I'm worried about Dallas the 49ers I'm a scary offensive machine.  Purdy, miraculously already at ease, is spoiled for choice between a more than stellar RB who also acts as your WR, a TE with no need for introductions and a WR department that only Samuel would be enough.
The baddest defense in the league then completes the picture.  Do you think Dallas or 49ers will go through?

W0w, Brady has more playoff wins than the entire cowboys franchise!
That’s insane, considering how good the Cowboys were in the 90s when I was growing up.

I was surprised to see that stat also.  Not only were the Cowboys tough in the early 90's but the late 70s and early 80s also.  It's crazy how much success Brady has had, he may be holding onto many of those records for all eternity.

He doesn't have that spark, its like hes just going through the motions.

He had a wide open field right before the half and didn't even try to run for the first.

Disappointing showing by Brady and most of TB. Brady should retire but the thing is next year he can still make a sucky team slightly less sucky, so he probably won't.
He should but there are several good teams which will pursue him and for someone like him it would be impossible to say no to all of those offers.

According to the rumors there are supposedly 4 teams interested in him, the 49ers, Titans, Raiders and Dolphins, the 49ers are the best option by far however I would say that if Purdy takes them to the SB then that door will close down, the Dolphins also makes sense, he is at Florida already, Florida has no state income tax and Tua has too many injury issues, while both the Titans and the Raiders have some NE influence and he could feel at home by going there.

I'm sure that Brady would love nothing more than to retire as 49er, but I really don't see that happening.  Obviously he's the greatest QB of all time, but he's not likely to make the 9ers better, or fit into Shanahan's system.  The only way he comes to SF is if Purdy completely blows it or gets hurt.  Shanahan already had a pocket passer in Garoppolo, but he never trusted him.  I don't see Brady as someone that Shanahan would put a lot of effort into getting on his team, unless of course he visits the Seahawks...

Thinking about it from the most realistic perspective; I'm of the opinion that we may have seen the last snap of Brady's illustrious career last night.

He also cannot retire. He has to make $650 million he lost in Sam Bankrupt-Fried's blackhole hehehe.

Damn was it really that much??

Most of us could retire off his chump change but for him yeah its probably a different story.

In any case, this Cowboys' kicker might be in a mafia list of paid players somewhere. Missed 3 extra point field goals? This is very head shaking.

Disapponting but not very shocking. Tom Brady has not been playing very well since the regular season. It might be because of the divorce which might also be caused by the bad investment he and his wife made in FTX. He also cannot retire. Never knew that stat.

That’s insane, considering how good the Cowboys were in the 90s when I was growing up.  This game is pretty sad though. Brady looks awful.  The cowboys are just absolutely dominating on all ends of the ball, well minus kicking. 0-4 in after point kick attempts. That’s insane. I haven’t had the volume on so I’m not sure what the record is but I have to assume Maher broke it tonight.

I heard Brady will stay next year only if conditions improve in Tampa or he could go to SF49.  But there are rumors that he has an agreement with fox for 375 million for the next 10 years, it seems to me something exaggerated but can you confirm these rumors?

This is all rumors and conjecture at this point.  No one knows for sure what Brady is planning on doing next year.  I've been hearing rumors about Brady potentially playing for the Raiders next year as they are surely going to be moving on from Derrick Carr.  Who the heck knows.

I wouldn't be shocked though that there is probably a standing offer with Fox when he's ready, whether that's next year or in three.  He seems to be the type so in love with the game that he'll have to be involved in some way shape or form.

The quality of the games was higher than what I expected to watch, with the Ravens and the Dolphins relying on their third QBs I expected them to lose in blowouts, and yet they gave a lot of trouble to the Bengals and the Bills, the Vikings Defense could not stop the Giants as I expected and the 49ers had some trouble but got the win at the end.

However the Jaguars are the ones that surprised me, when the score was 27-0 I thought the game would end 41-10 as the Chargers just had to give the ball to Ekeler, run it and be done with the game, and yet they kept throwing the ball, when I saw that I thought to myself ‘I have seen this before’ but even then I did not believed Lawrence could get the job done and he did.

And about the game between the Cowboys and the Bucs, I see the Bucs winning this one, Dak has been playing horribly after he returned from his injury and he is turning the ball over too much, and while the Bucs have not been playing great either to me this is enough to allow them to get the win.

From social media hehehe. This idea for a new horror movie. The Chargering.

Almost an unreal outcome but I have seen slightly weirder things happen. Almost turned the game off at halftime, glad I didn't.

Lol, the Chargering.  That's a good one.  What a crazy game, I watched the first three quarters on the shuttle bus on the way back from the 9er's game, and caught the end on the radio while driving home from the park-and-ride.  It looked like an embarrassment throughout the first half.  The announcers kept reminding us that Lawrence hadn't ever thrown and interception in the first quarter, and in his first post-season appearance he throws three.  And then a fourth...

I can't remember if I've ever seen a team come back from four turnovers in the first half.  That was an amazing comeback.

Put a small bet on Giants to cover +3.5 against the Vikings... this is purely based on the contrasting ability of these teams to cover the spread this season.

I'd like to see a Bills/49ers or Bills/Eagles Super Bowl.

Bills - 9ers is what I'm expecting, but I'm scared if we have to travel to Philadelphia.  Not that I think we can't beat the Eagles, but historically we haven't done well in the eastern time zone, and Philadelphia in particular has been tough.

As for today's games; I'm hoping for the Vikings to win, but I agree that the Giant's will likely make a good game of it.  I expect the Cowboys to beat the Buccaneers tomorrow, so if the Vikings win, they'll have to come to SF, and the Cowboys will have to go to Philadelphia.  I have more confidence in the Cowboys beating the Eagles than the Giants.  If the Eagles get beaten next week the NFC Championship game will be in San Francisco.  That's my dream scenario.

Do you have a favorite scenario for the Super Bowl?
I would like to review chiefs vs 49ers.
The latter are hyper candidates and I must say that I particularly like Purdy, I would like to see a superbowl with these two teams again

Or I'd also like to see the New York Giants at the superbowl.

<....> But that's the least of my worries now. 😟

Congrats on the win! The better team moves on to the next round, as expected, also fully deserved.

It wasn't even a holding penalty, dummy stepped out of his 2-yard zone for no reason (offside), ain't nobody there to block/protect. I knew it was over right there, before the strip sack even. You have to play near-perfect game vs. a superior opponent and it was a nice drive on top of that...costly penalty that was.

Next Schadenfreude, please!  Grin  Would be nice going from Urban Meyer and worst in the league to winning a playoff game in one season. Go, Jags!

edit; Schadenfreude sisters, we did it!  Cheesy  What a game...

Speaking of tomorrow's games, my brother got two tickets for the 9er's game tomorrow so I'll be attending live!  The last time I was at a game was at Candlestick Park I don't know how many years ago, so I'm pretty excited to see the "new" stadium and watch the 9ers take care of the Seahawks again.

Cool beans man, have fun!

I'm hearing the weather's gonna be... uhm... fun. Nothing that can't be fixed with copious amounts of beverages though.

The weather hasn't been too bad, the sun was out for a bit.  Half time just started and starting to look nasty all of the sudden.   But that's the least of my worries now. 😟

Geno "they wrote me off, I ain't write back tho" Smith, what a pass that was to DK! Man, this game is better/closer than expected, or at least what the opening drives suggested. 9ers getting everything they want, running, passing to start the game. One long drive by the Seahawks and a momentum switch of sorts. Still, fully expect 9ers to win but you never know....if Seattle can put in some more of those balanced drives in the second half, things could get tricky in the end. Love it!
