So, if you have some time, you can change the German translation topic link in your OP to cygan's translation: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/talkimgcom-bild-hosting-fur-bitcointalk-5477701
I'll lock my current topic and post a redirecion link to cygan's translation: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/neue-seite-zum-hochladen-von-bildern-zum-einbinden-der-bilder-in-unsere-beitrage-5450665

Updated OP, thanks for your work Cygan.  Wink

I would like to take this opportunity to ask the following:
I'm thinking about putting some TalkImg merchandising items on sale. Would you be interested in this idea?

Hello joker_josue!

After presenting TalkImg in our German local board and having my topic linked in your OP as well, I have suggested to cygan recently, that we can switch it because he's already maintaining the translation in our Polish local board. So, cygan is following your updates anyways and it's easier in terms of updates if cygan does our German version as well.
Today, cygan has finished his latest translation.

So, if you have some time, you can change the German translation topic link in your OP to cygan's translation: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/talkimgcom-bild-hosting-fur-bitcointalk-5477701

This November, we had an extra boost given by @Pmalek who created a topic to motivate users to use their image links, allowing a significant increase in images uploaded, compared to the previous month. Once again, I thank you for the support you have given to this project.
Did it really have a significant impact? I was under the impression that not too many users cared a great deal about it, and that not much changed after my thread. But if you say otherwise, I am glad that it had an impact. But it's TryNinja that deserves the thanks for creating a simple copy-paste solution that anyone can work with.

To give you an idea, just the day after you created the topic, +2000 images entered. Where the daily average is 500 or less.
It may have been a coincidence, but something was noticed between the 14th and 15th of November.  Wink

I would like me to add a suggestion, though.
Not many newbies here in the forum are aware they can mess with the size of their pictures using the command width=, for example. It would be great if you added an option for people to pre-set the display size of the image before copy-pasting it here on the forum. It would save some people from posting giant images for no reason.

This functionality is now available. Just go to the embed codes droplist and choose the "BBCode full fix HxW" option.

I'd like to congratulate you for this project of yours. They other day I wanted to attacht some pictures to post and I recalled this service, I have never used it on my phone so I decided to try it in the go.
It was a surprisingly seamless experience and the upload of the content was rather fast.  Wink
Got this web saved as favorite and I will certainly turn it into my main tool when comes to attaching images.

But, if you ask if the servers are in the USA? No, they are not.
It's very good.
Next question - are you collecting logs? How many years logs are stored at servers?

Read the privacy policy to get the answer: https://www.talkimg.com/page/privacy
And if you worry about privacy so much, use VPN.  Wink

It is a completely independent and autonomous service.
Your service was created specifically to serve the forum. How it can be completely independent and autonomous service?

Because I have nothing to do with forum administration. And if you want, I can change the site description, and be the same as any image hosting service: ImgBB, Postimage, ImageShack, etc.

In other words, I do what I want with my hosting service, regardless of what the forum does. If the forum closes, I can go on my way without any problems.

If the hosting servers are outside the jurisdiction of the feds, then the feds will not be able to do anything

I don't know what you mean by not being under the jurisdiction of the feds. But, if you ask if the servers are in the USA? No, they are not.
Although that doesn't mean anything, because my service is exactly the same as other image hosting services. There are zero differences.

I think that if the feds need to trace someone from this forum, there's nothing stopping them from following a link to a picture posted on the forum to any independent third party image hosting service, not just TalkImg.com.

In fact, they won't need to do that, because they can easily make a request to the forum administrator.

I present a new image hosting service, specially designed for BitcoinTalk
From a privacy point of view, this is unsafe. I recommend abstaining from this forum-related image hostings. Use independent 3rd party image hosting not associated with the forum

Your image hosting only enhances the centralization of the forum. If the feds come again, your IP's from that image hosting perhaps will be accidentally leaked

The service was designed especially with the needs of the forum in mind, but it has nothing to do with the forum. It is a completely independent and autonomous service. Furthermore, this type of danger that you speak of occurs in any type of image hosting service. Making this type of observation shows how unaware you are of how image hosting services work.

But, no one is forced to use this service, whoever wants to use it.  Wink

It’s pretty crazy how many images I’m seeing that still don’t load due to the Imgur issue… I thought the forum had a plan in place to do something about it. Are we really expecting every user here to install 3rd party software to correct this issue themselves? Is there any plan for talkimg to work with the forum to move the images over or is it going to be an every man for themselves scenario?

There is currently no plan, although some ideas have already been discussed.
For now, it will be everyone for themselves. If this changes in the future, I will be here to try to do my best.

Thanks.
Tell me something, this only happens after you upload, leave the tab open, and after a few minutes try to upload again. Right?
Just tested it again. Time doesn't matter. If I keep the tab open after uploading an image but closing the browser, It still gives me 2 links.

If you close the browser/website and open it again, will the two links appear again?
In the first image you send, only a link appears. In the second, 2 links appear.

Well, this is probably due to the browser cache, which must be causing this repetition. I don't know if I can do anything, but I'll take a look.

Either way, when this happens again, can you share a screenshot?
Here you go. Hope it helps.
