The goal of technology was for everyone to have easier lives and work less. Well todays generations have it much tougher.  They are working for much lower wages and longer hours.  Its next to impossible for millenials to purchase a house on their own.  Something here itsn't right, Capitalism?

I guess I agree a lot with the OP because I am suffering through the same situation right now. I work in pharmaceutical company as scientist and it is so sorrowful that I work at very less pay scale than what I should be getting for designation as well as for my educational background. I studied the science field for almost 8 years after my graduation and then also my knowledge has no value because things are getting automised now a days and my boss says you dont move the finger so you get what you get. Lolz. His kind of friend of mine but surely he is also at the same thought as mine. Yup, its tough to even pay for the EMI;s very easily.

if you look at the use of technology again, you will find that in terms of meaning the technology is, makes it easier for people to do activities and jobs that make it easier with the help of tools or technology

Not really sure where you living at but if work has something to do with technology, then the pay should be commensurate on your tech skills so its not lower wages, in my opinion. So if you work longer hours then obviously bigger pay.

So its possible that they can purchase a house of their own. I guess every generation has this mind set and not applicable for millennials alone, I myself was a IT graduate and find good job and nice pay and was able to purchase a house myself.

The more technology advancement has the country the easier to live on it unless it is still improving or the economy of its country is fluctuating really fast like here in the Philippines. Where the taxes are high and the cost of living in the urban area are pretty high plus the wages are way below than the average wages around the world.

While it is true that there is a change in the peoples lives brought about by technology but on the on the other side if you can look at the details the work loads get even more difficult because they think that with the use of technology the human capacity to do work is even extended thus bringing everything back to the limitation of the human being and thus works seems to be just the same.  Many of course care less for the work done but for the profit they can earn.

Yes technology helps works easier and faster. But when we talk about the millennial's that they can purchase their own house maybe it depends upon if they would have a good job with a higher wages. Not all millennial's graduated with a higher degree and easily got a job after graduating.

BLOCKCHAIN's advanced technology is social after long-term scarcity, but only if the technology is not backfilled by those who fear they will have nothing before making the appropriate social safety net.

better Days Ahead...

It depends on the part of the world you come from, third world countries are the countries that work for long hours with a lower wage, in the western world country, things are entirely different, and that's more reason why many third world countries struggles to make it into these western countries.
because over there, technology has improved so much.

I think the more developed the technology, the technology will also develop and you must be able to keep up with the times and must be able to work harder, because if you are lazy to learn this technology then you will be far behind.

We need to improve more same as the technology improves too. For me the technology will never stop improving because the people keeps learning new things and this is very helpful to all of us.

Well, for me I guess the word "learn" is not right but the right word for that is study. People study a lot of new things these days from new technology to old technologies. It helps them to pursue other things, to create and invent things that might be a theory in the past and making that theory a reality.

Capitalism isn't the problem but rather the solution for the inability of people to be getting money to buy their own houses in the near future.  If Capitalism one should just find a need in society and meet it. We shouldn't just depend on the government to create jobs for us at all times.

This is not actually the problems with the technology but with the abused employer who used technology to force workers to work more hours like in factories with less compensation this is actually problem of greediness and abuse by the business owners this technology must be use to make work more easier and simpler for workers not for overwork purposes.

Technology is created for a better worlds and better place to be,and to create more convenience to people works with high production and quality otherwise there are times that because of improvement our natures would been afected due to building some infrastracture and other technological system, but in terms of crypto technolgy they only creating a world with a  cashless society.
Yeah, over the years, people have tended to get jobs done in an easier fashion than they used to in the olden days.
If anyone wants to be angry with improvement in technology, maybe they should simply just go back in time and see how things have been done in a tiring fashion. Technology has brought ease, efficiency, more work being completed in a short amount of time and so many benefits.

For instance, looking at how technology has increased from using typewriting machine to using PCs where you can easily store and retrieve old information, or do we want to talk about how even in the health sector, the improvement in technology has made it easy to solve several life threatening issues ?

Technology has done more good to the society than we can even imagine and it is always a welcome development when technology keeps increasing.

Technology definitely ease our everyday life but that does not mean we have to work less. Professionals with good IT skills can benefit more from technology, but on the other side, many jobs can be replaced by automatism meaning several positions might just become needless.

You have a point, even though you work 24/7 you cannot purchase your own house and lot, cars and whatsoever using your salary, you can only achieve that thru the use of some government agencies like pag-big fund. Anf one more thing i havent seen an employee who become millionaire bacause of hard word and dedication. Most of the time employer of the owner is the only one who become rich because of he's or her employee.
On most grounds, labor or workforce has really been one aspect of the economic value that has not been paid so much attention to and people get used in a way that they have placed the value on themselves anyway.

Technology improving everyday would always just make things easier and in a way bring about more productivity.

Although, a lot of people may want to say this will bring about some jobs being lost by certain faction, but in the real sense, the world is advancing every day and I expect that no matter what, every single person in the world regardless of their workplace should always find a way to blend with the trend in technology, otherwise, they just simply get left out.

technology was created to facilitate the activities we do and not let us get trapped and become technology slaves. at present technology plays an important and almost absolute role to be used in many fields so this is an advantage for crypto and blockchain users who are pure technology products

in the future it will happen, all work activities will be carried out by robots. modern technology that drives all industrial machines. but I also ask, if technology will make all activities and jobs easier, then what is human function? how about their needs? while most people work to meet their needs and that is from companies and industries. there may be a solution that all humans will prosper in the future.

That’s a lie, technology makes things to be easier. Take for example, during the times when there was no calculator, making calculations were usually difficult for them especially when it comes to calculating big numbers. But now, with the help of calculators we are able to make quick calculations. So technology makes things easier. If you’re working too much, then you have your boss to blame for that.

I don't think technology is to blame. What is to blame is a staggering amount of people that can do the same job in s certain place. That just depreciates the value of workforce and forces them to accept a menial salary. The bright side is, you can always find other ways to create wealth since there is a surplus in the population.
Well, in that case, you should not be blaming the workforce; you should be blaming the availability of jobs that can serve the workforce. As long as there is always a limited supply of workforce, organizations will always want to bring up incentives to retain staff, it is only in places where the workforce looking for an employment is huge; this would always make the employers not to really care since they know replacing will always be easy in most ways.

This is one of the reasons why smart people tend to find ways in which they can easily be of great value due to the fact that such skill is uncommon. Technology is just here to make things simpler and done more effectively and it will keep advancing. Those who find it as a problem advancing with it will be the ones to get refuted from experiencing the changes and benefiting from it.
