Lets not get all excited, that was the falcons they faced after all. Cheesy

They beat Browns too albeit without Chubb.

But yeah I'd like to see them beat Bills twice, get to the playoffs, and win 7 Super Bowls before I proclaim Mac Jones as Brady 2.0.
As a fan I am cautiously optimistic, if Mac Jones can give NE a decade or more of good performance and one SB win I will consider him to be a worthy successor of Brady, but some members of the media and the fans are trying to make out of him the next Brady, and honestly I have doubts we will see anyone go to 10 SBs and winning 7 of them.

And speaking of it have any of you watched the new documentary series about Brady titled Man in the arena?

Heard good things about it but havn't felt the need to see it.

I feel like my team is massively stacked this week, too bad i'm out of the running. Cheesy

Yeah, not so fast...Jets have allowed 175 points in their last 4.

Tua is a solid alternate play here...unless he re-injures (God forbid) his finger early in the game and you wind up with 5 points or less. Cheesy

Cordarrelle Patterson

I know, I know.  I was busy and didn't have time to check before the game.  Earlier in the week it was looking like he might be ready for the game.  Glad I started the Pat's D, however, that might have saved my ass.  We'll know Sunday.

Pats D was Stellar! And Folk had his second best game of the year, if he hadn't missed the extra point he would have tied his year high.

I know because he is against me! Cheesy

I have a team in fourth (12 team league) and this is what happened this week.

I lost
A Jones
Cordarrelle Patterson
W00ds for season
Hollywood brown
Antonio Brown to injuries this week

and have M Gordon and Van jefferson on bye.

I cant even field a fucking team.

I should have taken this year off. Cheesy

Yeah, but when you still have vulture attitude but ostrich execution it's only a matter of time until you get benched.  It'll be entertaining to watch, though.

Yeah, I can't see them winning anything with him at the helm.

Did you forget something?

Clearly the defense won Thursday's game, but that's evidence that Mac is in the perfect system for a starting rookie; his only job is to avoid costly mistakes.  It's seems obvious that he'll get better with more experience.  If he does earn the "Brady 2.0" title some day, Belichick should get the credit.

Mac Jones did not give my team more fantasy points as I speculated despite the hype on him after Thursday’s game. He gave me less hehe. He was projected to make 16 points, however, gave only 10.38. I reckon Covid Cam can make better than 10.38 if he is qb1 on Sunday.
You can bet on him Vulturing as many of CMC's TD's as possible.

I'd be astonished and amazed if they get to one in the next 3 years, but it would be pretty cool.

Honestly and hate yo say this new England has a chance to make the dance again.  Their defense is sick, Belicheck has them firing away.  And Mac doesn't make a single mistake as a rookie, what an excellent answer for Brady leaving.  Think they have their qb for the next 10-15 years.

Side note...Khalil Mack out for the year with the foot injury.  Big loss for the Bears D, he was having a great year.

Lets not get all excited, that was the falcons they faced after all. Cheesy

Yeah Mack is a huge loss.

Yeah but they’ve been playing well, and seem to be putting together a nice little team. No super bowl chances or anything but building something seeming legit for the future.

Yeah losing Mack kills us, but it’s not like we were heading to the playoffs anyhow. Some people were even calling for him to be traded being that the bears are at least a few years away from any playoff success and that it might just be better to get draft picks and rebuild the so so D. Unfortunately that now won’t be an option for some time.

They could have a playoff chance next year if they can keep the guys they've been developing healthy.

WEEK 11 here we go...

I can't wait for the 28-3 reference being brought up and spammed to death throughout tonight's broadcast. IIRC it was Buck and Aikman on the call in SB LI, so no way around it lol (not a Falcons fan). I won't be surprised if they have a whole 2-3 minute segment on the subject in-between commercials/quarters.
Unfortunately for the falcons that is the kind of defeat that never goes away, they could seriously decrease the number of times this is brought up with a SB win, but even then the stain will remain unless they can get a win that is just as spectacular at the SB, while not in the same proportion this is similar to what happened to the Oilers when they lost to the Bills by allowing the biggest comeback ever to a backup QB, and it was not until the Oilers moved to a different city and changed their name to the Titans in which they could avenge that defeat with the Music City Miracle.

Btw, Antonio Brown's fake COVID-19 vax cards rumor better not be true, i have big plans for him, he is supposed to be my league winner down the stretch.
According to Rapoport the Bucs inspected every single card given to them by their players and they found no irregularity on the vaccination card of Antonio Brown, so it seems your winning strategy is still in place.

@suchmoon. You reckon the bubble pop has begun? The bear season might have arrived earlier hehehe.

Yep. Bitcoin is definitely dead for real this time, only 2x up this year. I'm selling everything and buying Bears season tickets.

LOL hey now, back off my Bears  Cheesy

Ugh god, just got the notification on my phone that Robert Woods is now out for the year after reading he tore his ACL in practice. Man, it’s one thing to tear it in a game, but in practice, that really freaking stings. Am the total point leader in my league but after losing Henry and now Woods, it’s safe to say my season is over in that league  Angry  Cry
Sorry to hear that if I remember correctly you also have or had Ridley right? Those injuries are more than enough to derail a FF season no matter how good you are.

Yeah within a matter of just a couple weeks I lost Ridley, Henry, Michael Thomas, now Robert Woods..all star players of course.  Its been a really rough season when it comes to injuries, and not just injuries but season ending injuries.  I mean Henry is the best player in fantasy hands down, and even though Ridley and Woods weren't top 3-4 guys, they were up there and had plenty of potential for the rest of the year.  Mostly a lost year for me.

Great game last night, why did I only put $25 on the Patriots, I know better than that!

I changed my quarterback from Tom Brady to Mac Jones only as a trial if I can win more points for this week. I speculate better performaces from Mac Jones for the rest of the weeks left which might win him rookie of the year.

@morvillz7z. The NFL should accept that the vaccines do not work and breakout infections will increase. They should stop bothering players about vaccines.
