It doesn't make any sense to have lop-sided matches such as this one. And at the moment, these matches are mandatory, according to the schedule for 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship.

When South Africa batted, the wicket was fully batting friendly and South Africa declared the innings at 585 for 6. While Bangladesh batted a few overs in the last session, four batsmen were out in the top order. Lol actually Bangladesh does not know how to play cricket. Apart from Bangladesh's only Taijul Islam, none of the other bowlers could collect a wicket while Bangladesh lost a wicket in the first over. There is a fall of 4 wickets for 38 runs, which means that Bangladesh will be all out in the first session tomorrow. That means if Bangladesh cannot avoid the follow-on, then it can be easily said that Bangladesh is going to be defeated by an innings and a huge run margin.

South Africa scored 575 runs for the loss of 6 wickets on the second day. The batsmen of the South African team have done an amazing batting and have been able to give a big lead to the Bangladesh team due to their excellent batting performance. Bangladesh team lost wickets on the second day, and they will be all out soon on the third day, Bangladesh team's batting performance was so bad that they did not allow them to increase their runs. 38 runs in 9 overs for the loss of 4 wickets on the 3rd day, they will not be able to fill the lead with 537 runs but will fail. That time Bangladesh started well but this time, South Africa had very strong lead in the start of the game that is why, South Africa is leading the match. This is the last test match of this series Bangladesh have to win it to draw the series but it is impossible for them now. Bangladesh reply to South African 575 runs was 38/4. This is the worst possible start they can imagine.

Both are gone. Tony de Zorzi was so close to his double century, but in the end he fell to Taijul Islam for 177. David Bedingham was also nabbed by the same bowler after he got his half-century. And after that there was a slide, with Kyle Verreynne getting out for a duck. For now Proteas have lost 5 wickets, and all of those wickets went to Taijul Islam. The other spinners (Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mominul Haque) are not having any success and that puts additional burden on the shoulders of Taijul.

The Bangladesh team performance in this test can be quite disappointing which can be guessed from the bowling of the first day, besides their fielding was not so good and missed a few catches which made the South African team more aggressive. Tony de Zorzi's caught wicket left the keeper which made him more aggressive and he played an excellent innings of 143 off 227 balls. Among the budding players for the Bangladesh team, Taijul Islam took two wickets on the first day, but none of the others bowled aggressively throughout the day. Three spinners and two pacers bowled throughout the day but they could only take two wickets and the South African batsmen had a lot of patience which put them in a strong position.

The second day of the second test has started and the morale and experience of the South African team players are in a very strong position and if they can bat throughout the day today, they can give a bigger lead to the Bangladesh team. I think Bangladesh team will lose the second test also because their batting line is not that strong.

Will they stop batting after reaching a certain score or keep batting until they lose all their wickets? Tony de Zorzi played exceptionally well yesterday and if he keeps it up he might score double century. His partnership with Tristan Stubbs was important even though Stubbs got out after scoring century. Bangladesh bowlers had tough time stopping South Africa batsmen and did not have much success. Outcome of match depends on South Africa batting plan and Bangladesh ability to fight back. Will South Africa stay in control or can Bangladesh make comeback? Let's see what they both will do?

Irrespective of the nature of the pitch, I don't think that Bangladeshi batsmen can catch up with South Africa. The Proteas are strong in both the bowling and batting departments. They have very good spinners in Keshav Maharaj, Senuran Muthusamy and Dane Paterson. Then they have pacers like Wiaan Mulder and Kagiso Rabada who can bowl well even in flat tracks. And combined with poor performances from Bangladeshi batsmen recently, the picture on the wall is very clear for me.

Bangladesh failed to take any advantage of home ground at Chattogram. The South Africa team made 250 runs till now and lost only a single wicket. This pitch is the batting track or is it the bad bowling by Hasan Mahmud, Nahid Rana and other Bangladesh bowlers.

The key performance was by Tony de Zorzi and he made 116 runs and still batting. Also Tristan Stubbs is batting on 97 and he will shortly complete his century. Don't know how Bangladesh will react to this first day strong performance by South Africa.

For me the current score board indicates there is no comeback for Bangladesh team in that ongoing series as they already lost the first match and now according to south African player performance things will be terrible for them while in second innings because they already scored 300+ with loss of few wicket so i believe if Bangladesh even get thier important wicket at start of second day still they will goes around 400 above but if they failed to catch them then may be we will have to see a 500 figure as currently thier set batter are in good forum despite most of them are young and unexperience but still doing far good. It's a tough test for Bangladesh captain because after victory for Pakistan in test series thier performance graph are continuously going downward and that really hurt them.
