New Zealand still have time to make their record amazing by winning every single game and do not lose hope. In the final test, they have made 315 runs with 9 wickets lost. I understand that this score is not much but still NZ needs to bowl well on the 2nd day and hope to get the England batsmen out early.
Now that the third test match's first day has finished and I think New Zealand is doing a very good job as they started the game with a commitment to making partnerships. Already they have scored 315 but lost 9 wickets, one wicket still in hand. I think they should try to get the lead of as much runs as they are able to do because in the last match, they suffered a very bad loss which is why it is an important game for them to win and improve their record.

I don't see any chance for New Zealand to make a comeback. New Zealand is definitely going to lose this match. We saw New Zealand's defeat in the first match as well. And it can be said for sure that New Zealand is going to lose by a big margin in the second match as well.

You can't really ignore the impact from IPL. For Indian test performance, this impact has been mostly negative. Previously the Indian squad had quality test players such as Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara, who would focus solely in test format. Such players are rare now. When someone plays T20 format for 80% of the time, he may face difficulties in transitioning to the longer format. And from what I can see, this was very evident during the second test match. Batsmen are being over-aggressive, and bowlers are not willing to experiment.
Before announcing the team for the Test series against Australia, it must be considered that which Test player has a good overall performance against Australia and only those players should be appointed against Australia so that the competition between India and Australia will be even.
Too much experiments and changes in the team sometimes are not helpful and it further decreases the performance of the team. Also those who might be removed from the team, they are big names and that can also creates some panic and maybe politics in the team too. I think India should take sensible decisions if they decide to bring any change in the team.
The next test match will begin in Brisbane from tomorrow and I am not hearing any news of big changes in the team.

Tomorrow we will watch third test match of Indian International cricket test team against Australian International test team. Australian team is not weak team and we saw excellent effort in the last match because that was totally one sided match. He is great against India, but he isn't invincible or anything.Bumrah dismissed him for 89 in the second innings of the first Test but Travis Head, the only batsman in the second Test, was credited with a 140-run innings.
But if he gets out early in the third Test, it might be a plus point for India and give India a chance to win the third Test.

I don’t think that is the right cause. I mean IPL is still few months away and India still have three more test matches left in this series. Also both IPL (T20) and test cricket are different formats. I don’t think anyone can give such an excuse for the poor batting performance. Also the players need to perform better in all games in order to give their 100% in IPL. If a player is out of form in the current series, how can he suddenly become in-form in the next tournament

The third match will start after tomorrow. Till now one game has been won by India while Australia is also in the series by winning a single match. Now the team who wins this match will get such a good lead for the further games and at the same time, it boost their confidence for further matches.
In the second match, I found a nervous start by Indian batsmen, they were struggling while their bowlers were also confused and could not play a better game. However, they played amazingly in the first match, and everyone was hoping for them.
