Its an interesting thought experiment on whether we should have considered this pre draft and made our picks with this in mind.

I don't think changing the settings one week before the regular season ends is a good idea, plus 9ers won't be resting Deebo, they need every win they can get. 

Just as there is a competition for the last playoff spot do not forget about the race to the bottom Hueristic and myself are having, after all no one wants the ‘honor’ of being the worst team of the league, due to the tie breakers I have an advantage over Hueristic due to the points scored and it seems large enough so the Psychotics will need a win and a tie or a loss from the Cows, or the Psychotics could get a tie and with a loss of the Cows they could avoid the last position on the standings, so there is a lot at stake during the final game of the regular season.

And about the game of last night, the Bills are in trouble, they cannot run or stop the run, they lose against any team worth anything on the league and I still think their team is not designed to play at Buffalo and their awful weather, so while I think they will make make the playoffs I do not see them winning a single game with those deficiencies.

Edit:Yes that is the way the league is structured, however taking a look at my LM tools I can see I can change how long each round lasts, and the semifinals could take place on week 15 while the finals take place on week 16, leaving week 17 and 18 unused, if the members of the league want to change this then we need to vote as soon as possible about this as I do not know if I could change this once the playoffs are about to start.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. The other part of it is the playoff schedule, which I'm mildly confused about. It says "week 15-16" and "week 17-18". Do we play the finals in week 17? Some teams might be resting their top players by then. Might not apply to Colts though.

I was surprised to see that I clinched.  I hadn't mapped it out but, last week I thought I needed to win both of my last two games to get a spot.  Congrats to you and wheelz, and best of luck to the Muks,  Dogs, and Taco.


Despite the low score it was actually a fun game to watch.  The talent of the individual players really didn't play much into the result, it was all about strategy.

They showed a graphic during the game and I want to say there was a team that passed only twice which I want to say was sometimes in the 1970's..something like that.  I am glad I didn't bet this game.  I was going to put a few bucks on the Bills and I still think that they would have won if the weather wasn't so crazy.  Hats off to Bill and the Pats though, pretty crazy win but certainly impressive.

For Elon to get in, they must win and outscore Taco by 18+ points, if I got the tiebreakers right.  Also Dogs must lose, otherwise Elon would have to outscore Dogs by 150 or some such silly amount.

For Dogs to get in, they must win, and they have a huge points lead so that should do it.

@Hueristic. The Patriots cover the first half. I am so certain that the Bills will not have 7 points if the ball did not touch the Patriots’ player after the punt. The Bills were very lucky to have that free run then converted to a touchdown.

Josh Allen and Lamar did not become the players I speculated they would be for this year. It appears MVP might again be Aaron Rodgers or it might also be Tom Brady? However, I want Kyler Murray. The Cardinals have been very good, he deserves it.

My best guess is that the casinos still do not believe the Patriots are for real, after all we spent a great deal of the off-season and the regular season thinking the Bills were taking the AFC East easily, and now the Patriots are at the top playing their boring but successful version of football.


It is almost a certainty this is the case, however I wonder what AB was thinking? The guy was already on thin ice and only got an opportunity with the Bucs because Brady was vouching for him, with this not only the Bucs have every reason to release him, I wonder if there will be another team willing to give him a chance or we have seen the last of AB on the NFL? On the off-season he got an offer from KC but I doubt they will want to deal with the mess that is AB.

They can, not sure if they will though. Lamar against Pittsburgh... should be interesting.

The good news is that Nutildah "sad dog" Jones is back.

The Dallas D/ST are on waivers right now, so you can pick them up.  They've been inconsistent most of the year, but currently they are #3 in terms of highest fantasy points scored.

 

It probably has to do with the Pats record against the Bills from last year.  I'm worried about it, because I've got Allen and Diggs on my roster, and the Pats D has been amazing.  I haven't been placing too many bets this year, but taking the Pats to cover is not a bad idea.
