It might be a similar situation for Cooper Kupp also. The first reports said that he will be out for only week 1 then news updates came that he will be out for 4 weeks. However, there are other speculations that it might be questionable if he can return by week 10. This is more than 50% of the regular season without my best widereceiver.

you wanna trade?

Who do you propose to trade from your team? If Cooper Kupp is healthy after week 5 and if that week was the week of the draft, I reckon he would certainly be within top 5 in all rankings. I do not want a trade unless it is a fair trade. He might be my saviour hehehehe.

In any case, what is everyone's bets for week 2?

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
I guess I'll bring it up since nobody else has:

What's with Aaron Rodgers' and Sauce Gardner's doobie brothers handshake?  I saw a video of it some months ago, and then they did the same thing when they ran out onto the field Monday night.  Looks kinda stitty, no?

But that's not why I'm posting; I'm sad to see him injured and out for the year, but it would be even more sad if that was the last snap of his career.  At his age, recovering from a torn achilles is a longshot.  He's healthy enough but I'm not sure we'll ever see him suit up again.  The whole scene reminded me of watching Steve Young go down.

The only difference is Steve's injury ushered in the end of an era, with Rodgers the era never had a chance to start.  The god damn Jets are cursed.

I'm stunned he was so injured, it didn't look like he was in any pain at all, maybe he was in shock?

I went light on rbs and got burned with the jk Dobbins season ending injury.  Going to be rough come bye weeks trying to piece together a team worth throwing out there lol.  Lukc of the draw with injuries.  I thought Dobbins was gonna have a great year but dude can't stay on the field it's a shame.  With that being said week 2 here we come!

Depth is huge, Kelly was a good pickup and Johnson may take over if the scuttlebutt is true.

I started off the season with a loss, just like a finished last year lol. Man, it looks like it might be another tough year for me.  Joe Burrow really screwed me though.  But, I certainly don't expect him to continue being that bad going forward.

I wasn't shocked to see Gainwell get the majority of the snaps (Philly beat writers have been saying he's the main guy for some time now), as well as Penny being inactive, but I don't expect this to keep up. Penny is the best RB on this team, no question about it, but I know they are taking things very slow with him due to his injury history.  I've heard they plan to ease him in and really want to make sure they have him for the playoffs.  It's certainly an interesting backfrield right now.

 I'm rooting for Higgins Burrow!
Penny might be worth a stash, if gainwell doesn't play I would not be surprised to see him get the bulk with the other 2 doing the same backup routine.

Wow, third-worst score in the league, but it's good enough for the win.  Grin

Starting the new season the same way i ended last year, with tight games and me needing miracles come MNF (Allen's four turnovers did it this time). Shit is not healthy!

Mandrews is injured, hopefully, he is good to go for week 2, i don't want to stream another TE, though i must admit there are a few names on the waiver wire which i like a lot...both Musgrave and Ferguson could be serviceable throughout the year based on week 1 usage/play.

I'm surprised to see Kenneth Gainwell leading the Eagles' running back corp. 👀 Swift and B. Scott combined for 2 carries (Penny a healthy scratch) to Gainwell's 14 rush attempts. I realize it'll be a run-committee with the Eagles and Hurts will vulture TDs, but a 14th-round pick for him is a steal, at least for me and my zero-rb strategy.

Haha yeah. What a duell that was. I think I got the lead 3 or 4 times during the MNF game.
But with every INT and the fumble you gained it back! Cheesy In addition, I also had the Bills on defense and I still got negative points with every sack there.

It was a really disappointing performance from my team across the board. You seemed to feel the same way, but it was enough to win! Cheesy Congratz.. I'm looking forward to the rematch in a few weeks.  Wink

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
In other new, Aaron Rodgers ruled out for the remainder of the season.  What an absolute buzz kill !!!  I mean 4 play in and already out for the season..I'm not the biggest Rodgers fan but I feel for him here. Absolutely sucks.
A very disappointing event without a doubt, during the off-season it was as if there was only a single team that existed on the NFL, and that was the NY Jets and Aaron Rodgers, and everything was over in just four plays, at this point I wonder if Rodgers will retire because of this injury? I mean the guy is 39 years old and this kind of injury takes 9 months to fully recover, but since he is so old already it should take even longer, additionally by the time he gets back in football shape it is likely the next season had started already, then Rodgers may call it quits during his recovery.

What a brutal day for me.  Got handed to in fantasy, lost jk Dobbins for the year in the process and then had to sit through the night game as a giants fan.  I don't think I have ever seen a worse game than that one right there.  I hope the season doesn't look like that all year
Without a doubt it was a difficult game to watch, the first quarter was not finished and I think anyone with some common sense knew it was over at that point, it was just a matter of how bad it was going to be, and it was really bad.

When it comes to our league four games are decided already and the only ones up in the air are the NE Potatoes vs the Mind-Blowing Team and the Cows vs ChiBitCTy.

Quite honestly if I happen to win, this can be completely attributed to Burrow dropping the ball, as the points ChiBitCTy needs are precisely the points Burrow failed to score against the Cleveland ‘Elves’.

Yeah Burrow absolutely crushed me.  I mean what a horrible first game after signing the leagues largest contract ever.  Was a tough loss.  I certainly haven't lost any faith in Burrow, but losing week one like that just sucks.

In any case, who drafted Josh Allen? My prayers and wish this type of performance was only for week 1 hehehe. He did not look like an MVP candidate vs. the Jets.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Another QB to watch closely this year is Jordan Love.  Big shoes to fill from GB's perspective, but he seems built for the purpose.

Didn't notice Doubs on my bench. ;P

Arron gonna fuk you and throw one and run in two! Tongue

That would be my luck, for sure.

Cheesy Lol

Don't laugh too loud about Mac Jones, at least not yet.  I still think the Niners would have been better off picking him over Trey Lance.

Alright, here's my only bet for opening weekend.  I'm playing with house money at the moment, so throwing caution to the wind.  Both QBs to pass for two TDs a piece, and the Jets +10.5.  Wish me luck.

j/k good bets.

I thought it was rather risky of you to start him this week, but yeah, pretty damn good outing for Tua.  Not that it's surprising after last year, but fucking A, Hhampuz looks like he won the RB and WR lottery.  I knew Aiyuk would be good this year, he and purdy have a great connection.  Jakobi Meyers is a surprise, though.  Speaking of LV, it's funny to see Garoppolo and Wilson are division rivals again.

Can only pray they all stay healthy, with danny on QB and the worst O-line to ever suit up for NFL I may have to work out some trades  Cheesy

The cheetah is a cheat code with his speed, especially yesterday it was pretty impressive.

Lets not over look Concussion Boy dropping those dimes as well, I was quite impressed with his accuracy.

Yeah, they just elevated Meyers from the practice squad, I wonder if his and Jimmy G's time in Foxborough is why he went off? Could just be a flash in the pan, we will see.

Hampus Came out of the gate like lightning!  I'm most surprised about A. Jones and wonder if he will keep that level with Luck.

I think Pitts (yeah the te pitts as well) sucks and the hype train got that one wrong and even though San Fran is a powerhouse with all those mouths to feed I don't expect to see those numbers that often.

But like I've been saying, Purdey is "Purdey Good"!

Can't wait to See the new Jets v/s Allen and Co, it should be a real show if nothing else.

Also noticed Me and Mo fucked ourselfs on the waivers, apparently picking up guys after the draft changes waiver priority, o well live an learn.
