He deserves to win and beat Murray. He won the US Open 2009 and beat best roger federer at that time. He could be a giant player but he got injury. It is time to let him win Olympics. Cheesy

What an epic match that was . First set , first game , Del potro broke and Nadal came back and won the first set , second set was not that amusing but surely great display of tennis and third set was ultimate , Del potro brakes Nadal serve and is serving for the match , Nadal breaks to love , again tie breaker , Del potro serving for match and Nadal breaks but he spoiled it all with over powered backhand . It was simply an epic match , now gotto wait and see whether Del can win against Murray .

Incredible from Rafael Nadal , playing both double and single and still reamain unbeaten in this olympic game. I still gonna give a big credit to Marc Lopez of course , he the key man of this gold medal success. Job done in double , how about the single competition. Del Proto not gonna be easy to be beat , he don't want to losing in semi-finals again in two consecutive olympic game. This match will definitely goes to 3 set , if they both play really well.

Nadal is the dominant player now in the tournaments for the men's tennis olympics even if he had an angle/leg injury two months ago that took him out of competition for a while.. it looks like he is back with a fury!
I want to see him win the gold for his country of Spain!

rafael nadal should have been able to win the match, nadal king of clay-court, and delportro also clay-court specialist, and game played in brazil on clay-court too

I have to think Murray will win Olympic Gold again just like he did at the last games in London 2012.

Murray is so much better with Lendl as a coach. Del Potro is dangerous though, he is in good form. I don't think Nadal is the player he once was so I don't even expect him to reach the final.

If Gael Monfils keep it up this effort , sooner or later he will back to his French No.1 since Tsonga performance have been inconsistent. Monfils still have few golden year left to play in tennis , if he wanna get a grandslam before he retire , i think this is the time for aiming US open.
But i don't think he will have a big chance in olympic game right now , his journey might end when he face Nishikori next. The Japanese guy always have a really high spirit when it come to their country glory. I guess most of the favor will be win in today match day.

The matches now are getting harder to pick a winner but I think you have picked the right ones to win but I would not be surprised if Nishikori beats Monfils and you just never know Bellucci may even beat Nadal as he will have the home crowd cheering him on. There have already been some big upsets so far and this would be one of them.
