It is about time she lose this rank, she hasnt really been a great tennis player anymore. She is great however she has past her moment and now this is the time for another player to shine. Nothing wrong with this and this doesnt mean that she needs to retire but she should be giving chances for the others to shine

It would have been great win if you bet those 3-1 for wawrinka instead however no one expected this guy to win anyway however he won against murray and djokovic. It reminds of del potro in the olympics game, when no one expected him to win he did win against some of the top players

not just that he won and djokovic due to in injury made good effort to play 5 sets game
anyway he will have to wait for his 13th gland slam title congrats to wawrinka he showed well in this tournament

I agreem he already did so much this year. The lost vs Cilic on Cincinnati and now the loss vs Nishikori on the US open are perfectly acceptable and not a disappointment. Specially since both were on late phases. I mean a disappointment were the losses from Djokovic this year in important tournaments. Maybe he will take the US now. I think he should have no problem defeating Monflis, since Monflis didn't face very tough opponents yest in the US open.
