Testing the waters with a few player prop bets for today:

J. Hurts 1+ Pass TD; D. Smith 4+ receptions @1.83 X

DeVonta Smith finished with the most targets and receptions for his team against the Falcons last week. I don't see anything change, he should see his fair share of targets vs. the 49ers who allowed 38 completions and 330+ pass yards to Goff, obviously not great stats.

Browns O20.5 total pts; K. Hunt 15+ receiving yards @1.80 X

I see the Browns beat the shit out of the Texans, and they should easily cover the 2 TD spread they currently have, but i'm going with their total points instead. Texans allowed three touchdowns to a trash team like the Jaguars last week, so there's no way the Browns don't score at least three as well. Kareem Hunt had 28 rec yards on three targets against the Chiefs, so 15 rec yards seems like a really good number to me. Texans allowed almost 50 rec yards to Robinson and Hyde.

Broncos ml + Patriots ml @1.90

Teams significantly decrease their chances of making the playoffs if they start 0-2, so this is a must-win for the Patriots. I don't think the Jets pose that many threats to them either. A non-existent running game and a fairly predictable passing game with Corey Davis being their only capable receiver. Patriots or nothing for me.

@nutildah. You reckon the Vikings will not react and try to win in their home stadium, in front of their own fans after a loss on the road? Also, Vikings defense might be better than Cardinals’ last team played against in Tennessee and Kirk Cousins might be the better quarterback than Kyler Murray?

Its a home game for Arizona. Cousins had a decent first game, and its not really his fault they lost, but I expect Murray to make quick work of the Vikings defense. I went big and placed 6 bets on the game: one for Ari to score first, one for Ari to cover, and 4 prop bets covering their win from 1-23 points.

Congrats on winning the big season opener, it was a tight race for a while but a deserved W on your behalf.

I'm not letting it set the tone for my season, even though I also lost with my other team, which also has Henry dammit. A fluke to be sure. I'll be back!!

This week I'm going big on Arizona to at least cover. That almost seems like a gimme at home against the Vikings, even at -3.5. I don't see a reason why they won't win by at least 7.

I clearly followed it and it was certainly a very good advice hehehe. Thank you @Hueristic.

However, in my team I cannot stop looking at Corey Davis. I want to replace AJ Brown with him because the Titans like to run the ball more with Derrick Henry than passing the ball to the wide receivers. Should I do it?

Sorry, I don't know.

And about the game which was played yesterday, I will say that at least the NFC East has improved, last year the games I got to watch were really boring, this game was exciting and it was not decided until the last play of the game, however I did not like the play calling after the Heinicke interception, the first two plays seemed as if the Giants just wanted the WFT to burn their timeouts, it seemed to me as if Garret was coaching scared so they failed to get a first down and gave too much time to the WFT to try to win the game.

In a game like this, coaches play a very important role. It's like they are the enabler of a team. A Players' playing good or bad on a certain day might just totally depend on the coach's speech. And when the coach isn't sure what play to make, it's obvious that the team will crumble under pressure. Probably if he did his freaking job right, the results of the game could have been different. I am not saying the result would have been absolutely the opposite, but it could certainly be different.

It looked to me like Giants time management was beyond pathetic and they were trying to throw away their timeouts.

I would seriously consider Swift over Zeke.

Kamara is D proof and Carolina is brutal vs a rb like Carson but a catch and run back is safe vs them anyway.
I have been thinking about it, however Swift is once again marked as questionable so I will probably take the decision until Sunday.

It must be real torture to be a Giants fan at times like these, what a way to lose the ball game. That offside penalty was a knife to the heart. Slayton not being able to catch that ball with 6 mins left to seal the game, i mean dude was wide open, there was no one around him, and he just couldn't catch it.  Lips sealed

I'm glad to see Barkley playing nearly 90% of the snaps, especially on a short week. He just had one nice run, so it wasn't a stellar fantasy performance, but that was to be expected. I just couldn't bench him, don't like to play scared. Week 3 against the Falcons should be much better, with the Falcons playing back-to-back road games and the Giants having a couple of more days to rest and prepare. 15 carries, 100 yards and a TD would be nice! #unleashed Grin

I had a small same-game parlay win, kinda bummed out that i didn't go with Jones rush TD, which had 2x better odds. He could have finished with two if it hadn't been for the offensive holding call, which i thought was very questionable.

Odell Beckham has been ruled out for the game of this week again, this is why I did not wanted to draft the guy as he is injury prone but I suppose I will keep holding him until he can play as I am not convinced by the replacements I could take out of FA.

But despite this I would have to say FF is really fun, it really adds more excitement to the games as now there is something at stake, this week I have to face the wheelz super team but at least I am glad I can do so before the BYE weeks come so I can face them with my full squad and the OPRK of most of my starters is low, except for Kamara but I am not sending to the bench my first pick on the draft.

I don't know who your other backs are but there is no way I'd bench Aaron Jones ever.  He is a sold rb1 almost every week.  The Packers all just sucked, it happens.  Jones will get his ff points all year.  If you don't mind me asking what rbs you have in that league?

Melvin Gordon III
Phillip Lindsay
Tony Jones Jr.
Le'Veon Bell
Cordarrelle Patterson

Yeah I'm with Wheelz on this one.  The packers had a crazily unexpected game this opening week and Aaron Jones is a must start week in and week out, especially considering who your other running backs are.  I also have Jones in one of my leagues and it was certainly a disappointing opening game for him, but they will bounce back.  I lost a few bucks on that game too..I don't know how in the hell Vegas knew that game wouldn't be the packers kicking the Saints asses...certainly what I expected having a new QB and all and esp one who's super erratic.

NFL fantasy experts, who would you choose to have in your flex? Corey Davis or Terry McLaurin? My first choice is Corey Davis because it appears that there is a good partnership beginning to form with Zach Wilson. However, the Jets will be playing against the Patriots. Terry McLaurin I like also, however, the Redskins are playing their qb2 and the partnership might not be good as Wilson and Davis partnership. Who would you choose?

The only week you should bench Jones is when he is on a bye.  Yes there might be one week that one of those bench players would score more but at the end of the season Jones (possibly gordon) will have by far the most total ff points out of those running backs.  Gordon was help with one long run against my stanky giants team.

In actuality if I had another option I would sit him for a week while GB gets their shit together. But as you can see everything I have is either a committee back or a backup so I really don't even have the choice of taking a chance. If I had Latavious I might even play him this week. Either way its moot he won't give me 1.7 points again this week and hopefully will at least get one in the end zone. But I seriously think Greenbays problems are deep rooted and are not going to get fixed for at least the next few weeks. Just the look on rogers face spoke volumes.

And Yeah seeing Gordon bust off that run and vindicate my pick of him early in my drafts really made my day. Smiley
