Basically bitcoin was designed to do so. Yeah, even bitcoin was created for transaction purposes it is inherently having investment characteristics as well which might have been incorporated to bitcoin (by having limited supply) to attract more people to adopt it. This is the reason bitcoin is designed with halving on every four years so that there will be some intensive attraction to happen among new people so that they will get into bitcoin out of FOMO before some other people will grab those opportunities.

New people are joining for their own benefits but it is directly impacting existing adopters of bitcoin in more positive way. This is not working in a way how multilevel marketing is working but it is working in more better way like how stocks are working for a corporate.

It's fun but at the same time it's bad because when there's more people and mind you those that have no background in investing gets in, when they experience their first dump or dip, they will guarantee to panic and with a lot of those people, the market could tank really fast.

The arrival of new people in cryptocurrency is very good, because the more entrants there are, the more demand for bitcoin adoption in the future. The problem with some of the newcomers is that they are scammers, that's been around for a long time. As an investor, of course, you must disclose well before buying which tokens you want to invest and how long you have to keep the assets.

Adoption is on the move and arrival of new people on this market is continuous even though it cant really be determined or on how slow or fast it is.

Unfortunately, scammers find a way in in this market. They find it easy as they can screw people anonymously. Now, they are depending on these gullible users to take their bait. So this is really up to the users how they will protect themselves with online scam techniques. You are responsible on your actions. With many fake reviews/recommendations also, you are bound to make mistake if you will not do your own due diligence.

Most of the new comers doesn't know a Bitcoin forum created by Satoshi himself existed.
One of the main reasons how people find this forum is either they are crypto enthusiast who has been digging deeper knowledge about crypto, or just here because of the signature advertising campaign which isn't easy to attain when you're starting from scratch.

Most of the new comers was influenced by the social media personalities/influencers, not because they found this forum.

Depends on a certain person on how deep they do consider out on making a research because if they do then sooner or later they would really be finding off this place or forum which would widen of their

knowledge and idea about crypto if they are really that eager to learn up something more.Even myself wasn't really able to see this place until because of further research up on things then luckily I do

find up this place which broaden up my idea and knowledge not only limited to Bitcoin itself but also in other alts as well.

Actually, I find the ones talking the loudest often have the least useful things to say. I do admit that at first, I found some spaces to be ridiculously elitist, to the point the discussions were outrageously outdated and misinformed.

Depends on the people's intention on why they go to crypto since if they are here and seek for quick rich schene then might provably they will be crying since they got caught by scammers but if they are aware on the technology and knows a little information about bitcoin and how volatile it is provably we can see them helping to increase the demand and hype up the market.

You are right, bitcointalk is not the only forum that discusses bitcoin because there are many other forum that discuss the same thing out there. But you need to know that bitcointalk is one of the largest bitcoin forum so far among other bitcoin forum which will be the most comprehensive forum among other forum. I agree that not all crypto and bitcoin lovers have 1 account in this forum especially if their interest in bitcoin is as a trading and investment asset. They can study elsewhere and that's not a problem for them.

For the record, I have some friends who are quite active as traders since 2017. They make profit through their trading activities but they don't have an account in this forum. They can learn from friend to friend who was also a trader before them, and I think they are fine without being active in this forum.

The arrival of new users in the forums and the crypto world is great as cryptocurrencies are becoming more and more famous. Obviously I don't just see it from the positive side, but I can see it from the other side. Without sufficient knowledge, newcomers will be very vulnerable to getting scammed. The crypto world is not a safe place for those who do not have enough knowledge.
