The team expects Liton and Muminul to play well because they are now experienced player. However, the performances of Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Najmul Hasan Shanto were outstanding.

The Bangladesh team was in dire need of a suitable opener. The opening pair can't stay in the crease even for 10 overs. Although Shadman could not score much, Joy and Shanto played very well. And other batsmen have also been able to maintain consistency. All in all, Bangladesh team's collection is quite good.

Shocking performance from Bangla tigers after losing very badly at home against Pakistan now they are in good position against Kiwis at Mount Maunganui with 73 runs lead and 4 wickets in hand Yasir Ali and Mahdy Hasan also contributing very positvely with 31 runs partnership another 30 runs can bring them into better position for having good confidence booster game for them. A lot of controversy still surrounds the omission of Kohli. During the first test at Centurion, he had scores of 35 and 18. On first day 11 wickets fell, so one thing is clear we are not heading towards draw there must be some winner for this game. Right now SA aim should be to score 300 runs and get lead of 100 runs. India yet to win test series in SA.

Probably, Virat Kohli will play his 100th test match against Sri Lanka in their home ground. Rahane got out in the first ball today, and India collected 202 runs only in the first innings. Looks like the pitch is bowling friendly. South African batsman also struggling to play comfortably.

Yeah seam friendly and looks low scoring game to me, in last tour India was standing at more or less same situation after first day of play and in the end won by 60 ish runs as Proteas were batting last. We have 4 days of cricket left so let's see.

SA are in good position to retain there test supremacy on Asian Teams. India bowled out on 202 and SA for here on must score 300+ runs if they really wanna win this game. In first test, SA batting failed miserably in both innings. Let's see how they perform this time.

India not in a good position in there first innings, there no 5th batsman is on the crease at just 58 runs. SA must try to bowl out India as early as possible. Kohli is injured? I think he must take some break. Sometimes taking a break is better then keep playing in bad form.

India has been dismissed for 202 runs.
When you have only five batsmen and three of them are passengers, it doesn't come as a surprise. Only openers and tail enders are scoring runs. India's batsmen have struggled today. It is time for Pujara to leave team India since he has become a burden to the team. If India loses this test, the selectors and team manager will be forced to think.

Opening pair was crease for 18th over and scored 43 runs. They were a bit slow but its fine, they need to stay on pitch if they are successful in staying on the pitch then runs will come automatically. Even there tail is doing good, one thing is clear new zealand will have to fight hard to win this.

Excellent batting from Bangladesh team, have done this batting after a long delay but this proves that they have the potential to perform well. Good thing is all of there batsmen contributed, all batsmen are in double figure which is positive thing.

It was a good day for Bangladesh as they ended the third day 73 runs ahead of the opposition. The Tigers are playing some excellent Test cricket. Bangladesh took the lead in Mount Maunganui after Mominul Haque and Liton Das hit a couple of fine eighties. This team lost terrible to Pakistan in their home soil recently. It is really incredible and unbelievable how well Bangladesh batted and bowled on New Zealand soil. The best you can do is draw rather than win in these conditions.
