So far Im not really convinced that this ICO will really happen. Durov has stated that its a possibility that Telegram could do this, but its not yet officially announced or anything. So before he does so, I would not count on it. But if he will conduct this ICO, this will likely be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, ICO in history so far. After all Im in love with Telegram, was already in love with it way before I entered crypto and now experienced the whole spectrum of what its capable of. Definitely my favourite massaging app up to date.
Telegram ICO (TON) is already mentioned at ICO Drops, and according to news lines considered to be 2 Billion ICO, 4 times larger than BCCX.
If this is true, it will be well known and will be as successful as other projects, sometimes.
I've heard promises to be the most successful ICO , what do you guys think ? Will participate in project support ?
This is the case when the project has finished running application. And when you consider that this app - Telegram, that would be great. Hype around will abound and coins will be very valuable. Everyone will draw an analogy with Telegram. I think to invest all the money. I want to believe Pavlu Durovu.
if the official news is comming this would be a huge ico. but as long as we don't see anything official hold your horses :-)

Until now there's no official announcement from Telegram. I know techcrunch is also reliable source.

I believe Telegram ICO would be a great success, as there are plenty of telegram users.
So information is about such an event, but it has not yet been confirmed officially anywhere, so there is nothing to hope for until everything is officially released.
Pavel Durov is a very talented man .In Russia, he has created social networks vk/com similar to FB ,the social network still enjoys a huge presence ,with hundreds of millions of people registered in this social network.Then he made telegrams that also enjoys huge success worldwide, not only in Russia .

Are they really creating something revolutionary? Or is this project just riding on the hype of the ICO boom combined with Telegram's branding
If Durov team will integrate cryptocurrency in their messenger, it will definitely be a great success. I think this ICO is good way for Telegram monetization. The General rules will not be violated are: fast, secure and without any advertisement.Im find https://tsrpay.com, and interface of app is the same as Telegram.

Wow this could be the next best thing. The community is so large that they will have a huge hype for the project. This is something we should look forward to . i guess next should FB and twitter introducing their own blockchains
I’m a bit scheptical about the amount they want to raise, it’s huge!! Why do they need that much? Look at ethereum and wat its devs have done with a relatively amount of money. Said that this ico could be a monstre, it could go in top 5 easily
Not a bad whitepaper to get people interested. Definitely potential but could use a bit more technical details.
