What a great day for Croatian tennis, we just got two ATP 500 winners.
Cilic won in London against Djokovic in 3 sets while our young hope Coric won in Halle against the best grass player Federer.

Not really a good year for Djokovic but he has started on a good track and maybe its not his day to win again in London. But Djokovic really fought hard that I thought he will gonna win but damn, Cilic fought back from match point and even came bak from 1-4 deficit in the tie break. Such disappointing lost for Djokovic.

What a injection to his self confident would that be. And he was pretty close. Only 3 points more he needed to finish match in 2nd set tie break. Kinda unlucky...
He said that he would return to this tournament in years to come.

Yes, This is a moral booster win for Cilic, at the brink of defeat, but he snatches it under from Djokovic and raised the trophy. I guess Djokovic is really unlucky this year but just like I said, he is slowly picking up the pieces and maybe a few more tournaments and a win will bring back his confidence again to compete for the top spot.
Yeah, you are right about next games which will clear the top players and let’s see who will win the upcoming Wimbledon tournament. Wimbledon tournament is the tournament of Roger federer because he has been dominant here since his start and clinched most wins here. Other players will also try their best to compete for the trophy but I think it is Rogers again.

There is no doubt that Federer is the favourite and one to beat however I do give chances to a few of the up and coming players to really give him a run for his money. I again am going for some value in Wimbledon just like I did for the French Open which almost paid off for me but Nadal was simply too good. So I placed a bet on Zverev, Cilic and Kyrgios to win outright all at over $10 odds.
With Federer losing in the Gerry Webber final, I am sure that he will be hoping that he wins the next tournament as a result of that. But i am sure that Nadal is going to continue his good form and win the tournament.
Actually, I think someone will manage to stop Federer on Wimbledon. Simply, he didn't buy me with his recent plays at Gery Webber tournament. He was even close to losing against Paire in 2nd Round.
I don't know maybe he didn't play with full strength but let's see.

Right, that 3 have a good chance to upset Roger in Wimbledon so I agree with you that its a good bet. Specially Zverev and Cilic who have been showing good performance this year. I wouldn't be surprise though if Roger again win this tournament, but if he ever encounter this 3 before the finals, I think it will be a good and entertaining match.

The debate between Roger and Nadal is a ever green debate but let's not forget that Roger at Wimbledon turns into a monster but that monster is aging, he's yet good as he always was but his body is not the same. However I would love to have these two in the finals maybe a 10 hour match this time, I'll be disappointed if these two don't make it to the finals.

That's why this 2 took some time off because of all the wear and tear of the tennis circuit. As as have said, Roger is really good at Wimbledon so I think he still can do it even if he is aging. We really love the fantasy match, but I don't think it will last 10 hours long, that's too much and someone will really give out when they fought that kind of marathon match.
The probability of both of them making it to the finals is less and they both fighting hard for 10 hours?  No way , they aren't teenagers  they are 30+ and moreover you can expect a 5 setter to be 5-6 hours max , 10 hours is almost impossible .

What an incredible week for Croatian tennis. Marin won Queens tournament in Britain, he was better than Novak and Borna won Halle beating Federer in the finale. That means that Rafa will be first seeded in the world again.
Rafa took a break after France Open, he needed that, clay season was very exhausting for him. I am sure that he wants to make as better result as he can on the Wimbledon, but I think that he can not play finale . It simply is not his surface, lots of players that are not superstars eliminate him in early phases of this GS practically in a row, in last 6,7 years. Rafa is playing on every surface like he is playing on the clay. Its just not possible, especially on grass. When he was younger, he could play like that, now, his body can not tolerate that amount of physical hard work, especially his knees.Last year Muller eliminate him, Rosol, Brown, Kyrgios did that in the past. I am pretty sure that we are not going to watch finale between Roger and Rafa on Wimbledon.

Đoković is back in Queens after 8 years. In his first match, he dominated John Milman and won easily 6:2 6:1. He showed pure dominance and reminded us at old days.
Maybe grass season is his time of the year Smiley

His next opponent is Dimitrov. Bookmakers made Novak favourite in that one.
Novak had many tough matches with players in the past and called as world number one and remained for sometime but the current ranking shows that Nadal is the world number one player in tennis. Novak has moved back to 22nd number in the tennis ranking and this shows that he is not playing well from several times. He can return and can achieve the first position again but this will take time.
Yeah, you are right. He needs to reach old form first. Actually, this week is pretty good for him. He reached finals, and he is right now playing it against Čilić and he just now won first set 7:5 Smiley
Winning this tournament would be psychological incentive for him and his self-confidence.
We can agree that he will return but let’s discuss about the incoming Wimbledon which is a game of Roger federer because he has dominancy in this event and has clinch most of the titles since his journey. It will show that who is better in Tennis if we see matches among Roger federer, Nadal, Murray, Novak and many other best players. I have told to all that this is the title of Roger federer, what you say?

roger federer will still dominate every tennis tournament. he is the best tennis athlete.
Yeah man, Roger is a diamond in tennis and there are many others but the place of Roger federer is unique. Currently he won a tennis tournament and grabbed his 98th title near to century. He is the first Swiss tennis player who won the current title STUTTGART OPEN.

He won it from a Canadian opponent after a good match. In my eyes Nadal and other players can not reach at the place of Roger federer, I am not talking about the ranking but the sight of people.

Nadal will reach beyond , mark my words . If Nadal continues to play till 36 he is gonna win more and be more notable than he is now . Simple reason , he is the most humble , best sportsman in Tennis .
Federer did well to grab up the win against Paire , I guess today it will be easy for him against Ebden.
Nadal is number one but it does not mean that he will win because we know further that Roger has been on the number one many times in the past and has a lot of that skill which is not in Nedal. Let’s see what happens in the upcoming Wimbledon event because you know better that Roger has been better here and will clinch it once again. Other players are also active and fit but it is the show of Roger Federer.
Both players have deserved that number one position but experience and form wise I think Roger is better than Nadal, I personally like Nadal play he is simply an outstanding player in coming tournament we will get to know who is the best. And with these two players other young players also giving there best I think Wimbledon event will give us full of entertainment.

Wimbledon is one of the biggest tennis stage out there. So I'm sure that Roger Federer will try to put a show. However, there are a lot of good tennis player who are simply improving and  trying to catch those veterans right now. This is one of Roger's better tournament but I wouldn't say that we will clinch it that easy, yes he is the favorite, but then again, there are a lot of dark horse here than can pull a upset. I will be happy if Roger pull it off, but wouldn't surprise if someone new will raise the trophy this year.

Yes I really enjoyed the Cilic/Djokovic match as it seems that Novak is starting to find some form leading into Wimbledon and the same goes for Cilic so maybe Federer won't have it all his own way and there could be some competition for him.
