As you know, the Sri Lankan team won the first match of this series and Dhananjaya de Silva became the man of the match in this wonderful match at Sylhet, but I think that was not fair due to Mendis also playing with him and in both innings he also made a century and in the second innings, he made more than 160 runs while Dhananjaya de Silva just made less than 110 runs in both innings.

Also Mendis hit more boundaries and made the runs in fewer balls so I think it is unfair. Dhananjaya de Silva is captain and Mendis is not captain so I think due to the power of captaincy he picked the man of the match award and didn’t give it to the original owner of the award. Sad

Well.. I don't think anyone is going to mind that too much. After all, it was a great win and in the end, the Sri Lankan players had some great achievements. I am honestly unable to remember the last time when same 2 batsmen had scored a century each in both innings in a single test match. It was a great performance from them and it was an equally terrible performance from Bangladesh.

I think it is high time Bangladesh dropped Litton Das from the squad. What was that on the second innings? He was chasing a score of 500 and he had two whole days. But he came out and charged like he had to score six from one ball. Of course, the whole Bangladesh team was stupid but that stood out the most.

The performance of all the players of the Sri Lankan team was outstanding in the first test match against Bangladesh. As the Sri Lankan team bowled well they batted well as well which resulted in them miserably defeating Bangladesh in the first Test match. The Sri Lankan players gave everything they needed to win a match in the first Test match against Bangladesh. The bad batting done by the Bangladesh team should take a lesson from the Sri Lankan batsmen that how to bat patiently and score a lot of runs despite the batting disaster.

Many people took it for granted that the Bangladesh team batted poorly in the first innings but they maintained that consistency in their second innings as well. Only Mominul Haque fought against the Sri Lankan bowlers in Bangladesh's second innings, perhaps his effort to put his team in a strong position. If a few more batsmen like Moinul Haque had played well Bangladesh might have been able to draw with Sri Lanka in this match but that didn't happen either. Sri Lanka took a one-nil lead in the Test series against Bangladesh after winning the first Test match.

After losing the ODI series, Sri Lanka showed us their extra ordinary performance against Bangladesh and defeated their opponent, won by 328 runs. Well to be honest Bangladesh has alot potential to perform at such stage but I think something wrong is going on with them may they are tired or some wrong instructions or tactics or may be wrong squad selection. After having impressive performance against New Zealand in last home test series expectations were high from them, but they have done shameful performance in this first test match and having humiliating defeat which is surely needed to bring new below for them because in both innings they completely fail to have any impact which is surely big decline into their batting strength their quality players are out which mean they need to act quickly for having some better things which increase their confidence and performance level.

In first inning, Tajul have some resistance but then in second inning we have only Momin ul Haq with no support for these in both innings bring huge disaster and huge below for the Bangladesh test format because now many are feeling ICC needs to revoke their test status which is best for the game quality because we have no high hopes from them for any improvement.

The 1 st test game between Bangladesh team vs Sri Lanka team was ended today when 1 st Inning was overed this game I knew that Bangladesh have a big problem and they have highly chance to lost this game. Bangladesh were eventually all out for 182 runs. Only Mominul Haque performed better for Bangladesh, he was unbeaten on 87 runs. Mehidy Hasan Miraz also performed a bit better, he was dismissed for 33 runs. Besides, all other batsmen's performance has been very bad. Five batsmen of Bangladesh were dismissed for 0 runs, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Shahadat Hossain Dipu, Litton Das, Khaled Ahmed, Nahid Rana all were dismissed for 0 runs. Bangladesh batsmen should have batted patiently, playing test matches means playing patiently and patiently.
