Roger Ver should be considered as a kind of persona non grata because he does not even have decent arguments, yet he is engaging in ongoing behavior that has the outcome of attempting to undermine various bitcoin progress, including the implementation of Seg wit which is a solid bitcoin enhancement.
Maybe there is no real need to panic yet, because segwit has some time to activate, and maybe his other nonsensical ploys at forking bitcoin will not garner enough support to be any kind of meaningful threat to actually forking bitcoin?
No need to enter into full panic mode yet, as you said my dear JJG, we've a plenty of time to activate and as you see, the market is moving regardless of the debate, plus there are miners who are already starting to implement SegWit but it takes some time and hassle to set it up correctly.

There is fresh Bullish news every singel day, Bitcoin is growing so fast it's hard to keep it up. At some point it goes KABOOOM!

First German fund manager (Acatis, 5 bn assets under management) adds Bitcoin to his portfolio. Started to add a € 2.5 mln position to his balanced fund resulting in a Top 10 position. As vehicle he uses the Bitcoin Tracker ETN.

This is excellent news! There should be lot more hedge funds following this one. 2017 could be the year of the real big money flowing to bitcoin.
Ps. I remember in late 2012 when there was that Maltese fund investing in bitcoin...
Don't forget that we've a high probability that the winky brothers ETF will go online the coming year.
2017 will be the year of Bitcoin, definitely.
