1st inning: 44.1 overs/all out and 2nd inning: 36.5 overs/ all out. You don't deserve to win when your team can't even bat for 100 overs in 2 innings.
For some reason, intent merchants led by Rohit are not keen to face enough balls and only looking to score at a faster rate. In both India's innings, RR was well over 4 RPO. On flat decks, it works but when the pitch has enough spice for bowlers then you as a batter do the hard yards and then bring your aggressive mindset, it's 5-day test cricket not T-20 or ODI.
Indeed. India played way too aggressive, no batter tried to stay on crease, everyone tried to hit bowls that should have been left alone. KL that was seen in first match was not found in second test either.
You look at first match lineup and second match, second match's lineup is better in every way, yet India wins the first and loses the second.
If Shami comes back in third test, it should be Siraj that should be benched. Way too much of attitude for skills, and those who are actually skilled don't show that much of aggression (Starc, Bumrah).
This match literally ended in two days, I feel sad about my entertainment more so, lol.
