They played 3 times so far Djokovic and Shapovalov.
All 3 time Novak was better, so I don't see why this will be any different now.
Nice odds for Shapovalov not to win any set.

As I expected very easy win for Novak Djokovic 6-3, 6-4
and it was great odds I picked that Shapovalov will not win any set.

Who is next for Djokovic Wink ?

I think now Djokovic will finish the year ranked number 1 after winning the Paris Masters. Its been an up and down year for Djokovic so for him to finish ranked number is a huge and will give him a lot of confidence going into the new season and the AO where he always plays well.

Yes.
Probably he will be number one.

Ash Barty has also created some history becoming the first world No.1 to win the WTA Finals series since Serena Williams five years ago and the first Australian since Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1976. Not only that but also the biggest cash prize in tennis history.

It was really that close fight for the number 1 spot.

1. N. Djokovic   9545
2  R. Nadal       9225

That's why it's so bad not seeing Nadal finished this tournament and could come close to Djokovic number 1 position. Interesting to see see Barty will a whopping $4.4 million paycheck? Wow. Glad that an Australian will end as the number 1 female this year. Grin

As I have expected it, there is no upset here as Djokovic shows why he is still the number 1 tennis player. He really put the pressure on Shapovalov on the first set alone, and Shapovalov was a beat nervous here and the serve of Djokovic is near perfect. I think Djokovic will end up the year as the number 1 player again.

Next will be the Nitto ATP Finals in London.

I expected no upset in this match also but I am a bit curprised that Djokovic did not give any set for Shapovalov. What a superb plays displayed by Djokovic. I think he will regain the world's number one spot if he wins the next major tournaments.

Nice odds for Shapovalov not to win any set.
I missed betting for this match as i know very well that Novak Djokovic will be winning the match easily and he just did that, what was the odds available for Shapovalov not to win any set. I wanted to see the final with Nadal but he was forced to pull out because of injury and Djokovic took home his fifth Paris Masters title and did not loose a set in this tournament.

I know it will sound strange but I see this match as the one for Shapovalov to lose or win. We know what to expect from Djoko he will be solid as always and it is always very hard to get points against him but Shapovalov has the power and ability to breach that defense. Only question is how long he can keep it up. I have played handicap of 5.5 on Shapovalov. I expect him to start the match well and maybe even take the first set. Djoko will then claw his way back as usual and enter in his opponent head and push him out of comfort zone which will result in more and more unforced errors from Shapovalov side.

Djokovic vs Shapovalov, there will be many who predict that Djokovic will win this match easily, seeing the stats of the shapovalov against Djokovic, Shapovalov never yet beaten Djokovic and all happen this years.

I see that odds for Novak Djokovic to win are very low, as it could be expected.
Maybe some asian handicap or special bet with correct score 2:0 would be better in this situation.

Tsitsipas doesn’t needs to be upset because he lost the match to a legend, I hope he’ll learn from this loss and improve on his game. @Strongkored if Nadal and Djokovic meet in the finals then the match won’t just be for the cup, but also a battle to finish on the top of the rankings for this year.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is a really young player and he will take this as a learning experience and come back stronger. Nadal withdrew from the match and Denis Shapovalov is in the final to face Djokovic and this will be another title achievement for Novak Djokovic as he was dominating ever player and winning easily in straight sets and if you look at the record between the two i am expecting another domination from the world number 1.

I hope you had a doubt because if the injury scare Nadal is going through and now he is forced to withdraw in the semi final because of injury, his body has take a toll and he needs to have proper rest and rehabilitation before returning as the body will not perform like he once did in his younger days and the recover will take time as age moves
Yeah, injuries that often happen to him, even though he can get in place of Djokovic in first seed if able to get a champion in this tournament.

WTA Finals in Final Rounds Barty vs Svitolina, could Svitolina be able to preserve a tittle in this tournament.

Usually in this kind of stage, top players like Djokovic elevated their game even higher, and as of the latest only D. Medvedev was able to win a couple of tournaments while the rest of the young players are still making a catch to the big 3. So yes, this could be another trophy for Djokovic and Shapovalov gaining experience for a losing cause.

I did not expect so even game... and this was not easy win for Novak Djokovic as you may think.
He is mentally very strong, and he broke opponent just in final moments in first set, and he was losing.
Well done Novak

Surprised to read that Nadal has re-injured his abdominal muscle again. Maybe age is showing already on this veteran players that's why unexpected or recurring injury happen to their body.

I think this is going to be an easy match for Djokovic, not downplaying Shapovalov here, but Djokovic is playing very well in this tournament so I wouldn't be surprised by a 2 set win for him, so I'm not setting any upset here, unless Djokovic got injured too.

I don't think Nadal will win the match in two sets, but the results show that Nadal superior and playing well.

So it's going to be Djokovic vs Shapovalov in the finals. I agree with @vella85 here, this year was great for him, but I'm looking at 2020 to be more exciting for this my boy here.  Grin
Anyone expecting an upset, the odds are really good and i am not sure how to have a closed eye on the performance of Djokovic as he was playing his best tennis in a long time and Shapovalov needs to come up with a game plan to defeat the king.

Nadal is out of the competition because of injury and now Novak Djokovic will be facing Denis Shapovalov in the final and i am expecting Djokovic to win another title and continue his total domination this year, anyone expecting an upset here if so i would like to hear from you tennis fans, i was not expecting Denis Shapovalov to be in the final but he played some good games as i thought Zverev could be in the final facing Nadal or Djokovic.

In a twist of event, Rafael Nadal conceded the match against Shapovalov as Nadal withdraw because of abominal injury.

No upset, my boy Tsitsipas didn't have answer against a superior Djokovic. Shapovalov beat Monfils, and Nadal won against Tsonga to set up a semi-finals match. The other semis are going to be Djokovic vs Dimtirov.

That's what often happen with young players, other than because they are still inexperience often they play unexpectedly, making their fans amazed by his played but it can happen otherwise.
Without disparaging Dimitrov and Shapavalov I think the ideal final that tennis fans await is Djokovic vs Nadal. I am not a fan of Nadal but I admit that he is one of the best players in the open era besides Federer in the men's section.

From WTA Final, Today Semifinal Rounds

Bencic vs Svitolina and Barty vs Pliskova, women's section more difficult to predict.

This year has been a good experience for Tsitsipas as he has played a lot of the top players and not just once but a few times and with every match he has against them he will become a lot better. Next year we could see him challenge for the top 5.

Yeah its going to be a exciting end to the year to see who finishes ranked number 1.
