Fantasy experts, would I have collected more points for Antonio Brown if he was not on the bench?

Yes, you would have collected his points if you had started him. Notice how you can't change your lineup now, but you will be able to after the Monday night game ends. You will want to change your lineup - possibly every week - based on who your players are matched up against (or if they have a bye week).

So for now, there's no way to have known New Antonio Brown would have done this well - I guess unless you were really paying attention - so I wouldn't worry about it. You might consider putting him in next week, especially if you have an under-performer in the WR department that needs to be replaced.

Also, if I want to make a trade, can I pick any player or can I only pick a player that has been picked by the members in our league?

You can propose trades for any drafter player. If you want to pick up an undrafted player, click Add Players to bring up the free agent list. You just need to drop a player each time you pick up a new one.

However, it was not good for anyone who picked the Cowboy’s kicker hehe.

I just checked and we were all smart enough to avoid Zurlein, so good job everybody.

Haha. And Tom Brady just did a commercial for FTX. Maybe he'll become a shitcoin whale after he retires, just for the lols.

I played AB in a league you get extra points for 40+ yard receptions. Cheesy

Nice halftime score!

@suchmoon. Agreed. However, it was not good for anyone who picked the Cowboy’s kicker hehe.

Unfortunately you don't get any points for people on your bench only those you played this week.
But now you know to play AB next week! Good pick!

No the points you see for your guys on the bench are the same if you would have started them.  Brown is going off.  If you want a player that no one owns you can drop one of your players and add them onto.your team.  If someone else owns a player you want then you will have to propose a trade with them.

Damn the Raven are fucked 3 Starting RB's out for the season before opening kickoff, that has to be a record!

I just scooped up Bell in another league.

Bad luck S.Park but you'll push through I'm sure.

Taco Corp Scooped up Ty'Son Williams

Lamar is going to get all the meaningful rushes in the red zone.  They aren't going to lean on a 3rd/4th running back in goal to go situations when you got Lamar.  Definately a wierd fantasy situation now in that backfield.

Probably not for the first few weeks but when the new lineup is straightened out those guys have serious up potential.

@Hueristic. Agreed. However, I know I was not going to win when I joined this fantasy league vs. you experts hehe. I only wanted to try and bring more excitement for this season. I also cannot stop checking my team and read the news. NFL news has replaced my addiction for cryptonews hehehehe.

@wheelz1200.
You need to think of Fantasy Football in the same way we think about poker, poker is a game of skill in which luck is a prominent factor while chess is a game of skill in which the luck factor is not present at all in the game itself, so even a newbie can beat a world champion at poker as long as they hit the right cards, but if we let them play for long enough eventually the skill of the best player will show up and they will win, Fantasy is the same, we are at a disadvantage but a few lucky breaks could be all what is needed to win the whole thing.

Edit: And just like that my luck has taken a turn for the worse as Gus Edwards suffered a knee injury and it seems it is serious.

Wow guys down for the count that isn't good.  They are down to their 3rd and 4th stringers.  You can probably bet Lamar will be the run game.  He should probably be good for 40-80 yards rushing per game and get a lot of red zone run designed plays.  Health is a huuuuge part of the ff season.  Sorry to hear SP.

Anybody putting a bet down on today's action? The spread is at nine points now. I'm pretty sure Bucs are gonna win, but by 9? Hmm... Cowboys were 6-10 last year and looking at the depth chart, not a whole lot has changed. It will be nice having something to look forward to either way.

Dammit I thought about it yesterday when it was 7 but was too lazy to set it up and 9 is a big jump from 7 for a prime time game. They tend to be close to keep the fans happy not that I think the refs are managing the score or anything. Wink

Mike Evans Anytime

Mike Evans MANY MANY times please. That's my only hope for this week LOL.

As for betting I put money on Bucs, Bills, 49ers, Ravens, Packers, and Jaguars but I'll probably hit no more than 3 of those. First game is my least favorite to bet on, it's a... gamble I guess you could say Grin.

You may have really lucked out if Godwin is limited, I pulled him out of the lineup just because hes an unknown right now but if he is limited or doesn't play Evans will get saturated!

You've been forecasted to win the whole way, this only helps you. Wink

Matthew berry lol.  He definately sits at the bottom of his fantasy league year after year.  People like him sway the rankings and year in year out they are wrong.  This year will be no different.  There will be complete busts in the 2/3 round and there will be steals in the late rounds.  Imagine drafting James Robinson or Justin Jefferson late and tagging them with Josh Allen last year.  Same this year, beery is a buffoon.
It bothers me that that guy has one of the coolest jobs in the world and it couldn't be worse at it.  I mean he has absolutely no clue what he's talking about.  He's always wrong, and clearly doesn't learn from his past mistakes.  That whole Fantasy Football Now show has gone completely downhill after brining in a couple other turds.  I can't stand any of them and it's clearly they don't understand the game.

A least he's providing some fun content for us. I want what he thinks when he talks about the rankings. Maybe he just thinks that he should make one doesn't matter what are the odds. Of course, people can be wrong but maybe not like this guy. Now giving him even the benefit of the doubt seems doubtful. His words had like the investment from which you know you will get no returns from.

Opening night is finally here! Finally nfl off-season is officially over.  Got the bucs heavy in this one.  Dak coming off injury and first start back with his best olineman not playing.  I can see some dust coming from Dallas.  And we'll ypu can never bet against a Brady team especially on superbowl winning first ge of the year.  Wonder how many past superbowl winners lost their first game. 🤔

XLIX - Patriots - Patriots beat Steelers
XLVIII - Seahawks - Seahawks beat Packers

XLVI - Giants - Cowboys beat Giants

I was curious myself and checked the last 10. As it turns out only three teams have failed to win their opening game after winning the Super Bowl the year before.

Anyway, i'm super pumped for tonight's game, i see the Bucs win by a touchdown in a high-scoring affair. The loss of Zack Martin is a huge blow for the Cowboys, but i still think they can manage to put points on the board. I'm considering a few prop bets but haven't made up my mind yet, the most likely play for me is Mike Evans Anytime Score.

Oh man, you dropped Jameis Winston for Kirk Cousins already? Had you been drinking at the time??

J/K, I just ask because I was a fan of the team formerly known as Redskins in the post RG-III era. We had high hopes for him to be the rookie phenom to carry Washington to the playoffs -- well they did get to the Wild Card round in 2015. But anyway he folds under pressure and is forever on my blacklist.

I plan to stream QB's this year, remember it is all part of my master evil plan for world domination!

I always thought Kirk got let down by the Washington organization and he played respectable. I don't ever remember seeing him behind a line there where he had over a second and a half.

I literally will not watch ESPN because of the long list of turds they have there. that bald fuck that thinks he's a genius is just as bad, I don;t even know his name but he is always on right after a game talking about worthless college shit as if its the most important thing on the planet. The one that talks down to everyone.
