[18:02] <@Ukyo> I am expecting all users to get their owed btc.

This is the most important thing. However, it looks like we need to wait a little more to have clarification on the details. It's frustrating but this is all we can do. Sit tight...

So this is the important part:
[...]

[18:03] <@Ukyo> the full story is not complete yet.
[18:03] <@Ukyo> until that time consider all of this guess work at best.

I'd vote for those 2 statements as the "important part".
Basically, everything else he says at this point is "guess work, at best".
Smells bad.

What I don't quite get is why he needs to communicate in this way. He could have chatted with those guys in private and could have posted the story when it is complete. By the way, the story so far IS complete and could be posted. Even though it doesn't have an ending yet. But it might not have one for some more time...so better post where we are now.

Oh so the loan isn't going to be paid back eh? Wonderful.

I can't wait to him to actually post a full report of WTF is going on.

We gotta wait for him to finish writing his story.. I cant wait to hear his excuse as to why he has not told the truth as soon as the BS started. Does it really take a month to get your story straight?

So this is the important part:

[17:58] so the issue has now changed from being a wallet issue into some other issue ....
[17:59] <@Ukyo> kanoi: this is why there will be a public announcement

[18:02] Lost or seized?
[18:02] <@Ukyo> I am expecting all users to get their owed btc.
[18:02] seized then.
[18:02] <@Ukyo> sigh
[18:02] <@Ukyo> I am expecting all users to get their owed btc via me.
[18:02] <@Ukyo> and my control.

[18:04] <@Ukyo> VinceSamios: at this point shit "has" hit the fan
[18:04] <@Ukyo> just to what level is the issue

So the most likely explanation we will get is that Ukyo has lost control of the coins for some reason (seized by some authority? or by doing something stupid while manipulating the wallet?) And he cannot pay back until he regains control of the funds. When and how that would happen is still unclear.

Sorry for the chunks... Ukyo has not talked this much in a long time so I keep expecting he is done.

[18:05] <@Ukyo> thanks
[18:07] Well - just to state the obvious - you'll need to explain how a wallet issue has turned into some other issue coz otherwise few will believe you (since the original issue was simply a wallet issue)
[18:07] <@Ukyo> yeah
[18:07] <@Ukyo> that will all be explained.
[18:08] <@Ukyo> whats being done to resolve the situation, whos involved, etc
[18:10] ... and I also presume that you reliase that if you have been using the weex funds elsewehere and lost any of them - you'll have a lynch mob after you Tongue
[18:11] hi Ukyo
[18:12] <@Ukyo> kanoi: I did not spend the funds. -_-;
[18:12] <@Ukyo> w|zzy your update is coming along with everyone elses
[18:12] <@Ukyo> I have a ton of documentation to put together still today
[18:12] <@Ukyo> so i need to get back to that
[18:12] <@Ukyo> as i said, just wanted talk to ppl for a bit
[18:13] yes - was just mentioning that if that was in the explanation - you'll need to run Tongue
[18:13] Tongue
[18:13] my problem is a different one though..
[18:13] <@Ukyo> your reserve will be fixed tonight/tomorrow
[18:13] <@Ukyo> then your in the same boat
[18:14] <@Ukyo> the old beta is shut down
[18:14] <@Ukyo> kanoi: well, no worries about that being in the explanation
[18:14] Smiley
[18:14] <@Ukyo> the only funds I spent was from the loan stuff
[18:14] that's fine. I don't have any withdrawals in place
[18:14] <@Ukyo> and i didnt even get to spend as much of that as I wanted
[18:14] <@Ukyo> or my own coins

[17:59] <@Ukyo> Just waiting on confirmation of the final peice
[18:00] Are funds safe Ukyo?
[18:00] as we all are waiting ...
[18:01] <@Ukyo> VinceSamios: Funds will be discussed during the post.
[18:01] That's a no then.
[18:02] <@Ukyo> Take it how you wnt to. but details will be provided.
[18:02] Lost or seized?
[18:02] <@Ukyo> I am expecting all users to get their owed btc.

[18:02] <@Ukyo> sigh
[18:02] <@Ukyo> I am expecting all users to get their owed btc via me.
[18:02] <@Ukyo> and my control.
[18:03] You've got to forgive me for following the logical path of a lack of information
[18:03] <@Ukyo> better?
[18:03] <@Ukyo> see
[18:03] <@Ukyo> heres the issue
[18:03] <@Ukyo> your getting bits and peices
[18:03] <@Ukyo> without the full story
[18:03] yup it is an issue
[18:03] <@Ukyo> this is why i stopped posting on the forums
[18:03] you're right
[18:03] <@Ukyo> the full story is not complete yet.
[18:03] <@Ukyo> until that time consider all of this guess work at best.
[18:03] Simple posts like "funds a safe" are all that's needed
[18:04] <@Ukyo> thats depending on point of view, is it not ?
[18:04] <@Ukyo> anywho, i need to get back to working on things.
[18:04] The only assumption anyone can make if you don't provide that info, is that shit has hit the fan
[18:04] <@Ukyo> I just wanted to stop and talk here for a bit since I saw someone looking for me
[18:04] I'm a supporter of yours Ukyo
[18:04] for the record
[18:04] <@Ukyo> VinceSamios: at this point shit "has" hit the fan
[18:04] <@Ukyo> just to what level is the issue
[18:05] <@Ukyo> but I a doing everything I can
[18:05] <@Ukyo> to resolve it and insure everyone is taken care of to the best of my ability
[18:05] IF you need any help let me know - I'm going to chill now with my wife and an episode of something
[18:05] <@Ukyo> thanks

It's the responsibility of the injured parties to collect restitution - I hope you aren't referring to your daddy-government when you say "judicial authority". That's not going to happen. Bitcoin destroys governments, so governments can't regulate bitcoin.

Take responsibilty. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

For those that lost a lot, your first step is to locate ukyo. Then to file a lawsuit and have him served. Then enforce the judgment.

Lolz.
If governments can't regulate bitcoin, who do you suggest the lawsuit should be filed with?  The courts aren't exactly an anarchist institution Smiley

Courts can absolutely be anarchist. I guess you've never heard of private arbitration? Judge.me? Decisions coming from private arbitration ARE ENFORCEABLE.

What do you do crumbs? You seem to LOVE government. I figure that's who your avatar is cheering for.

You got to tell me more about these anarchist courts.
I wanted to take Mr. Labcoin to the interweb court you suggested, but got this:

Dang... Cry

Why don't we start our own private cop thread, and catch Mr. Labcoin with it.
Then we can start our own private court thread, and bring Mr. Labcoin to justice there (with the help of the best interweb prosecutors private money could buy).
Once we're all done, we could throw him in Noob Jail where he'll have to make like a thousand posts before he gets out.
I'm totally down with this DIY law thang.

Ukyo said to expect an update Today/on Tuesday.

I expect him researching on how to serve that coin is gone news to make it sound terrific.

In an IRC conversation between me and Graet, playing proxy between myself and Ukyo, I was told that Ukyo would make a statement to either myself personally or to the public today. Based on the nature of that conversation I fully expect Ukyo to follow through and provide a statement of some form. Sadly, I have no insight into what said statement may include.

Announcements of announcements... this reminds me of recent things that I do not want to remember. We have already been there  Embarrassed

yes, i thought the same. Labcoin style
