One thing about fantasy football that I learned early on was to never play with your heart but only your head.

True, its just annoying because it usually means my players are scattered among several different teams, some of which I would otherwise have absolutely no interest in. Ultimately, its one of the good things about FF tho because it forces me to learn about other teams. Every bit of extra knowledge can help when it comes to placing bets I've learned.

The only other option I have is Cordarrelle Patterson, who I just picked up on waiver.
I picked up Patterson as well on my other team and I'm gonna plug him in for Gordon this week.
I think I like to gamble too much!

I'm trying to find a way to put him my lineup this week, he's up against the Giants' D so he should have a good game.

Honestly the giants d isn't that bad.  They gave up one big play to melin Gordon in week one but otherwise pretty stout.  It's their offense which is pathetic (for now).  I have Mike Davis in another league and trying to figure that one out too since atlantas offense is pretty much terrible.  The joys of ff as the weeks go by Smiley

1. The Moon Coiners win – The Moon Coiners outrank the Mars Elon Muks
2. The Mars Elon Muks win and do so with a margin of less than 65.16 fantasy points – The Moon Coiners outrank the Mars Elon Muks due to the first tie breaker criteria.
3. The Mars Elon Muks win and do so with a margin of exactly 65.16 fantasy points – The Mars Elon Muks outrank the Moon Coiners due to the second tie breaker criteria.
4. The Mars Elon Muks win and do so with a margin of more than 65.16 fantasy points – The Mars Elon Muks outrank the Moon Coiners due to the first tie breaker criteria.

Great, thank you. This may get more convoluted if Tamalpais Temptations wins - we might have a three-way tie breaker.

In either case it looks like even if I lose I might still get stuck with the 7th wire pick. Ugh.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Ah yes, the battle for the division lead... I think. Not sure exactly how tiebreakers work here.
Regular season tie breakers

1. No tie breakers

Basically if a match ends with both teams scoring the same amount of fantasy points, then the game is a tie and it is reflected as such in the standings.

Playoff tie breakers

1. Total Points Scored
2. Head-to-Head Record
3. Record in the Division
4. Total Points Against
5. Coin Flip

Right now the Moon Coiners have scored 65.16 more fantasy points and received 12.46 more fantasy points than the Mars Elon Muks so there are 4 scenarios for your match of this week.

In retrospect I think you should have gone with your gut. Cheesy

Make sure to advise DireWolfM14 to keep Rodgers on the bench this week Smiley

I'm tempted to bench Aaron Jones.  I would hate to win my fantasy game at the expense of watching my Niners lose.

Niners D is solid This is definitely the week to bench Jones.

The brutality of fantasy football.  As a giant fan I try to steer clear of every player (as much as I can) from the NFL east.  Don't want giants players in case they suck then I'm twice as pissed, and can't root for sheagle, cowgirl or foreskin players.  But when in doubt go fantasy guy go!! Lol.

I've decided to stream Danial Jones this week, should be interesting if nothing else. Cheesy

If you are going to play Daniel Jones this is the week.  Should be easy pickings through the air and he should have a decent run day as well.  The bonus will be if he can rush on in himself which provides a nice bump in points for qb.  It's now or never for the giants so he should be up for it.

I am against a very good team on week 3. The Mooncoiners! You might have this season’s MVP with Lamar, however, he cannot play when he is 100 years old like Brady hehehe.

Ah yes, the battle for the division lead... I think. Not sure exactly how tiebreakers work here.

Anyway, Lamar is quite volatile, he can easily bust even against the Lions, and Damien Harris just got a "Q". I don't have a good feeling about this. Brady's gonna do the Brady thing, he's still got like 10 guys he can pass the ball to even if Antonio Brown is out.

One thing about fantasy football that I learned early on was to never play with your heart but only your head. My first year or two I was drafting guys way too early like Brandon Jacobs because he went to college with me and Pierre Thomas because I knew him personally, and while I love those guys, I could have done better in my drafts.  Same goes for the Bears...it's just too much stress to lose in FF, then see the Bears lose and then be double pissed at them lol.

I dropped some nonperforming assets and added Henry Ruggs, Zack Moss, Darnell Mooney and Tee Higgins. I hope the Qs are only minor injuries by Sunday.

Also, Texans +8 in their home stadium with fans and with David Mills who might be an underestimated quarter back. Should I bet this? It might also be under 42.5 points.

I like how ESPN gives us lines on our fantasy games so that way we can be super degen and bet on them. I would take Taco Corp at +13.5 against wheelz, who wants my action, lol. On second thought thats a pretty dangerous bet.

he's up against the Giants' D

Never a good place to be.

Lol, I'm truly torn over it.  On one hand I do expect the 9ers to shutdown the run game early on, forcing the pass game.  But on the other hand; last week Jones' production was mostly check-down receptions, three of them for TDs.  Rodgers will always have 33 as the outlet if there are no downfield options.  I don't expect production like last week (at least I hope not,) but if he meets his projections I'll be happy.  The only other option I have is Cordarrelle Patterson, who I just picked up on waiver.

The 9ers have a way of getting into Rodgers' head, he hasn't had a lot of success in San Francisco.  We'll see, how he does tomorrow, but I think I'll stick with Allen for one more week before I decide to trade him for Daniel Jones...   Angry

NFL fantasy experts, who would you choose to have in your flex? Corey Davis or Terry McLaurin? My first choice is Corey Davis because it appears that there is a good partnership beginning to form with Zach Wilson. However, the Jets will be playing against the Patriots. Terry McLaurin I like also, however, the Redskins are playing their qb2 and the partnership might not be good as Wilson and Davis partnership. Who would you choose?

Who are 49ers fielding against Green Bay on Sunday, do they even have healthy RBs left on their roster?

BTW I was setting my choices for the waiver wire when I realized the priority order was all wrong, the ESPN website is kind of clunky when it comes to select the players you want for the waiver wire so I was thinking on doing it all over again when I realized you can change the order to whatever you want, just go to My Team->Pending Orders and you will see your waiver wire moves and the order in which they will be executed, to change the order just click and drag & drop your selection were you want it, I know for the experts this is probably not new but maybe the rest of the newbies will find this useful.

ESPN used to be a great site for Fantasy sports.  I used to really dislike yahoo and only ran my leagues on ESPN. Over the years however Yahoo has easily taken over as the better of the sites.  There are other decent sites out there, I hear a lot of good things about "Sleeper".

EDIT: & by the way I agree with you guys about the Peyton & Eli show on ESPN2.  That is really fun to watch! Unless the Chicago Bears are playing, I will definitely be watching that over the regular broadcast.

Boooo this man!! Boooooo  Cheesy

I hope those of you who were considering bench superstars like AJ Brown and especially Aaron Jones did not.  AJ Brown didn't have the best game ( much better games ahead for him) but Corey Davis had an even worse game.  This is why you never sit your superstars no matter what, or who they are facing.  Hope everyone had a good week of fantasy.  I finally had a bit of a bounce back week myself.

Hehehe I listened to your advice master. However, I had no choice because A.J. Brown is my only performing wide receiver. Anthonio Brown was always ignored by Brady on week 2. I reckon I am only lucky with McLaurin. He might be 0 points on week 3.

Good I am glad to hear it!  I also own Aaron Jones but by the time the Monday night game came around, I had already more than wrapped up my game.  Plus I also had Hockenson which piled on even more so. If you ever need any advice or suggestions feel free to DM anytime.  That goes for any of you who are not as familiar with Fantasy Football or just want to bounce some ideas off someone who half way knows what they are doing.  Smiley

And again I got almost completely shut out of the wire. Oh well. Fingers crossed that none of my regulars get into trouble.

Also it's my own fault that I cocked up the IR and let Hollywood go when I shouldn't have.
