Someone drafted Trevor Lawrence before me. I am not sure if he was drafted before old man Brady or after him. I reckon he will be needing someone young because his knees might not handle a whole season. He is 43 years old?

That was me. I think it was many rounds after you got the old man. My primary is Lamar. I don't know how much sense it makes to have a backup QB but we'll see.

Hehehe okay. I liked my pick on Brady, however, after some rounds I remembered Manny Pacquiao. I thought that there might be a possbility of his decline this season. My first choice was for a reserve was Trevor Lawrence, second choice Stafford. Stafford might have a good year for fantasy according to experts.

No, you should absolutely drop Stafford, he's horrible and doesn't have a chance on the Rams. Hell he's got all those shitty receivers and such a weak O-line I don't know why anyone drafted him. Wink

According the NFL expert Stephen A. Smith, he said that Stafford will be good with the Rams and he also said that Stafford has better players around him than what he had in Detroit. His words and enthusiasm made it appear that he is a must have.

Haha, I'm busting your balls kiddo!

He should be fine. Smiley

But I don't expect them in the Superbowl, thats for sure.

I'm not sure I would call Stephen A. Smith an expert at anything other than being a loud mouth obnoxious ass commentator.  I have never found him or his old buddy Skip Bayless to be anything more than a clown show.  However I do pretty much agree with him.  He does have better players around him but not much better.  I'm not sure Cooper Kupp or Robert Woods are better players than Kenny Golladay and I'm not sure if they are much better than Marvin Jones Jr.  He also had TJ Hockenson who's a stud Tight End.  That said the Rams are a better team and organization and he SHOULD certainly have more success there than he really ever had in Detroit.

Did it again.  Was down in the casinos last night and couldn't resist.  Threw some more dough on the giants to win the division. At 4.5-1 odds it was too much for me not to.  Looks like Zach Martin, cowboys best online man is out so that is going to be a super tough game against the Bucs.  Easy 0-1 to start the season.

Get a grip on yourself man!  Cheesy  ( boy am I really going to feel stupid if by some miracle the Giants end up pulling off this division).  I guess there is some good news for you Giants fans, word is Barkley may be starting week 1, which obviously makes them an entirely different team with him in the lineup.  Yet and still...I'm taking the Cowboys and WFT in that division.  If you do win on those bets however, are you willing to share a little with me...all this moral support I'm providing and all?!

As a nearly full-time Rams fan I'm pretty disappointed with this outcome, and they are pretty damn lacking in the 2nd and 3rd string positions as well. Gonna try to go with as many KC players as possible in my second league and perhaps adopt them as my team to root for this year. If the Chargers or Raiders show sparks of being interesting, I'll be following them as well.

I was once again looking at the draft and it is incredible how things can change in a single round, round 11 was the one that really forced me to change my plan, before the draft I was thinking on picking a defense and a kicker a round earlier and with my last pick I would pick Fitzpatrick, but then nutildah picked a defense, then others did the same and wheelz picked TJ and then in that round I picked Kareem Hunt which I never picked during the mock drafts as in most of them I had Chubb.

I mention this as I saw the waiver and I saw you trying to pick Fitzpatrick and this reminded me of my failed strategy, and BTW it seems that we were targeting many of the same players as I think I blocked you from picking Gronk and Wilson.

Yeah. you blocked me on a few guys! Cheesy

nice job.

I still think we need another flex spot.

So looks like That Moron Cam couldn't even learn the playbook and the rookie was trying to help him!
The exact opposite of what was supposed to be happening. I can't believe how many Cam lovers out there have no clue what a worthless piece of garbage that guy is.

Does not really surprise me, Cam has not been a football player which also happens to be an influencer for a long time, he is an influencer that also plays football, he is not committed to the sport and this is problematic not only because he does not study as he should but also because the guy could get seriously injured by someone which actually takes the sport seriously. But anyway the guy is out of NE and that is what matters.

So I noticed this guy Trey Lance sitting on the waiver wire looking all lonely and shit and said Hey, I got a bench spot maybe I'll give that poor guy a home!

So I heard this guy is pretty good, how come he was on the wire when all you guys drafted two QB's Huh

He fractured his index finger on his throwing hand, so he's listed as out for the opener.  Not to mention that Garoppolo is listed as the starter, and rightly so.  When Garoppolo is healthy the 9ers win games, and unless he goes down I don't think Shanahan will make Lance the starter this year.  I hope that's the way it plays out, anyway.  I have a lot of hope for Lance's future with the team, but I do believe he'll be better off taking a year to learn the offence.  Shanahan's playbook is intricate and extensive, so at this point Garoppolo's knowledge of the offence is the only thing I see standing in the way of Lance becoming the starter.  I believe Lance is smart enough to get a grasp of it soon enough to play this year, but I'm guessing a healthy Garoppolo will keep the job.  If you have an open bench spot, it might be a gamble worth taking.  I certainly would have considered taking him later in the season depending on how Garoppolo plays.

Why does that not surprise me?  Cam has always been a natural athletic scrambler, but that only takes you so far in the NFL.  And at his age, it's obvious he can't rely on his athletic ability anymore.  I don't know if he's incapable or just unwilling to put in the effort in to learn how to lead an offense.  Obviously that's not going to fly with Belichick, or many other coaches.  I predict he's seen his last snap in the NFL.

With just 4 days left before the start of the NFL-2021 season,
Still I can remember that 5th turnover in last year's Steelers vs Browns match. First, I assumed Browns would lose, but Steelers weren't paying attention to the Browns and Cleveland Browns was trying to get that win and was playing like that. then I didn't think the Steelers would lose so badly. Steelers could have scored a few more points, but it turned out that the game was over before the 2nd half, and the Browns won that match by a huge margin of 48-37.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
The season is about to start and now it comes the time to take some important decisions, I am really happy with my RBs I think that was the best part of my draft, however I am thinking on sending Ezekiel Elliot to the bench and play Gus Edwards instead as I have the feeling that TB is going to destroy the Dallas defense and on the second half they will begin to throw the ball all over the place to catch up and will forget about the running game, this is good for those which drafted Dak, Lamb and Copper but not for me.

And about the TE position, I have a lot of options but I still think I am going to play Gronk. Roll Eyes

I'm finding the same issue, I can't believe I'm going to have Thielen ride the bench! Amazing having Zek ride the bench when he's healthy but I see your logic. Also it may very well take a few weeks for the cowgirls to get their act together this year. Gus won't have much in the way of competition and should get a ton of work on a team that loves to pound the ball.

I have a feeling Gronk is going to come out like gangbusters after his superbowl success.
I bet he really misses those accolades from years past.
The only question is is his body up to it?

NFL's Baltimore Ravens wide receiver "James Proche" has been fined 4567 US dollars. The NFL has been mentioned as a reason for this, Proche is liable for his 'unscrupulous behavior'. But the very interesting fact is, he was not shown any penalty flags on the field. Tongue

Meanwhile, Proche's teammate "Tylan Wallace" was shown a penalty flag while celebrating his touchdown. But he was not fined despite being shown the flag, lol.  Cheesy

Well clearly I wouldn't put much stock into this because this is wrong: there's no way wheelz and I can both be #1 and #2, because we're in the same division. So you can still fantasize about being #2 and wheelz will have to be #3 obviously.

Obviously by that logic I am number 7!

I shall fantasize accordingly. Cheesy

Edit: Just realized the East division is completely stacked and I have the worst chances to make the playoffs, we have not even began playing and I am already close to being eliminated, so unless my sleepers hit and Wilson can play the whole season and not just the first half then it is already game over for me. Sad

Lol, those projections will change week to week.  It looks like you have about as much chance to make the playoffs as anyone in the western conference.  Our chances are all below 50%.

Wheelz and Nutildah had a great draft, but I'm satisfied with mine. I had planned to draft another RB with my third pick, but took Metcalf instead, and was tempted by Allen for my fourth pick.  I should have compensated on the next round, but again temptations got in the way.  None the less, I think I'm in a good position.  Realistically, it's hard to screw up a draft with only 8 players in the league. Next year I'll make a point of mimicking wheelz and drafting RBs in the first three rounds.
