^^ That's what I'm talking about Karatsev, lately he has been tearing tournaments and even beating Djokovic. So I can say that he might be not as young as today's highly touted generation of players, he can still play and beat seeded players like Schwartzman who is #5 or #7 is this tournament.

So I wouldn't be surprised if he enters the quarter finals and be the giant killer again.
And then he goes and looses against Bublik, did not watch the match but this is the worst surface for Bublik so I expected Karatsev to do much better. Killed my early double, I had both Karatsev and Thiem to win 2:0.

I have some juicy odd wins last night:

Thanks to Karatsev and Medvedev who didn't allow any upsets on them.

Nice and interesting match, let's see if I can manage to win again with more attractive parlay odds.

Good win for you mate, you are lucky that Karatsev and Medvedev is mentally though, even though they are down 1 set, they manage to comeback easily Karatsev against Schwartzman. Although its noticeably that Diego is now inconsistent, while Karatsev is really showing good tennis in the last couple of months.

Karatsev will be facing Bublik next. Thiem and De Minaur will be fun to watch. Another one is Tsitsipas vs Casper Ruud.

Thiem will play the come back at Madrid to be fit for the French open, I'm curious whether he could recover well after the last low and the injury. I hope he find his way back to his old strength.

https://www.madrid-open.com/en/players/

But I can't find his name on the game board?

i would try to stay away from betting on him to win, at least for now in Madrid, i've seen a lot of player who comeback from an injury or a longtime rest get eliminated on the first rounds, i think avoiding him would be the best, and why not bet on his opponents.
At least he won his first match after coming back from injury, it could be a good sign for him, even more Clay is court which suits him.

his next match would be against another youngster, Alex De minaur, i am guessing he could cause some troubles for thiem, it won't be that easy, he's good fighter in every point, his defense skills are really good, i think he can win a set easily.

Alex De Minaur is a A-ok player, so I think he will give Thiem a good fight here.

But I don't think there will be an upset here, Thiem's favourite is the clay court, so probably he will take this 2 sets. But still a good game in the making. This is a good tournament as more rank players in the men's side are advancing, top seed vs top seed going into the finals.

Hopefully they'll continue in their fine form.  When they face-off in the semis I'm leaning towards Barty over Brady and Sabalenka and probably Sabalenka over Brady.
Two of the names you mentioned advanced to the semifinals and there is a chance they could meet in the finals if they beat their opponents, the women's semifinals:
A. Barty vs Paula Badosa Gibert
A. Sabalenka vs A. Pavlyunchenkova

his next match would be against another youngster, Alex De minaur, i am guessing he could cause some troubles for thiem, it won't be that easy, he's good fighter in every point, his defense skills are really good, i think he can win a set easily.
Based on h2h Thiem lead 3-0, let we see how De Minaur plays so that Thiem can't easily beat him or if possible Minaur wins this match.

Yes great performance by Thiem, against De Minaur will be a bit more of a challenge,
I have a small bet on Thiem to win, i recon it will be close because of Thiem's return
from injury.

My other bet for tomorrow I think will be safe enough, Rublev v Isner, Rublev should
come through this one too, Isner has a good service game so hopefully Rublev can deal with it.

In the women's section the match between A. Barty vs P. Kvitova, Barty is very good at Clay, and she is favored to win this match by bookie.

He win his first match after the injury superior, i hope he can keep his actually shape. Tomorrow it's against Minaur, I don't know this player and there is no real data to be found about him.

Two good matches we have right now:

1. Fokina vs Medvedev - Fokina takes the first set 6-4, but Medvedev trying to avoid an upset here, leading the second 4-3.

2. Schwartzman vs Karatsev - Schwartzman winning the first set easy 6-2, but we all know that Karatsev can come back, so he fought in the second set 6-4 and serving for the 3rd match.

I'm still leaning on Medvedev and Karatsev to win here.

Barty is a sound bet i think.

I have a bet on Rublev ATM against Paul, Just saw Rublev has won, I wasnt expecting
that match to be so close. Was following the live updates on Google and was sweating
a bit in the last set. Happy enough with that.

I also has Sinner, safe enough bet.

I have Shapovalov and Thiem today also, should be safe also if Shapo wins this second set....

Bad luck for you today, Sinner won but his opponent forfeited so probably a push bet (depending on a bookie) and I just sow Shapovalov lost. He simply does not have consistency to grind it out on clay.

My tennis picks passed so far. I had Davidovich Fokina, and he won after 3 tie breaks. Never thought that could end being so close. Now that I am writing it I don't think I have ever seen a clay match to have tie break in every set. My other pick was Sabalenka, I had her as -4.5 handi but then decided to play a safer ML market. Too bad since she destroyed Pegula. Now waiting on BTTS on Champions League game tonight to cash out.

Yea my Sinner bet was voided on sportsbet.io and my Shapo bet came to nothing,
it looked like a very close match, he is just a bit too unpredictable is right.

I dont think i would have been able for Fokina's match with 3 tie breaks, i would be sweating.

I dont have any more bets on for today other than Thiem, that match is delayed.

Unbelievable hitting from Delbonis to come back from being a set down to beating a home player in Carreno Busta. Delbonis wasnt just a set down..he was also down a break in the final set and then, I dont know what happened to him but all he found was corners. Forehand and backhand. Nothing but corners and deep into the court which Carreno Busta, even though he's an elite defensive player, he couldnt handle such consistent hitting. It was 3.75x on Delbonis pre match and congratulations to whoever bet on it.

Yes its a Barty Party!

I was of two minds of putting a bet on that match but I couldnt make my mind
up as to who would take it.

Swiatek's service game wasnt great, she made some great winners and some
not so great misses, but Barty is really strong and very consistent.

The top seed at the WTA Madrid Open A. Barty will play against I. Swiatek. Barty is favored to win by bookie, but the odds are not too different, this proves that it is not an easy thing for Barty to beat Swiatek, after winning the French Open 2020 Swiatek has become one of the young players who are reckoned be stars.

Just watching this now, very interesting to see how Swiatek performs against Barty.

Obviously Iga won the French open last October but Ashley Barty wasnt playing that
open so lets see how close this will be, She just broke Bartys serve 2-0 up now.
Its going to be Barty party! She started off slow as usual but has picked up and favorite to win the match in straight sets now. I was watching Barosa vs Sevastova which in itself deserves to be in the semi-finals if not finals. Very high quality tennis from both the players. Badosa has crowd cheering her and pushing her to the limits. Sevastova has found another gear in her game which has been lacking generally. 2nd set tie breaker going on right now. Anything can happen.

Edit: after 2 tie breaks.. the set score is 1-1
