Many thought that maybe India could give a lead of many runs in this Test but in reality it was not possible now that the score is level and the lead is four runs. Washington Sundar and Ravichandran Ashwin remain unbeaten on the wicket so if these two batsmen can bat a few overs then maybe India can give a lead of 50+ runs.
Ha, I also thought that India would be able to take a lead of at least 100 runs. Because New Zealand managed to collect only 235 runs. Scoring 350 runs on this pitch was not a very difficult task. But Indian batsmen are not in good form. So India failed to do well in today's match as well. India managed to take a small lead of just 28 runs. The performance of the batsmen of the Indian squad is as weak as in the last two matches.

India are trailing by some runs, but they can chase it. 3 wickets are left and they have to make 13 runs to come in the lead but I think still India will struggle in the game if their bowlers do not play well in the second innings because Indian batsmen did too much struggle and they reached here, three wickets are left and I don't think so they can even make 100 runs lead.

The Indian batsmen are playing well in the first session of the second day and their responsible batting has helped them to score 180 runs for 4 wickets. Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant are trying to bat well and they have a tendency to score runs quickly. The Indian team is still trailing by 55 runs and it is expected that they will be very likely to at least draw in their third Test. The New Zealand batsmen scored only 235 runs for all wickets at the end of the first day, due to which they did not have much resistance to the Indian bowlers. Now if the bowlers can bowl better, it is possible to white wash India.

The India team lost the wicket of Rohit Sharma earlier. Then Jaiswal and Gill stood wicket and slowly built a partnership. Finally, Jaiswal was bowled out when India's score was 78 runs. Indian A team effort in 1 st turn was quite poor and they grab only 107 runs in 88 overs. Devdutt only showed some help and he made 36 runs in 77 balls and hitted two 4s. Australia A team also not showing well effort and they chased all runs 107 and trail by 88 runs for 2 nd turn to india team. Now 2 nd turn of india team is continuing playing their turn and this time their batsman performed better than 1 st turn. They made 275 runs by losing 5 wickets and I am not sure they will win this game if they will grab 100 more runs or above then they have high chance to beat Australia A team. Let's see what happens in next.
