecoin\
V2.0.0 : %appdata%\whitecoin-xwc\

Ports are the same so you might change the Legacy Whitecoin.conf to (example)
listen=0
port=15816

Re: sending MAX_MONEY in PPC breaks wallet
not sure if where to post this as i'm not sure it has any effect on BTC Smiley

edited.

I've become aware of a bug which breaks the wallet.dat on PPC (and clones).
It's more likely to effect clones as it involves having a balance exceeding MAX_MONEY.

Basically sending any transaction with combined inputs exceeding MAX_MONEY results in failing various error checks.
and client will refuse to load the wallet.dat

brief list of experiments so far with MAX_MONEY=1000
- sending 10000 breaks wallet
- Setting the txfee to 100, then sending 9900, breaks wallet.
- setting up two inputs of 5001, then sending 5002, breaks wallet.

Interesting!!!

I will need to add that test to my wallet testing.

Thank you for the repost @BitcoinNational I could have missed that.
