We cannot discount Mahomes, however this will have to be an even more efficient comeback than the one we saw in SB 51, if I remember correctly the score at the end of the 3rd quarter was 28-9
Here I was enjoying the moment, and you just had to bring up that painful memory, didn't you? Where's the de-merit button when you need it?
kidding, of courseSorry about that, I was talking about SB 51 but it seems I reminded you of SB 54, you are not alone, whenever someone reminds me of SB 42 and I remember that crazy helmet catch by David Tyree I get PSTD.
BTW to add a little bit to your spectacular post about scrambling QBs, Mahomes ran for 497 yards before making a pass or getting sacked according to Next Gen Stats, the most ever since they keep track of this statistic, so being able to run around means nothing if the OL cannot protect the QB.

I am sure you are not alone, this was supposed to be a SB for the ages, remember SB 49 and all the hype around it? It was the same situation, we had Wilson as the leader of the new potential dynasty looking to win back to back SBs and in front of him he had Brady, and the game lived up to the hype and had a movie ending that will probably never happen again.
So I think many, myself included, were expecting something like that and instead the Bucs destroyed the Chiefs in a manner we have never seen before.
