Can someone please assist with pool mining at theblocksfactory.com with a Bitmain L3+ ASIC running Scrypt.

I am NOT getting good results.

Setup:
stratum+tcp://s1.theblocksfactory.com:9004

Status    Diff    GetWorks    Priority    Accepted      Nonce#    DiffA#    DiffR#    DiffS#

   5               1,232         0           65,536    0:00:03

159/1232 is a really low number.

Thank you in advance.

Hi furian, i've switched myself to skein also today.

running a gtx 1080 3gb with default ccminer parameters same url as you

Only running on 243mh/s now. Tried to change the intensity, 20 is still best for me with 1 thread.

GPU only on 0-20 %, no clue how to fix that, any suggestions.

hi m8,

changing the intensity didnt work out well for me.. it only gave me a lot of time the gpu didn't do anything.

did you change the amount of gpu's in the workers page to 1?

Well, I had x4 S9 miners running around 52 TH/s on this pool this morning and only made around 375 DGB. This is grossly less than what was expected from whattomine.com

I am not sure if I was doing anything wrong, but I feel that this output is way too low. According to the pool statistics, I should be making around 86 DGB /TH/Day. This amounts to about 4,700 DGB per day, which is still far-removed from the 7,400 DGB estimated from whattomine.com. So, if you take the 375 I made over 3 hours on the pool @ 52 TH, that's around 3000 DGB a day, and there is no way I would mine at that profitability.   I would like to mine this coin, but cannot afford to do so when other coins are more profitable.

Is there anything that you would suggest to increase rewards per day? Or does this all sound normal?

Thanks
I'm pretty sure its PPLNS so you need patience ...

hi all,

started with ccminer and skein today on dbg. just wondering what the best settings are for mining with my gtx 1070.

this is what i use atm.

ccminer-x64.exe -a skein -o stratum+tcp://stratum.dgb-groestl.theblocksfactory.com:9002 -u furian88.2 -p x

seeing that a 1080ti from 2 posts above makes over 1000mh/s and i'm only getting 389 i wonder if there is something i could change to get better mh/s.

thanks in advance!

Hello,
New miner, but I have some power behind me (10 S9's and 10S4's) and putting together about 5 GPU rigs.

I have been playing with difficulty settings all day trying to determine why I am not getting the same coins per Ths that the top 15 on the leader boards are getting. About the best happy spot I have found was from previous advice on the board of a bit over 8,000. But at best, I am getting 48-52 coins per Th and the leaders are getting consistently 73. That is a pretty big "leave" on the table. How can I optimize this number more efficiently?

Really just trying to figure out if I should stay here or go play with Bitcoin Cash Smiley The calculators say the ROI is here, but my numbers are not showing that. They would be if I was getting a better coin per Th rate though.

Thanks

Hello all!
Started mining DGB (Skein) 7 days ago and almost configured everything to work perfectly. My GPU is 1080TI Seahawk X. Do you think it can perform better? Do I need to make a fixed difficulty or leave it changing? I get 50-70 invalid shares per hour.

Don't use groestl, that is ASIC territory now. If you want to mine DGB with GPU you need to do it through Skein algorithm.

Do you know how i can go on the skein algorithm? It doesnt seem to work.. I think i have the wrong code?
Could you perhaps help me?

Hello, im not getting any confirmations on groestl dgb mining pool. it doesnt show on the stats either. do i have wrong version or something? I've used the version of "getting started" in the middle of the page. for NVIDIA mining

Hi,

I have recently started mining and have been part of your pool for 1 1/2 Months and am enjoying it so far. I was mining with a 4 GPU RIG initially  (1080 TI) and was getting around 600 Mh/s per GPU. Having added another 4 GPU's to the same rig I am getting a way lower hash rate accross the board (averaging somewhere around 450 Mh/s). Funnily enough this decrease was only present when mining via SKein DGB. For example mining zen cash on ZEC Miner I am still getting the same performance accross all cards ( avg. 700 sol/s).

Please help, as I want to carry on with mining DGB in your pool Smiley

Thank you for any suggestions or help.

Kindest regards,

Ru5ki

Hi,

I'm new miner in blockfactory pool.

I'm mining with a knc neptune(sha256) digibyte. Any advices to set the number of devices for vardiff optimisation?
I have 5 cubes.. just have to put 5 devices or count the numbers of asic processors ?

Thanks.

Hi,

I've started mining today so i registered at theblocksfactory, created my worker and started cpu mining on my 12 cpu server. (So yeah, CPU mining..).
But when I want to look at the hashrates from my worker (even after an hour or so) it says N/A and 0's everywhere. Does anyone know what is going on?

My server seems to be mining just fine.

any of the coins at the blocks factory can be mined with cpu?

 Not effectively, I'm pretty sure.

DGB-SHA, DGB-Qubit and DGB-Scrypt are ASIC mined (Bitcoin miners like the S9, the Baikal, and Litecoin miners like the L3+ and A2/A4 respectively).

DGB-Skein and DGB-Groestl are GPU mined.

The neoscrypt coins have GPU miners available, but I've never really looked into those to date.

As far as I know, the only thing worth mining at this time on a CPU is the cryptonight coins like XMR(Monero), at which your Ryzen is fairly good.

I didn't notice any pool-side improvement on DGB-groestl using the KlausT fork of ccminer vs trpv, and very little if any better on the miner reported rate.

Best to check for at least a 3 hour period though, normal variation could EASILY exceed that 50% variance you say on a 15-minute test.

Trying to mine scrypt on a CPU has been worthless for YEARS - GPUs for scrypt got replaced 4-5 YEARS ago by ASIC, and that was a year or two after CPUs got blown out of the water by the first GPU-based miner.

Do you even get 100khash/sec on your Ryzen for scrypt?

For comparison - my Innosilicon A2 units (which are GENERATION OLD ASIC and pretty badly outperformed by the more recent Bitmain L3+ and Innosilicon A4) pull 110 MEGAhash (on the miner, about 105 usually at the pool) on 1250 watts draw at the wall.

Hi

Any chance to offer an XMR(Monero) pool ?    xmr.theblocksfactory.com    Smiley

+

Will you revive the vtc pool in a near future ?

Thanks!

BAIKAL GIANT X10 Best practices :

  • Define one worker per miner
  • Use fixed diff. Ex : Username.workername_diffXXXXX

Recommended Difficulty per miner :

  • Groeslt : 4 or 8 --> Username.workername_diff8
  • Qubit : 4 or 8  --> Username.workername_diff8
  • Skein : Not tested

Post your result to help others find the best setting.

With the blocktime of DGB(15 sec), rejected shares of <5 % in average is ok.

Hello lucazane, are you sure "8" is a good number? When I was mining with VarDiff, the pool assigned me a difficulty around 5000. "MyName.1_diff5000" is no good idea?

Another question: What should I enter at "Devices" for 1 Baikal X10. The Baikal has 3 hasboards... so maybe "3" is good?

Also please confirm MyName.1_diff8 is correct.

Thanks in advance

I'm quite new to mining and playing around with gpu's(hardware in general). I started mining to learn faster about gpu's and the technology behind ico's. I try to search as much as possible for myself.

What i've running.

DGB groestl pool - Geforce GTX 1060 3GB - CC miner with default settings

I've overclocked my gpu a little bit to 1861MHz and this gives me a pretty stable 42-43MH/s for every accepted share.

Can anybody give me a indication what i can expect as average mining reward a day, so i can figure out if i'm doing things wrong at the moment.

Any help would be appreciated.
