@Kemarit it was a good game and I’m really happy for Tsitsipas as he has lots of potential within him, and now all he needs to do is focus and build on this victory. Though I’ll agree that this was a small competition but it’ll yet boost his confidence, and hopefully from now on he’ll be able to win more matches consistently.

At this stage of the new tennis season its looking like Medvedev isn't living up to the expectation of him performing well and challenging to be in the top 3 ranked players at the end of the year. I know there is still a long way to go but it seems that he has lost his way after a very successful end to last year. Its always going to be hard for anyone coming back after a long time out of the game and to come up against like you said the runner-up of the AO makes its even more difficult. Like I mention she does have the talent and can break into the top 100 but its going to take time as in the Women's draw there is a lot of great players and all very competitive so for me I can't see her winning any grand slams but she can win a small tournament or two.
