I thought I would have one of the worst teams on week 1, however, my team is not performing that bad considering that Cooper Kupp is presently in IR. I am excited for week 2!

In any case watching this Cowboys more powerful defense to supplement their offense, the developing storyline will be from Dak to dominate NFC East, to win NFC and to fight for the Superbowl hehehe. This year's script will be about the Cowboys.

I might end up betting the Jets versus Bills game come Monday night (heck of a Monday night game!).  I think that's probably a smart bet, brand new team for Rodgers, could take some time to start to click.

I like the MNF game, but I'm tempted to put small bet on the Jets.  Maybe ML or +3.5, haven't decided yet.  Aaron Rodgers might be on a new team, but his connection with Garrett Wilson looks promising and he still has Lazard and Cobb.  New team or not, having familiar and trusted faces in the huddle goes a long way.  I don't think it'll take more than a few snaps before we see some magic from Rodgers and Wilson.  I'm curious to see how the O-Line holds up for him, though.

On the other hand, betting against Buffalo when it isn't snowing might not be the smartest move.  And I'm admittedly an AR fanboy so it would be wise to take my gambling advice as a shitshow on a popsicle stick.

Previous performance does not guarantee future results, and I'm hoping that's a good thing.  Grin

I think the bills are gonna come out and wreck the jets.  I'm gonna team the line up to -6.5 I think on the Bills.  Too much hype the online is gonna piss Roger's off can't wait til he starts yelling at all of them.  I have to find the over under on wins, I think jets are gonna go something like 8-9 or 7-10.  I'm not buying the hype.
Bills/Jets or GB/Chi are the 2 games I'm most interested in this weekend. Wanna see what Aaron rodgers does with these young bucs as well as what Jordan Love looks like as a starter.

Jets could definitely be a bust cause we seen last year that Rodgers will punish receivers if they drop a ball or run a wrong route. Dude's gotta have some trust, but we will see how it goes. I also think the Bills have their own struggles with Diggs being a diva, I don't feel like that drama is at it's end yet.

For me, the tastiest game looks like Bills / Jets, with Bills @ -2.5. I'm just remembering how awful Rodgers did in his opening game last year; now you put him in a new organization and up against one of the league's best teams... I should have taken -3 for some extra juice. Should be a pushover for Monday night.

Fantasy-wise, I'm compelled to root for the Eagles this year since I have 3 players on that team, Brown, Goedert and Rashad Penny.

-2.5 Bengals over Cleveland. I love the Browns this year, but Cincy is elite.

I also like this one. Line is currently -2 Bengals, might throw down on it.

That was an exciting game, and I always love it when season opener is an upset.  Any given Sunday!

Mahomes ended up putting up more-or-less exactly how many points he was supposed to, so I can't complain. However yeah, I should have had at least 5 more points from him -- it wasn't exactly his fault.. It will probably come back to bite me in the ass, we'll see.

Dude, the preferred nomenclature is "Chinese American."  Tongue

The line for the Cincy Bengals vs Cleavland Browns moved again, now at -1.5 Cincy.  I hopped all over that one.  Also took the Vikings at -5 (which moved from -5.5).  Put another few bucks down on the Miami Dolphins at +3 over the LA Chargers.

The dude abides.

Who hoo won the Detroit game.  It paid put +180 for straight money line.  Without kelce and the first game of the season I figured they would struggle.  The disappointing part of the game was how little theor weapons were used or were effective.  CEH, Pacheco were none existent, sky Moore was a huge disappointment.  We'll see once kelce gets back he changes the game for KC.  Hurts having jones hold out too.

Congrats, yeah that game really showed the chinks in KC's armor.

Their WR corp is a disgrace.

Lions re-signing Jones looks like a big fail as well as he could have easily lost them that game.

I question my decision on drafting Deshaun Watson instead of Trevor Lawrence for by qb1. I wish he is allowed his regular schedule of power massages before practice similar to when he was in Houston. It is good for the mind hehehe.

Watson is a SERIOUS gamble and I would not play him until he proves himself.

Just a bit of advice.

Why did you edit your post and scratched Massage Watson as a serious gamble? Did you get information making him a very lucky pick? I had the decision between Massage and Lawrence, however, why would the Browns make him one of the highest paid quarterbacks if he cannot perform as expected? They also accepted him despite the sexual molestation cases.

Massage for MVP!

I crossed it out after you mentioned your backup was Stafford and I checked the Waiver wire and you literally have nothing but gambles for choices.

@wheelz1200. Your bet is alive with the Lions leading by 1 point, however, the turnover on the 45th yard line with around 3:00 left will be a challenge. The defenders are doing a very good job, however. What were the odds for Lions moneyline?

Okay only 2:00 left in the game, the Lions has the ball. I want Patterson field goal from 30 or longer.

Alright lets talk some games this weekend.  I think I'm staying away from tonight's game, I just don't know what to expect..but here's the lines I like for Sunday..

-2.5 Bengals over Cleveland. I love the Brown this year, but Cincy is elite.
-5 Jags over Colts. Jags are on the up and up, colts...ehhhh
-5.5 Vikings over Bucs
+3 Miami over Chargers

These are the spreads I like anyhow.  Few others that I like, but I need to see a game or two from certain teams before I feel confident throwing down on them.

I'm riding that -5.5 vikings line they shoukd eat up the bucs.  I don't know what the over is for the Chargers and Miami game is but I'm taking the over no matter the spread.  As a true Homer fan I'm taking the giants ML in Sunday nights game and for tonight....

I'm taking the Lions Money line.  Lions are gonna give them a huge fight and think that kelce injury is gonna hurt.

Go giants

I don't like betting on games this early in the season either.  The team that finished top of the league last year could easily fall on the their faces this year.  It's happened so many times..  Tonight's game is almost looking like a trap.  Anyone who's paid attention would assume that the Chiefs are going to win, but then we all know the Lions are going to win the Super Bowl this year.

Just to be clear, I was being sarcastic... Lions will suck horribly, that's a safe bet any year.
I'll take that bet.

Specify your definition of sucking not horribly and the amount you're willing to lose on this Grin

Sucking horribly is definitely on the low side but I'll give you a break and make the terms not below 50%.

W-L 50%, so you're saying they'll have 8.5 wins or more? Ok, I'll bet on less than 8.5.

LOL, I give you a break and you want to make it a serious bet?

I'll make one for beer money of over 50% but if you want to make a real bet then I'm not cutting you a break.

Sucking Horribly is WAY under 8.5 wins and you know that very well.

It also appears Cooper Kupp this year will be something similar to Jonathan Taylor last year.

Cooper Kupp's pesky hamstring issue seems to be getting more complicated by the week.
First things first: Kupp will not play in Los Angeles' season opener against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Rams coach Sean McVay announced Wednesday

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
It seems I missed some of the post-draft fun but I suffered a power outage which was just resolved now, so I am just reading your posts.

This has to be the draft in which I had to improvise the most as barely anything went as planned from the very first pick, this is how the draft went from my perspective.

1st  round pick. RB Austin Ekeler. ChiBitCTy with their first pick selected Chubb, from that moment on I knew I had to ad-lib during the whole draft, as whenever I was on the top 5 I could get Chubb without issue, now Ekeler is a good pick but that was sure a curve ball, at the time Kelce was still on the board but I care not about the TE position, demonstrated by the fact I picked one until the 14th pick and I would have done so with my last pick if there was not a rush for the K and the D positions early on the draft.

2nd round pick. RB Najee Harris. Another unexpected pick for me, I was hoping to pick Mixon here but suchmoon took away my possibility of doing so, if I remember correctly Harris had some issues with injuries and this could be my undoing as I did not really put enough attention to the injuries factor during this draft.

3rd round pick. RB Jahmyr Gibbs. This is a risk I took, Conner was on the board but I had problems last year with him due to injuries so I decided to ignore him and go for the rookie here.

4th round pick. WR DJ Moore. This is probably my worst pick on the draft, I was planning to pick Fields here while I was also watching Metcalf drop, so I was confident I could get one of those two here, but then suchmoon once again took Fields before I could, and then when I was complaining about it on the discord channel, yahoo, I think, got Metcalf too, after complaining again on the discord channel, I had little time to take a decision, a QB here other than Fields was not part of the plan so I had to take a WR, now TE Andrews was available but again I do not have too much appreciation for the TE position so I took DJ Moore here, which BTW was also the worst pick of last year's draft.

5th round pick. RB Miles Sanders. If I could not get Fields with the 4th pick then this was supposed to be the place I got a QB, however there was an early rush for QBs and the only QBs left which were worth a 5th in my mind were picked while I waited, at this point I had resigned myself to pick Kirk Cousins with the 9th pick and selected Sanders here which gave me good results last season.

6th round pick. WR Christian Watson. The WR position was getting very thin for my liking and I was tempted to draft QB Lawrence here, but since I had already changed my plans and wanted to pick a QB late on the draft I decided to go for a WR here, not the best pick as I will depend on Jordan Love not sucking for this pick to be worth it.

7th round pick. QB Trevor Lawrence. As the picks kept going I was surprised that Lawrence fell into my lap and I picked him as fast as I could, as even if Cousins is a decent QB I did not wanted to depend on him for my QB play.

8th round pick. RB Brian Robinson. I would have preferred Antonio Gibson here but had no luck at all, can only hope the guy wins the starting job and I can get a FLEX out of this.

9th round pick. WR Jerry Jeudy. I think this was a good pick here, for a 9th round pick I got a potential starter, he may not play during the first weeks and he seems to have some injury issues but I think it was worth to take him here.

10th round pick. WR Courtland Sutton. I made a mistake here, I was preparing myself to try to swing for the fences but I noticed I needed to make a not so bad pick on the 10th round, I think this was the pick in which I almost ran out of time as I was scrambling to find a good WR,  and at the end I picked Sutton more than anything as insurance, assuming Russel Wilson does not suck then at least one of them has to have good numbers so I can just keep whoever has them and drop the other WR.

11th round pick. RB Jaylen Warren. After the disaster that was the 10th round pick, the draft choices being quicker as most of us were on uncharted territory and the discord channel getting busier, I could not help but to think of Najee Harris and his injury issues so I went and drafted his backup just in case.

12th round pick. WR Skyy Moore. My only legitimate attempt to swing for the fences, if the kid improves then he could at most become a FLEX, which is not bad for a 12th pick.

The 13th, 14th and the 15th were just the best player available and are not worth mentioning.
