England and India resting players and i am surprised with the exclusion of Jasprit Bumrah, Anderson and Bess.
3rd Match is Pink ball Test (D/N) so both teams are resting their fast bowlers. England follow rotation policy anyway so its not a brainer and also their schedule is packed with the Test cricket, similarly India also playing fair amount of Test Cricket + IPL + T-20 World Cup so Bumrah need to be fresh for almost everything. That's why BCCI managing his work load.

No idea about Bess tho.

Don't worry..

200 from Rohit and 100 from Rahane coming in this inning with record partnership for 4th wicket.  Grin After that fifer for Axar Patel and Kuldeep, followed by 7 wicket haul for Ashwin in the second inning.

India winning the game, easy peasy!  Grin
Easy game for India. When Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli went for a duck i thought India is going to repeat the Adelaide magic  Cheesy. Luckily Rohit Sharma stood his ground even though he played some reckless shot and Ajinkya Rahane is showing some solid defense and hopefully India will be able to score above 400 runs.

2 quick wickets of Pujara and Kohli..  Undecided

Kohli out in a duck Grin. Thankfully Rohit is still on the pitch and is going well. Last time I saw his score he was on 80, expecting a ton from him. Rahane needs to stay there too if these two are able to play today then we can expect a good score on the board.

The second test match between ENG and IND already started, IND won the toss and elected to bat first hope they can do what ENG did to them earlier?

The unexpected inclusion of Axar Patel and they excluded Sundar for him who helped India in the first test cross 300+ with his unbeaten 85. Again the selection committee is going to face criticism for such a thing?
Nah, unless Axar fails. Having said that Axar patel was first choice in the first match too but he got injured. At home India never played more than 6 pure batsmen. Axar-Sunder-Ashwin are handy batsmen down the order (add Jadeja as well). So its all depends on their bowling ability and if they can contribute with the ball or not. Sunder looked really rusty with the ball in the last game so it makes sense.

Right now, the main problem for India, Jadeja is out of the match which his hand is broken during the Ausis test match. This is the main drawback for the selection committee, but India already lost their 3rd wicket, whereas Kohli out for none, we don't know how far India will survive in this Test we have to watch closely.
I am surprised that the match is taking place in the same ground and this time India won the toss and elected to bat first and they will look to score runs just like England did in the first match but they already lost their top 3 wickets and i am not happy with the England selection process by resting James Anderson who was instrumental in picking the wickets in the last day. With all the changes i have no idea how this match will go as it will be difficult to bat in the last two days.

Total 7 changes for the both teams in the name of rotation policy. England Team also has excellent bench strength as far as bowling department goes. They rested their front line bowlers Jimmy - Archer (Although Archer was forced change due to injury).

With first test match win by WI against Bangladesh, WI continues from where they left and made 409 in first innings of second test. Bonner & Joshuha both were unlucky to get out in 90's and Alzarri got out at 82. Bangladesh dint got a good start and lost 2 wickets for just 11 and still trailing by 304 and 6 wickets left. West Indies got a strong start in this test match and should capitalize it.

Joshua Da Silva is turning out to be such a good find for the West Indies. When he came out to bat, West Indies were struggling at 178/5, and I expected them to make another 50-60 runs at the most. But the partnerships with Nkrumah Bonner and Alzarri Joseph added valuable runs. Obviously Bangladeshi bowling was without venom, due to the absence of Shakib al Hassan.

The second day is the end. Bangladesh scored 105 runs by losing 4 wickets. West Indies scored a huge total of 409 runs. Bangladesh team understands the lack of Shakib Al Hasan very well. If Shakib was in the squad, maybe the West Indies team would not have been able to score so many runs. I think the Bangladesh team will not be able to overcome the follow-on

BCCI will remove Virat Kohli from the post of captain if India fails to qualify for the WTC final. Because they have better options. Rahane has proved his mettle by winning the series against Australia. But I should give Virat Kohli some more time. Although his captaincy has been a bit bad now, still he is a quite successful captain considering the statistics of his entire career.
Virat Kohli is performing as a player and the failure is when none of the players play their part and you cannot expect the captain to win matches. Sure there will be pressure for Kohli as a captain to win the reminder of the series because this is his second consecutive loss leading the team and he will be working hard to change that. Either way it is going to be a really good series and with the way India played the series can go either way and i wont be surprised if England wins the series.

In India You need titanium balls if you are going against Virat  Grin

England announced their 12 Men squad for the next game, they made 4 changes because of their rotation policy. Anderson, Buttler, Bess and Archer (injured) are out. Ben Foakes, Moeen, Chris Woakes, Olly Stone and Broad are in.

Axar Patel is available for selection so no surety, only speculation for the Indian squad.

You are right. The BCCI is very supportive of Virat Kohli. And that is what should be done. Because Virat has performed the duties of captain so diligently so far. Now he is in somewhat off form. Hopefully, in a few days, he will find out his mistakes. Take appropriate steps to correct his mistakes. And go back to the previous destructive form again

The problem with Virat Right now is that his aggression has got converted to arrogance and ego. As a result, he is unable to take unbiased decisions and in the end it affects the winning probability of the team. A lot of people have already pointed out his mistakes. But rather than rectifying them, he has attacked those who pointed out these facts. I don't think that he will ever change, unless the BCCI takes some concrete action, such as making Rahane as the test team captain.

I don't think so. The BCCI has been very supportive of Virat Kohli until now and he is captaining India ever since 2013 (in test format since 2016). Apart from being the captain, he remains as the most important player in the team, with the Indian batting still overdependent on his form. Under such circumstances, I don't expect BCCI to "remove" Kohli from captaincy. The only possibility, is if he voluntarily resigns from the post. And the chances of something like that happening is very low right now.

If by any chance India does not make into the Finals under Kohli's captaincy then do you guys think he will lose his captain's hat. The way India played with England in their first match I think there is a high probability they won't win this series. If they do not win the series then they might now reach the final.

If India lose the series, then there is no chance that they will qualify for the WTC finals at Lord's. But then I am not sure whether Kohli will lose his job if that happens. I have a feeling that by now Kohli has grown bigger than the team. It won't be easy to replace him as far as test captaincy is concerned. Also, there will be resistance to some of the regular players. In the end we will see a repeat of the situation we had a few years back, when the players were divided into two camps, each led by Dhoni and Kohli.

He will not be removed as a capitan even if team India lost all the four games and the entire series because there is no other regular captain in the team. Rahane proved it but the selectors are still in favour of Kohli and his voice got more preferences even at the matches he was not a part of.
