Hmmm... maybe I should have put Deebo in flex. Oh well.

Yeah, he's had a great game.  I'm hoping my gamble on Pat's D against Miami was a good call, my other option was Pittsburg, and they held my QB and one of my receivers to a total of 24 points.

Danm, now the Niners seem to be doing everything they can to lose this game after scoring 41 points.  WTF!  Picking up Goff doesn't seem so crazy now.

Just a heads up on Swift, Willaims will be starting and carrying the load today.
I was not planning on starting the dude at all as he is playing against a healthy SF defense, and even if the game has not finished he is giving me more points than what Zeke gave during the full game against TB, and BTW what’s up with the SF defense? They were scoring 16 points at halftime and are at 13 right now, they are really playing against me at the moment, I just hope Detroit can score some more TDs so their score drops a little bit.

And BTW the wheelz team looks scary as hell.

NFL experts, do RB1 players always play for the whole game or does the coach let the RB2 have some time on the field also?

A few downs but not many usually, maybe up to 25% -- unless they are underplaying the RB1 after a minor injury.

I have a problem. Austin Ekeler is questionable according to ESPN and all of my replacements on the bench are only RB2. Trey Sermon, Javonte Williams and Jamaal Williams. Should I trust the projections and choose Javonte Williams as replacement?

In my experience Q almost always means "they're fine." This is not true 100% of the time but if they have projected points, there's a very high chance they're playing.

Bucs were far from favorites at the start of the last season. It wasn't until about 10 games in that I started paying attention to them and if I recall correctly, even in the playoffs bookies still favored Saints to win the conference. Bucs peaked at a perfect time. I don't think this is going to work out so perfectly (underestimated by opponents, minimal injuries, etc) for them this year, but they do have one of the easiest schedules in the league. Well, allegedly. Cowboys were supposed to be easy.

Speaking of Saints, apparently they're playing against Packers this weekend... in Jacksonville. This is gonna be a tough year for them.

The bucs, first game they will clean that up for sure.  What this showed me was with almost double the possession and getting 4 turnovers they still couldn't beat the bucs.  Normally if you post those 2 stats it's a blowout by the one team.
This is what is so scary about the Bucs, I remember after the SB people were commenting about the perfect game the Bucs played and I could not stop thinking what game they saw? The offense turned over the ball on downs on the goal line, the center made a mistake and forced Brady to fall over the ball forcing them to go for a FG, Brady was more interested in killing clock than scoring during most of the 3rd and 4th quarter and the defense missed at least two interceptions, so they beat the Chiefs that badly while playing at maybe 80% of their true potential.

I read a statistic that no team had ever won when having a turnover difference of -3, more than 100 yards on penalties and their defense allowing so many yards, and yet the Bucs did, and if we watch the game they were never really in trouble until that last drive of Dallas, which by the way I am not so sure what were they thinking when going for the FG with so much time left, it was something like 4th and 6 so it was not an easy conversion but giving the ball to Brady with so much time left was the same as giving the game away, they should have gone for it and if they failed then nothing would have changed but if they did made it then they could have won that game, so if I was a Dallas fan I would blame McCarthy for the loss but not the kicker as realistically Dallas could have had 4 additional points and Brady would have just scored a TD instead of going for a FG.

What a crazy game, the TB offense played fine but they made too many mistakes, the TB defense on the other hand had too many injuries at safety and Dallas took advantage of it and passed the ball all the time, this played against me as I was thinking on starting Hunt but at the end decided to start Elliott and he did absolutely nothing, fortunately for me Gronk saved me with 21 fantasy points coming from my weakest position, so I still have a chance to win the first game.

Also Gus Edwards is out for the season, such a bad luck for the guy as he had a golden opportunity to show what he had, for me it is not as devastating as it could have been as I picked him on the 6th round, but he was without a doubt my biggest hope to try to win the league.

Cornerback going out in the beginning of the game opened it up for the girls.  Dak picked on him all game.  The bucs, first game they will clean that up for sure.  What this showed me was with almost double the possession and getting 4 turnovers they still couldn't beat the bucs.  Normally if you post those 2 stats it's a blowout by the one team.  Zeke looked absolutely terrible.  Now Collins their starting rt is out 5 games for getting busted.  Don't think the girls are as good as everyone thinks.  Can see 7-10, 8-9 from them.

I don't think the Giants are as good as you think  Cheesy  Honestly though I'm not sure how you're doubting the Cowgirls after that performance.  I'm not saying that they are going to win the super bowl but that was one heck of a performance against the reigning champions.  Zeke should only get better, though I'm not sure he will ever be the Zeke of old again. I could see 8-9 wins.  Certainly better than my bears are going to be.

I missed the game, had some plans with friends last night.  Everybody was talking about it at work today, so I'll check out the highlights when I get home.  It sounds like you guys enjoyed it too.  Football is officially here, yay!

After collecting points from Tom Brady, can I put him on the bench and replace him with Matthew Stafford or will that remove Brady’s points?

 Shocked

Damn, you greedy!  Tongue

Good FF day for Brady, congratulations on that.  I'm glad that I started Amari Cooper.  I was seriously concerned that the Buc's D was going to keep a lid on him, but he scored nearly three times ESPN's projections.

Gronk Smash!!!

Lol, quite impressive stats for a tight end.

What an opening game last night!  I had pretty much figured that the Bucs would end up destroying the Cowboys but have to give credit where credit is due, Dallas came out to play and Dak looked really good last night.  It was amazing that he had 50 pass attempts with 11 minutes to go in the the 4th quarter lol

Did you guys catch the Tom Brady FTX Commercial?! It played twice during the game- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shVpqXNso2A

I was expecting a lop-sided victory also, and was pissed when I checked the score after getting home last night.  I put a tiny bet on a series of props, and the Cowgirls fucked up two of them for me.  I'd rather see two good teams knock each other around in a close match than watch one team run away with it.

Could not have scripted a better opener!

It was alot of fun and was a great choice to kick off the year.

I'm glad the spread jumped to 9 as it stopped me from taking it at 7!

Dak has a real easy schedule this year so I wouldn't be surprised if they make the playoffs.

Bucs WR/TE corp are a serious cheat code! How they can fit that much talent under their cap is a mystery!

Yeah that commercial was pretty funny, at least he didn't shill a shitcoin!

I don't think there is any question that the Bucs have the best offense of all time.  There has never been a core of wide receivers and tight ends like that ever before.  Antonio Brown and Mike Evans could very well end up in the HOF, Chris Godwin has the makings to possibly end up there, Gronk is of course already set for the HOF, and then you've got Cameron Brate whos solid as well as OJ Howard who has massive upside potential if he can just stay healthy.  Then you've got guys like Scotty Miller who are decent.  The running backs aren't super stars, but are very solid.  Gio Bernard was a great addition, filling that James White type of role..only making them better than they were last year which is mind blowing.  They are able to fit it all under the cap because guys took lower deals to make it work.  Antonio Brown is only making 3 mill guaranteed and 6 max..which he's easily worth 3 times that..of course they got him at a discount due to all his troubles.  I'm not sure we will ever see an offense like this again.

After collecting points from Tom Brady, can I put him on the bench and replace him with Matthew Stafford or will that remove Brady’s points?

You will be able to move your players around for next week's game but you can't double dip this week by moving people who already played.

And by next week I mean starting next Tuesday or Wednesday or whenever the cut off is. Monday's game is still "this" week.

Once a game with a player starts that position is locked for the week.

Well, I managed to get less points with two WRs than some of you did with one. Could be worse though, could have negative points  Cool

Edit: or could have left 14 points on the bench... that would suck too Grin

You have 18.8 points and was forecasted 19.9 so not too bad,

Your still foretasted to win this week by 5.1 pts.

BUT I SHALL CATCH  UP !!!!

I played AB in a league you get extra points for 40+ yard receptions. Cheesy

Nice halftime score!

Fantasy experts, would I have collected more points for Antonio Brown if he was not on the bench?

Also, if I want to make a trade, can I pick any player or can I only pick a player that has been picked by the members in our league?

@suchmoon. Agreed. However, it was not good for anyone who picked the Cowboy’s kicker hehe.

Unfortunately you don't get any points for people on your bench only those you played this week.
But now you know to play AB next week! Good pick!

That was a very big mistake. This would have added 18 more points for my team! I did not check anything before the game started.
