Could have been worse. At least he was in the same ballpark. Better than when I posted something completely off topic a few months back lol. I can't remember what it was, but it was kinda funny lol ( I think we both blamed in on alcohol
)
On Justin Fields, do not underestimate him, according to my gameboys he is 6th in the top rankings for quarterbacks and Justin Herbert on 7th.
It also appears the we need to update our cheatsheets. Dalvin Cook was traded to the Jets and Zeke Elliott was traded to the Patriots. How does this impact Breece Hall and Rhamondre Stevenson? This might move them down the rankings, I reckon.
I will have to check more closely what is happening around Fields, I had plans to draft him since last year the guy literally saved my ass just when I needed it the most and basically won me two straight games almost single-handedly, but if he does not have anything to work around him then he may depend once again on his legs to make things happen and this could risk him to injury.
I am not going to share my thoughts on Dalvin Cook going to the Jets and Zeke going to the Patriots until after that draft
..this would be giving away strategy (not that anyone necessarily gives two shits what my strategies are lol).
As for Fields...here's the thing, as a die hard Bears fan I'm excited as all hell when it comes to his potential and upside..but...he's yet to prove he can be a legitimate pocket passer, and I'm scared that might still end up being the case. He's got a great receiving core (DJ Moore, Mooney, Claypool..though he is hurt atm...and TE Kemet has big time upside). He's also got an upgraded offensive line. There won't be any excuses he can make after this year is what I'm getting at. Also a solid backfield.
