If this is not a secret, can you tell us how many visits you have in average now per day, week and month?

At the end of the month I will share the stats again, and include that information. I will be happy to share.  Wink

I happened to notice that Reddit (and other companies) use Atlassian Statuspage. He presents a free plan, which may serve the purpose. I'll have to look into it further.
I think this should work just fine for TalkImg website.

I use BetterStack, which is free (up to a limit, more than enough for me) and very easy to set up.
From what I see on their pricing page, only differences compared to paid plans is more checks, more monitors, better support, etc. and that is not very important for Ninjastic or TalkImg website.
I think it's great they are proving free e-mail alerts, and 3 minute checks are more than enough.
I am sure this could easily be connected later with telegram and other platforms with notifications.

Hey thanks for clarifying. I missed a couple of pages of discussion about the site and while uploading an image yesterday I was looking at the "public" settings for the albums of which I've got four.

Sorry if this sounds like a dense question, but can anyone add images to any of my "public" albums?

The album is public, because it allows everyone to see the photos you have inside that album. But for that you had to provide the link to the album.

You can rest assured that no one can put photos in your album. Even I as an admin can't do that.  Wink

I'm thinking that if someone were to claim to be me then proof they are not me could be an inability to post to the albums.
That's what signed messages are for.

A very great project, and definitely will be very useful for the forum. Though the idea of not requiring user registration was good for anonymity, some people (like me) need an account to track images that I have uploaded.

It is possible to have an account on the site, by request.
If you want an account, PM me.  Wink

Thanks for the tip. I believe that for me the free option is enough. I will analyze.  Wink

There is also downdetector.com that monitors many popular websites, that means that third party services can do this work as well.
Maybe someone could create a bot to monitor TalkImg status, but better to do this in cooperation with joker_josue, we don't want his server to think someone is doing ddos attacks.

I think TryNinja has one for his website, I don't know if it was made by him or some third party service.

A very great project, and definitely will be very useful for the forum. Though the idea of not requiring user registration was good for anonymity, some people (like me) need an account to track images that I have uploaded. It's a suggestion but having an option is always good, even if it only for premium user. I design Announcement Thread for various project in this forum and I usually use imgbb since it allows me to create albums so I can put images for each project to each album, and it definitely required user to have an account to track this albums and images.

And I notice that you don't put any ads or any business model to make you earn some money, AFAIK, running image hosting is not cheap, and premium user is one of the ideal business model if you don't want to put ads, some people who earn money making images and hosting the images in your server usually willing to pay for premium account.

I really wish this project to sustain.

Thanks for the service.

I like the service's simple privacy policy, but wen tor link?

The link will be the one that says "Privacy Policy":
Privacy Policy

I'm afraid my attempt at humor may have gone misunderstood.  I was asking about a tor hidden service, with an onion address for those of us that are super paranoid.  Grin

I know that this is more easier said than done, but what do you think about having a status page of the service? Something like this[1], albeit it wouldn't need to be that detailed. That way you could directly update the status there and people could use that url for reference.
I wish reddit was down more nowadays, it's becoming worse everyday Sad

Luckily I haven't had any major problems. Today was the strangest event I've had.
And I hope it doesn't happen again. But of course it can always happen.

I'm easily on the forum, I can be aware of these cases and maintain communication. But maybe this idea is a good one. I will look into the possibilities. Thanks for the tip.  Wink

We are having a problem with the DNS, which I am already checking.
I am doing everything possible to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
I apologize for the trouble.
No problem guys now the site is back to normal and some of the pictures on the forums have reappeared.

I appreciate you for doing a very quick job of fixing this problem. Wink

Hi.. joker_

Is talkimg.com currently under maintenance because I can't access this site some of the images displayed on the forum also don't appear anymore like the example in the OP.

Thanks for the alert! I'm already checking what's going on.
