I don't know about you guys but I've been having a blast, but then again I was having a blast last year fighting to not come in last place! Cheesy

I get super fatigued toward the end of the fantasy season. Too much shit to take on a weekly basis....i'm tired.  Grin

Like for example, last week vs. ChiBitCTy, Geno, who is usually reliable in not turning the ball over, had an interception and a fumble. Kamara had two fumbles, one on the goal line, Henry fumbled on a big play just a couple of yards from a td (not to mention zero rush first down points, lol wtf?). Andrews dropped a pass in the endzone and was lucky the Jags didn't recover his fumble in the first quarter. Giants scored in garbage time against my Cowboys d/st...and with all this, you end up winning your matchup by one point because of an injury...even wins don't feel right these days.

Speaking of yahoo estimates...

Yeah, there are gonna be those weeks and its magnified when they are when things are heating up and the playoffs are in sight!

On the bright side You WON that by one point against ChitBitCty who lost TWO weeks by less than one point which is heartbreaking when your struggling to survive!

Your soo lucky that all that horrible shit happened in one week with your stud team AND YOU STILL WON!

And I gotta say ChitBitCty made some great moves with alot of bad breaks thrown his way this year.

Whats nexts week big Match?

You and I of course Smiley - could be for the lead if Eli can manage an upset against Jerkers.

Also Cows vs Corpse, especially if the latter lose today - that'd be a fierce fight for that last playoff spot.

I would not be shocked if I lost another week. McCaffrey is beginning to show some minor knee injuries that I speculate would become a major injury. Tyreek Hill also has problems, however, I am starting to be very worried about Lamar Jackson. His hip injury appears to be placing him on questionable for more than 3 weeks every week. I should have dropped Daniel Jones and got Massage Watson from the waiver wire. I speculate that he will give more points than projected for those who rostered him.

Your depth of roster may come into play soon, you've been very lucky this season not having to deal with injuries like the rest of us. Wink
Ohh, and I've noticed you have made some very nice waiver picks. Who you listening to this year?
Definitely not that moron Steve smith you were listening to last year! Cheesy

If it weren’t for bad luck, I wouldn’t have any luck at all lol. Out of my 3 leagues, the other two leagues I’m the highest scorer yet in 4th place for both. For one of them I’m the high scorer but also have the most points scored against. Point being I have the worst fantasy football luck ever.

Here’s my team in the league I run. It’s 12 man mind you. I’ve lost Breece Hall, Zach Ertz and Michael Thomas.
I’ve dealt with countless injuries (Hall, MT, Ertz, Tua, Deebo, Njoku etc).

I mean this is a solid team but imagine if I had Hall/Ertz/MY. FF is so damn frustrating!!  Angry

Okay I just needed to bitch some lol.
Good luck to those of you who will make the playoffs!

Due to how our matchups are set up for this week, we will have at least 6 and possibly 7 teams (out of 8 currently) still in contention for playoffs after this weekend. In other words at least one and at most two teams can be eliminated this week:

1) Loser of Bengals-HH match will get eliminated - with only 5 wins and two games to go no chance to break into top 4 where every team has at least 8 wins.
2) Rollers get eliminated if they lose, for the same reason.

On the flip side, at least one top 4 team is guaranteed to lose this week, which is what keeps the door open for the 6 or 7 teams.

As far as clinching a playoff spot, it's up to Cows:

1) if Cows lose, 2 or 3 spots will be clinched: Corpse of course due to their win over Cows, the winner of Barbarians-Coiners match, and Jerkers but only if they win.
2) if Cows win, no one can clinch this week.

I'm rooting for all underdogs to win this week, no particular reason at all Cool

It also appears we have a good game for Thursday night football. A divisional game with the Patriots vs. the Bills. Patriots is on the bottom of the division, lower than the Jets. Bill Belichick might have more motivation to win this and also force everyone to remember who he is hehehehe. Patriots +3 is not very good, however. I reckon it should be +6.5.

So ChiBitCity and Wheels mathematically eliminated?

Yes.

This has been one competitive season.

Harris pulled him self out of the game .72 points from a Taco corp ChiBitCty tie!

So that leaves no playoff chance for ChiBitCty - there are four 8-4 teams now, meaning that only teams with 5 or more wins still have at least some hope (3 games remaining in the regular season).

It also complicates the picture for the Cows... they need to win all 3 remaining games OR win at least 2 if one of the top teams loses all 3 remaining but then they also need to win the tie breaker with that team.

Bengals have no path to the playoffs I think.

Taking out the top team, nice job nutildah!

Lol anything trailer park boys and you’ve got my attention. I was actually planning on watching a little bit of it after the game tonight.

Speaking of, football hasn’t been very kind to me this year. I’ve don’t a legitimate job of gambling/betting games but when it comes to fantasy football I can’t keep anyone healthy. Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey being the latest to add on to my mile long list. Ah well.

Oh yeah these guys both have Monster teams and I'm not sure which one worries me more!

Hopefully I get Mixon and Fournette back soon. Smiley

Taking out the top team, nice job nutildah!

What do we have going on this week in our FF league and how this affects playoffs...

Upset win for Bengals against Jerkers, doesn't seem to do much for either team. 8-4 Jerkers will still be in the top spot due to the sheer amount of total points scored. Bengals have no path to the playoffs I think.

Yours truly beat Eli, which I really needed partly because of a stupid loss earlier in the season when I didn't replace an "out" player. 8-4 puts me in second place due to 160 points earned this week (thanks JJ).

This is where it gets a bit more interesting. Barbarians win again (end Rollers' hopes I think), 8-4, and move up to third spot even if Corpse can hold on to a 12 point lead against ChiBitCTy who has Najee Harris playing today (this one is going to be close). Barbarians earned 40 points more than Corpse and that's enough to gain a total points tie breaker as they were only ~12 points behind before this weekend.

And Corpse will be #4 with either 7-5 or 8-4, latter case will make all top 4 teams 8-4.

Then there is Cows vs the unpronounceable team name (let's call them HH). Cows have a 40 point lead, but HH have JT, so that one is not as obvious as Yahoo is making it seem with its estimates (95% chance of win for Cows). But assuming Cows win, that makes them 6-6, and the only remaining potential contender for playoffs outside of the current top 4.

Speaking of yahoo estimates...

Edit: I might have been wrong about the "no path to playoffs". In theory any team except Eli might still have a path, as there will be four of them with a 5-7 record (assuming ChiBitCTy wins) with 3 games to go and only 2-3 wins behind the top 4.

With four games remaining and with the top teams on the hunt with a 5-6, the number of wins needed to secure a playoff spot are indeed ten, however if I remember correctly the tie-breaker is points scored during the season and all the four teams at the top have the tie-breaker on their favor, if they can maintain this stat on their favor then they only needed nine wins to secure a playoff spot, however there is only one exception to this so far and that is the Q/Cows and the Barbarians as I have the tie-breaker in my favor by less than 6 points.

So the Saylor Jerkers which already have eight wins only need and additional one during the remaining four games as that will put you four games ahead plus the tie-breaker in your favor.

Match of the week, Two Dark Horses with great lineups on the road to the playoffs clashing.
This is basically a playoff game already, we are both on the hunt and the winner will position themselves as the main candidate to try to snatch one playoff spot out of the 4 top teams, and whoever losses will most likely be out, as even if the loser of this game could win the 3 remaining games there is no guarantee that will be enough to get to the playoffs.

Which is bad news for me as I do not think Fields will play due to his injury and I will need to play Brady this week.

I was thinking about this. How many regular season games does each of us need to be assured a playoff slot? A quick look on the present situation of our league's standings, it might be 10 wins? Top 4 is very close together, however, 5th place is where it begins to have some distance in between.
