There are always a way to something, you are just thinking that there are no way because you are thinking negatively. And you can't compare that into a virus or an zombie apocalypse being infected in such. Gambling addiction, or Addiction is a psychological problem that needs to be cured on early stages before it goes really bad. Many people can help you overcome your addiction into gambling especially your friends and your loved ones.

Not everyone will really stay addicted, there are people who are willing to change and to correct their mistakes and since it's possible for other people then I would say it's doable.

Your best chance to quit is when you fully surrendered and accept your loses because if not, you will still get that feeling of revenge and you will be going to spend any money you have if given a chance to gamble again and think that as you get addicted longer the problem is getting more serious.

But some people who understand their life and know that they are wasting too much time in gambling then they can stop from gambling or they can reduce giving their time in gambling and it is good if he will play some games for a smaller time of the day then with it he will remain refreshed.

For people like me who doesn't really take gambling as seriously as those gambling addicts, it not a big thing. I definitely canive without gambling in my life. But for people who are deeply reliant in their gambling activities and run their lives around it, i don't think there really is a sure and effective way on how to quit. I think it depends on the level of addiction the person has. If you're really addicted to it, medical and professional help is necessary.

But the problem lies is that those who are really addicted to gambling don't admit that they have addiction in the first place. That's why its very very hard to persuade them to seek medical attention because they don't see themselves us having problems. That's support system is also important as well to help the gambler first recognize the problem then that's the time they seek professional help to cure the addiction.

i don't think that gambling have a career so far, because how we can get a good career if we are only getting broke for the most we've played? before they can make much of money, they will suddenly get bankrupt and nothing left in their hands. actually if we have strong passion to quit from gambling, its should be easy to quit but as many people is difficult to quit, then maybe its a few people that could quit from gambling with easy because they know what is the big risk for playing gambling.

There are professional poker players who made playing poker as their career but it doesn't
mean they always make money or lose money, but these professional poker players have sponsors to
buy the minimum buy-in for them(this happens in poker tournaments). so I guess career is possible

Those people that are playing with poker tournaments and winning thousands and millions of dollar? They are perfect example of it, once they had enough for the rest of their lives, they will eventually quit for good.

Many people are deciding to become a professional gambler, but besides that it results from the profits he uses to invest or make a legitimate company. I am sure all gamblers have a mind to stop completely and have plan B to resume his life. Rarely do I see an old man still gambling, they only think of family happiness and happy to see their children grow up because they knows gambling is not a good business to be inherited.

I don't see the point of seeing people deciding to become a professional gambler. Most of us here just want to have enough profit when we gamble and they really don't care to become a professional gambler. If they are planning that to do so, in the long run they are failing and leads them to addiction and bankruptcy that leads them to think about quitting.

and how is he/she today? is she doing good? or cameback into gambling activity again ? this can't help people stay away from gambling moving into vacation without internet? Hmm this will be the worse night mare of their life for sure. Nowadays people are eaten my system or social media and they can't live without internet tbh how if they had money then they will play gambling all the day finding a new habits for this? Maybe not how if that habit makes them more triggered to play gambling?

would probably be easier if you find a new business. investments may be made you turn away from the world of gambling, or you can try trading. trading may look like a gamble, but, trading makes users control all the money they have, so the profits and losses borne by them.

And maybe finding a decent job will help also. One of the reason why we get addicted in gambling is because we thought that this is the only way where we could earn money, well, I could say that it is wrong, but others will say it is true, yeah, if you are winning. So, if we are going to let ourselves to find something out and get out on the gambling's door, then I'm sure that we could surely quit this gambling for good.

Because for example, you have got a job where you are earning more than you could earn in gambling, then obviously you will get addicted to it and you will forget gambling easily, just my opinion.

There are many ways to stop gambling forever, but it's your duty to pick up the best which is much preferable to you. Doing this we all can beat this habit. Self discipline and strong dedication would really be needed if you are willing to quit gambling for good and I could say this would really be hard for those people who got addicted to gambling.Focusing on other things would really be a good way because it would destruct you to play gambling again.
