Gaston vs Garin (4), is now on play, Gaston already won the first set, 6-4 maybe we can see another upset. If Garin lost, it's only Ruud (3) and Paire (6) are the seeded players remaining. But they are going to face each other later, so only one seeded player are going to make it on the semis. This tournament turns out to be very unpredictable.

Yeah, probably new players have improved a lot, and trying to catch up with the rank players here.

Currently Garin won the second set too easy and is dominating in the third set as well and will probobly win this match and go into the next round.
Next match after this is Djere and i think its a too big odd on him and he will probobly go past Rinderknech pretty easily maybe even in straight sets.

Djokovic is by far the biggest candidate to win the gold medal, it would be an upset if he doesn't win. The field is quite weak with all the big names missing so I doubt it will be interesting to watch tennis during this Olympics...

That's another shocking news to see the number 1 seed in this tournament losing to an unranked player.

It seems though that this tournament is harder to predict specially enter the last 8 going into the semi-finals.

Ruud vs Paire might be an interesting match, could go to 3 sets.

Interesting to see 3 French in the QF, Paire, Gaston, Rinderknech.

@Juggy777 - I know that upsets happen in sports, but the two have been playing high level tennis recently. And seeing 6-0 lost in the first set. It is Dennis Novak though, not Novak Djokovic. And if you have bet on the top seeds, I'm sure you will be pretty much disappointed to their performance too.

Shocking today from Shapovalov that lost to Kopriva who isnt even in the top 200. What a big lost from a top 10 player. If he wants to do big things he cannot lose matches to players that arent in top 200. This players arent even close to the Big 3 in any segment of the game

I had Bergs +3.5, and that is after I switched from Bergs to take a set to more "secure" option. Of course he won a set and did not cover the spread.

Than I had Delbonis -3.5 and he lost first set 6:0 and killed my bet, than I tried Delbonis to win and at least that one went well since I cashed out in time before he lost his match. This is very big surprise for me, I was sure he is going trough.

Ah well, total bust today but yesterday I had a great day so still in the green.

Seems most of the tennis bettors here have been bust by the Delbonis and Bautista-Agut lost.

But I guess it's time to move on again, -5.5 for Ruud vs Novak. However, I'm not that confident that Ruud can cover that spread though. Lots o surprises in this tournament. Ruud though still leads the first set and looking for a break point currently.

It looks like the Novak that TravelMug mentioned is not Novak Djokovic but Denis Novak from Austria, and Djokovic is not playing in this tournament because he is already in Japan to compete in the Olympics.

I lost in three match bets yesterday, two results that were quite surprising were Delbonis vs Gaston and Rinderknech vs B. Agut, can't believe Delbonis can lose to his opponent as well as Agut who even immediately lost in two sets.

Rinderknech is leading in the first set against bautista agut with a really poor performance from bautista i made a bet on bautista to win 2 0 and it looks like that i am going to lose a really big amount of money i hope bautista will recover on this set.

I put a small bet on this match, under 20.5. I think Djere can win this one with scores of 6-4, 6-4.

He is leading the first set, have an early break, 2-1 now he is serving. I do hope though that he can hold serve here, as Bergs is coming back strong.

Edit: Bergs did return and break him, score is 2-2 now, and he is serving.
