I've been thinking of doing this for a couple of years now, I think it'll be fun and may get more foreigners interested in football. Whenever jeremypwr posts a prediction contest during the season it seems to get a significant number of participants.

I hear ya man, they beat my ass last year too. I was near the bottom of the league, but I enjoyed a little shit talking and conversation in the discord channel as well as it made watching the games a little more interesting.

Draft to take place not at an ungodly hour, I'm in CET and I'm willing to cater to my USA friends but if I stay up to draft at midnight over here you guys should be able to draft at 6-7 in the evening Cheesy

I'm also fine doing 2 pools if some don't want to spend as much. Say a 2mBTC pool (main) and a 0.75mBTC pool. But having at least 10 people in pool should be main focus.

These are my suggestions, open to hear others but also interested in locking stuff in as we are getting close! 34 days until kick-off LFG

IN for 2 (lower cost and a higher one) or even 3 if you guys would like to play the style where you draft and then the best roster is played auto every week.

I think that would be a cool format to try.

Is everyone that played last year still interested? I haven't seen much action in this thread considering the season is so close, and some of those who participated last year have not mentioned weather they are interested.

Here were are, tonight the Chicago Bears play the Houston Texans in the kick off to the season game, the HOF game. Sure CJ Stroud and Caleb Williams and most starters will not be playing or might only play for a series or two, but it's still very exciting that there's an actual NFL game tonight and that of course means the regular season is just right around the corner!!

I think we are fortunate to have such a great bunch of guys in this league.

Not only that but this is the most fun league I have been in as it also has the most skilled players of any league I have ever played in.

I will not vote on the amount as I am good with whatever you guys settle on.

I do think though that 3rd place should receive their buy in back as really to make 3rd in this league is an accomplishment.

BTW just for as an aside I have never gotten third in all my time playing in any league, I usually get 2nd or am so far back I miss the playoffs. The last two seasons I have been extremely lucky.

Although I do think I made a spectacular draft last year.

I would hate to see anyone not be able to play because of the cost.

@bbc.reporter how does 0.0015 sound? Just save a bit from a couple weeks worth of sig campaign payments. I am not confident either but people its more fun when people take it more seriously because there's something somewhat substantial at stake.

Yahoo has served us well for the past two seasons, and we don't need to switch. Aside from the draft room, which feels a little cramped up, i don't find any serious issues with the website/app.

If we decide to vote on this, i recommend that everyone test Sleeper first (app and web), as it has a totally different vibe than Yahoo/ESPN. If you prefer classical layouts, Sleeper is not for you. I do a lot of mock drafts there, but i'm not sure if i want to play.

On Yahoo Fantasy, agreed. We should not change to another platform. We are familiar with it already.

Also, agreed to the other suggestion that @Hueristic should be the commissioner again.

OK How about just 0.002 BTC this year? That's still $134, a lot higher than our average buy-in.

WHatever works for everyone far as the buyin goes. Max .003 as I found out last year it's a lot tougher than I expected, so I don't wanna lose too much lol.
