The two week periods don't start when you sign up; they're fixed. The latest one just started yesterday and will be every two weeks after.

What do you mean?

this

It's still the same result in the end as you'd have the same activity whether you made the 14 posts a fortnight or one in each then collected the rest later.

Thank you.

Last question:
my reg. date was 15 june
my activity: 84

how can it be?
two weeks period:
19 august, 5 august, 22 july, 8 july, 25 june = 5x14  = 70

It's not possible to get more than 14 points per fortnight you've posted in, but if you made 1 post each in 4 periods you would have 4 points, then you could quickly get the full 56 points by making an additional 52 posts.

I´m really confused now. So many questions after reading this.  Huh

First and most important:

Is it possible to claim more than 14 activity in 2 weeks?

Simply, NO!

Well, it is possible if you haven't made the full 14 posts in each of the two week periods. You can make one post then collect all the points from those periods at a later date.

But it´s the same result. Or not?

Well you can now work it out easily how soon youll become one using that chart hehe.

Until you get to the legendary status that is
Then unless you can figure out how the secret key works
Your in for a fun time guessing when it will be unlocked  Wink

To make things more fun, the Legendary membergroup has no universal activity requirement. You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity, but the exact point in this range at which you become Legendary is random per user.

It's a good way of stopping people just spamming their way through the ranks. I like it, but the system can be gamed by obviously logging on once and collecting the points at a later date (and this is what most account farmers tend to do). Maybe having to actually make the 14 posts in the actual two-week period would be better.

Interesting suggestion.  However, the fact that you've had the account for long enough posting just once a fortnight or so seems to be worthy of something.  In my own case, I lurked and did't post much for about a year.  Then when I joined a sig campaign about a month ago, I basically blew by "member" and went to "full member" very fast.  I don't think I gamed the system in any way, I just think I got rewarded for the fact that I wasn't totally a newbie.

I don't disagree with you. A lot of users find themselves in your situation, but a lot also farm accounts this way. I still suppose at one point everybody has to make the minimum amount of posts to rank up anyway.

What surfer43 said isn't true. Merely logging on every fortnight doesn't matter; you need to actually make at least one post as well. Make one post in each of the fortnight periods and you can collect the activity points at a later date.

That's how I understood it and I think it goes deeper than that.

I think that was the whole point - to make it difficult for people to game the new system.

Let me see if I understand this correctly.

In order to maximize your activity count, you need to make one post a day OR 14 posts exactly every two weeks.
No... to be active you have to log in at least once every two weeks. To maximize activity, you must constantly be active (log in at lease once every two weeks) AND have a post count greater than or equal to the number of days you have been active.

It doesn't matter when you get your posts. You could for example log in every two weeks for two years and not post anything, then post 730 times in  a week. This would put your post count and activity at 730.

This can't be true.  I have tons of hours of being logged in and I have had some 2 week periods where I posted hundreds of posts and I don't think I have ever gotten more than a couple dozen activity points.

The current system is confusing and unfair.  Real active members should be going up faster than people who log on once per week for a few minutes.

He need another roughly 354 days to become a hero. 1 activity per day and its is updated every 14 days.

       480 days
    -  126 days

       354 days

Your right I meant to deduct the remaining days from that total
I guess it would be 1 a day so 480 days to become a hero from scratch
Never though of it that way just 1 a day to 480 plus or minus the first 14

Yes!
sorry i am ask Smiley still newbie Cheesy

it took many months if we want to level up to a greater extent?

example of jr.member> members> full member> sr.member and last> hero member

and whether the activity effect? or it takes time for it?

Not very sure of what your question is but I think you wanted to know how many months it takes to Hero
I believe its roughly a year and four months

Activity increases by 14 every two week period  if you have the posts

365/14 = 26 Periods

26*14 = 364 Activity to reach 480 you need another 116

Or roughly 116 days or 9 more 2 week periods.

He need another roughly 354 days to become a hero. 1 activity per day and its is updated every 14 days.
