In my noobs opinion, the biggest problem of altcoins is their proliferation. There seems to be a thousand released every other day and a great number of them are scams with notthing to deliver. The crypto community needs to sit up and collaborate instead of replicating lots of existing projects.

In my opinion which i think the biggest problem of altcoins is very cheap value in market and tied up with bitcoin when dip downtrend is concerned making it struggling the value everyday. Plus a lot of scam ICO commonly altcoins base project.

That is true. However, I believe the most urgent is the security when it comes to alt coins and cryptocurrency. Right now there are way too many scams around to be worrying about the dependency of altcoins to bitcoin.
In my opinion, one of the problems facing altcoin is minimal technological innovation. Most altcoins simply duplicate previously developed technologies. They duplicate the previous altcoin technology so that many altcoins are difficult to gain public trust. They are very difficult to occupy an important position in the market.
