Great moral boosting win for Stefanos Tsitsipas in this tournament. And I"m sure he gain so much confidence in this tournament that we should look forward in 2020 and see him chasing his first Grand slam trophy.

They really played very well, but Stepanos knows how to play under pressure now specially in his match against Roger Federer. Just the way he played on the second set and then closing Thiem in the third, it was an amazing run.

This tournament win should be the start of him to be placed in No.1.
He is so talented and he can do it in the next years. Now that Federer is near retirement and Nadal coming next, he is going to be on the top along with Djokovic.

And the winner of this fantastic tournament is Stefanos Tsitsipas, i did not give much attention to this kid when the tournament started and i wonder what was the odds for Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the tournament, the match was really competitive, the first set went to a tie breaker and Theim won that and the second set was won by Stefanos Tsitsipas easily and i thought Theim will win the final set but it too went to the tie breaker and Stefanos Tsitsipas won the tournament, hats off to him and hopefully his form continues.
Big congrats for Him, this is His ATP Finals debut and can lift the throphy, a very talented young player. Tennis sport next year will be even more competitive because many young players have begun to show good achievements.

What tennis fans wait for next year can the young players win the Grand Slam title, only on female section the Grand Slam title can be won by young players such Naomi Osaka, Bianca Andreescu etc, on male section dominated by the big 3 and some other experienced players who can't be called young anymore like Murray and Wawrinka.

It will be a difficult match to predict, but I'm also biased with Tsitsipas here.

The two in early 2016 (https://twitter.com/atptour/status/1195824318527295488)

Stepanos as hitting partner of Thiem back then, but it just short amount of time, Tsitsipas has improved a lot and now they're fighting for the finals, what a turnaround.

Your boy Tsitsipas has had an amazing tournament so far and I actually think he can go all the way and win this which will be the highlight of he's short career. Federer said that its only a matter of time before we see the young talent up there in the top three rankings and I think that next year we will see a change at the top as the young talent is looking good for the new year.

Hope so mate, you know that I've been on the bandwagon ever since with Stepanos. He also gained respect specially from Federer who he admired. Yes, it's going to be an amazing 2020 that's for sure because this year alone, we've seen them breaking the big 3 and I'm sure Stepanos will one Grand Slam next year. If not him, the other young talents in the tennis circuit today, (Thiem, Medvedev, and Zverev.

Your boy Tsitsipas has won my friend, I hope that you put some money on him to win this tournament as he would of been at good odds to win and would of made up for all the times you bet on him and lost during the year. I was going to put some small money on him but got caught up with a few things and didn't get the chance to put money on him at the start of the tournament which I prefer to do as the odds are most often better for the young talent. This is a huge win in he's career and this will set him up nicely for 2020 where I think he will have a great year, more so on hard courts so look for him to perform well in the Australian Open.

I just put some money on him this finals and I'm glad that he really won this time. Yes, definitely a good and huge win for him because he was already in a brink of a break out run. He just needed to win big and he really went through this tournament like a veteran and beat the best of them. Yeah, hard courts seems to be his specially and Australian Open fits him perfectly well.

@Royse777 - Your boy Thiem also performed above expectations in this tournament. Those two will have a lot of battles ahead. And maybe one of those days he will caught Tsitsipas napping, LOL. But head to head Thiem still has the numbers if I'm not mistaken.

Finally the dramatic tournament ends and we have a young champion in Stefanos Tsitsipas and it is a really fought first and third set and when it came to the match point Stefanos Tsitsipas came out on top and Theim played well throughout the tournament and i thought he will have an edge because of his experience but Stefanos Tsitsipas played an excellent game.

Tournament like this are more interesting where you have groups and from their go for play offs.
One of the best tournament this year with a lot of surprises and i do not have a clue how the final will go as both players played some outstanding match in this tournament and defeated some legends and both are having full confidence going into this final and i am going to watch this match as a fan but i am expecting Thiem to win.

Tsitsipas vs Federer, hard to predict as well, Tsitsipas has been playing good tennis but it's the first time he drop a set here against a losing cause on Nadal. Federer though show us why he is still on top of his game by completely shutting down Dkojovic.

And Tsitsipas won against Federer even just a day ago Federer had one of his best shot against Dkojovic.

I think when we see all hose GS then their we do not have another match to prove the true strength of a player since those are knock out type. A player is playing really good but in a bad day they are out of the league because of poor performance.

Tournament like this are more interesting where you have groups and from their go for play offs.

Thiem vs Zverev, two outstanding young players we have and this tournament is a break through performance. But I might go with Thiem here, because he was well rested.
My man Thiem did not disappoint me this time.

And today we have my man and your man :-P
I am going with Thiem. You with your man?
Right now Thiem is playing very good but I watch Tsitsipas and he is much better then any other as he can do many magics in once lost this match even I am also going with Tsitsipas because I beleive he is truely new generation hero for coming days in Tennis world even its going for very short period. So I'm giving Stefanos Tsitsipas my bet on this one, although h2h Thiem as the advantage, but I'm seeing Stefanos pulling a dramatic win here.

I am with Stefanos Tsitsipas as well.
He is doing great in this tournament, he has won Medvedev, Nadal and now Federer. I think all three are more difficult opponents that Thiem (at least Nadal and Federer for sure). It is time to play one more great game and get the title of ATP tournament.

Simply stunned by some results in London. I feel sorry for those who bet in recent days. Even a well paid algorithm can't help with match predictions. Somehow Thiem left biggest impression on me with his majestic performance vs. Novak. If Austrian can maintain and replicate that level he will win the tournament.
This was one of the most unexpected upsets and results in tennis in a long time, Dominic Thiem and Stefanos Tsitsipas  played some wonderful matches and i did not expect Stefanos defeating Medvedev and then he went on to defeat Zverev and finally Federer to reach the finals and Thiem started off defeating Federer and his game against Djokovic was superb.

Thiem got defeated by Berrettini and Stefanos by Nadal in the group stages but both played some outstanding matches and hopefully some fireworks in the finals too.

I'm expecting a classic match between Stefanos and Dominic in the finals. Both of them elevated their game in this tournaments and defeated the best of there and I'm sure that they will give everything in the finals not just for themselves but for us tennis players. I'm leaning towards Stefanos here though, but I'm not betting because I have lost a decent just in this tournament alone. I would just stay and watch the match unfold and cheer.

I'm sure they will because those two are in their own hot streak so it will be an awesome match unless either one of them really dominate early and then succumb to the pressures. Usually Stefanos Tsitsipas choked on big games, but against Roger is was a  complete opposite.

So I'm giving Stefanos Tsitsipas my bet on this one, although h2h Thiem as the advantage, but I'm seeing Stefanos pulling a dramatic win here.

I am getting surprised on a daily basis in this tournament and it is a good one for all the risk takers as Stefanos Tsitsipas just had a demon in him as he is playing really well and winning the matches and he changed completely in a short period of time and  he might win the tournament and the way in which he defeated Roger Federer blows my mind as i was expecting Federer to win the match.

I am also leaning towards Thiem. Zverev has raised his game recently but he was quite poor this whole season (by his own high standards) and I simply don't believe in him in big matches. Thiem is more of a fighter. If Zverev gets first set Thiem will up his game and try to turn it around. But if Thiem gets first set I wouldn't be surprised if Zverev just breaks and losses easily.

Federer and Tsitipas is really hard to predict. I am thinking Federer has an edge simply on account of his experience. Also it will probably be a bit of shock for Tsitsipas to have supporters rooting for his opponent. I am looking forward to see how he handles that. However, the bookies see Federer as a big favorite so I decided to take Tsitipas to win at least a set. I see more value in that odds. He should be able too put up a good fight.
