And the winner of this fantastic tournament is Stefanos Tsitsipas, i did not give much attention to this kid when the tournament started and i wonder what was the odds for Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the tournament, the match was really competitive, the first set went to a tie breaker and Theim won that and the second set was won by Stefanos Tsitsipas easily and i thought Theim will win the final set but it too went to the tie breaker and Stefanos Tsitsipas won the tournament, hats off to him and hopefully his form continues.
Tournament like this are more interesting where you have groups and from their go for play offs.
One of the best tournament this year with a lot of surprises and i do not have a clue how the final will go as both players played some outstanding match in this tournament and defeated some legends and both are having full confidence going into this final and i am going to watch this match as a fan but i am expecting Thiem to win. ~snip~

I think when we see all hose GS then their we do not have another match to prove the true strength of a player since those are knock out type. A player is playing really good but in a bad day they are out of the league because of poor performance.

Your boy Tsitsipas has had an amazing tournament so far and I actually think he can go all the way and win this which will be the highlight of he's short career. Federer said that its only a matter of time before we see the young talent up there in the top three rankings and I think that next year we will see a change at the top as the young talent is looking good for the new year.
Hope so mate, you know that I've been on the bandwagon ever since with Stepanos. He also gained respect specially from Federer who he admired. Yes, it's going to be an amazing 2020 that's for sure because this year alone, we've seen them breaking the big 3 and I'm sure Stepanos will one Grand Slam next year. If not him, the other young talents in the tennis circuit today, (Thiem, Medvedev, and Zverev.
So I'm giving Stefanos Tsitsipas my bet on this one, although h2h Thiem as the advantage, but I'm seeing Stefanos pulling a dramatic win here.
I am with Stefanos Tsitsipas as well.
He is doing great in this tournament, he has won Medvedev, Nadal and now Federer. I think all three are more difficult opponents that Thiem (at least Nadal and Federer for sure). It is time to play one more great game and get the title of ATP tournament.

Simply stunned by some results in London. I feel sorry for those who bet in recent days. Even a well paid algorithm can't help with match predictions. Somehow Thiem left biggest impression on me with his majestic performance vs. Novak. If Austrian can maintain and replicate that level he will win the tournament.
This was one of the most unexpected upsets and results in tennis in a long time, Dominic Thiem and Stefanos Tsitsipas played some wonderful matches and i did not expect Stefanos defeating Medvedev and then he went on to defeat Zverev and finally Federer to reach the finals and Thiem started off defeating Federer and his game against Djokovic was superb.Thiem got defeated by Berrettini and Stefanos by Nadal in the group stages but both played some outstanding matches and hopefully some fireworks in the finals too.
I'm expecting a classic match between Stefanos and Dominic in the finals. Both of them elevated their game in this tournaments and defeated the best of there and I'm sure that they will give everything in the finals not just for themselves but for us tennis players. I'm leaning towards Stefanos here though, but I'm not betting because I have lost a decent just in this tournament alone. I would just stay and watch the match unfold and cheer.

I am also leaning towards Thiem. Zverev has raised his game recently but he was quite poor this whole season (by his own high standards) and I simply don't believe in him in big matches. Thiem is more of a fighter. If Zverev gets first set Thiem will up his game and try to turn it around. But if Thiem gets first set I wouldn't be surprised if Zverev just breaks and losses easily.
Federer and Tsitipas is really hard to predict. I am thinking Federer has an edge simply on account of his experience. Also it will probably be a bit of shock for Tsitsipas to have supporters rooting for his opponent. I am looking forward to see how he handles that. However, the bookies see Federer as a big favorite so I decided to take Tsitipas to win at least a set. I see more value in that odds. He should be able too put up a good fight.

It's not only you but most of the speculators including me was thinking Djokovic will win this match as he does always against Federer, Djokovic was in Federer head and Federer was never able to get him out even he has all these achievements. But yesterday it was epic. Federer pulled everything out and made Djokovic an average opponent against him. Very unxpected result in this tournament, only one from the big 3 can advance to semis and the dominance of the 3 big starts to be broken.
Tsistipas vs Federer, Thiem vs Zverev, I predict that Tsitsipas and Zverev will advance to Finals. Tsitsipas is on fire even he lose from Nadal I don't think it will affect his match later, and also Zverev has a strong motivation to be able to maintain his title.

And just when we all get scared there comes a day when all favorites win. I am counting Zverev (odds 2.10) as a favorite here because he needed the win and Medvedev couldn't progress even if he won today. To make things even worse I chose correct outcomes for tennis but it wasn't enough for me so I had to add 2 football matches as well. Guess how that went 
Too bad about Nadal he won today but didn't progress even tough he had two wins like other guys. Funny how things turn out in this group stages. If Medvedev won today Nadal would have gone trough as group winner.

Tsitsipas has no pressure on this match because he is certain to go to the semifinals, it is difficult to predict who will to the Nadal semifinals, or Zverev both have a chance of advance to semifinals, but Nadal have more big chance to semis.
Pretty obvious that Dominic Thiem didn't push himself against Berrettini because he was already in the semi finals. And Matteo Berrettini made history as well, being the first Italian to win a singles match in this season ending tournament. He defeated Thiem, 7-6(3), 6-3.
Right, maybe Thiem is reserving his energy for more big matches to come.
The Nitto ATP Finals have been up and down with players losing against players we wouldn't expect but then again at the end of the season we do see these upsets. Federer beating Djokovic I wouldn't call an upset but most thought Djokovic would win. Stefanos Tsitsipas is playing some great tennis and could upset Nadal, I'm really liking the way Tsitsipas is playing in this tournament and is looking good for the AO if he stays fit and healthy.
And who would have seen this tournament turning into lots of up and down? Yes, Federer beating Djokovic is not an upset but it was really interesting to see the way Federer beat Djokovic at this point of their career.
