Man United saved this season with win against City rivals, but I didnt expect such outcome today.
Maybe Man City players celebrated Premier League title and got more relaxed then they should, so it was hard to get motivated today.
Well done Man United for getting in Europe competition next season and congrats for winning this year FA Cup.

I am so happy for Manchester United, at least since their performance this season was bad, they were able to win at least one trophy and it will be a great excitement for them today. Kudos to their coach and the brilliant goal from their young players, Gernacho and Mainoo. Mainoo is the youngest player to have scored in an FA Cup final for 60years and that’s a big achievement for him. Now that they’ve won the FA cup, can they reconsider keeping Eric Ten Hag again? Rumors have it that he’s going to be leaving the club after the FA cup final, I hope they can allow him to stay for sometime again. Congratulations to Manchester United once again, and hard luck to Manchester City as they were not able to win upto two trophies this season after winning the Premier League.

Well that's somehow absurd to give your final decision on the finals because of a random statement that Bruno Fernandes gave, I believe his statement is exactly what every footballer would give especially after the kind of performance the club has this season. Manchester united won was a surprise to everyone today even though some persons are saying they were expecting it which I choose to disagree especially not after a statement that Bruno Fernandes gave in a press statement.

But the other option that you gave that lead to your certain believe that Manchester united would win is actually quite understandable because even that game was a surprise to me especially after the feat that Bayern Leverkusen have achieved this season and with this am also being skeptical about Real Madrid supposed win over Dortmund in the champions league final.

A big Congratulations to Manchester united it was really unbelievable from them after their poor performance they have finally correct their mistake today by lifting the FA cup trophy. Manchester united have really make us proud today because we almost lose hope this season that we are not going to achieve anything, all thanks to God almighty for making us won the game and hopefully we are going to play Europe league next season.

Manchester United winning the emirate FA Cup tonight is not a surprise to me. When I said it in my neighborhood they look at me as someone that is a fool. When I began to have the mindset that Manchester United will win Manchester City in the FA Cup final is when Bruno fernandes was interviewed about Manchester United performance this season. He simply said that he is not interested in the performance of Manchester United and has no much to say, that the only important thing to him this season is winning the Emirates FA cup. It was after this interview that I knew that the players of Manchester United will approach the finals in a very dynamic way that will surprise Manchester City.

Although I was optimistic and holding to my belief, but the recent surprise of Atlanta against Bayern Leverkusen in the Europa League finals gave me another confidence that Manchester United can do it. It only takes determination to win a final and not who plays better. Do not be surprised that what happened in the Europa League finals, which also happened in FA Cup Finals can also happen in Champions League finals.

Unexpected results.

It is very possible that Manchester City will look at this match in a relaxed manner if I look at Manchester City's game in the first half and Manchester United have prepared this match with good preparation.

Manchester City just wanted  to win a title and since they got the epl they never wanted to add full seriousness, congratulations and Manchester United deserve the title since they’ve been called names so this is just a way of proving our thought wrong.

If the decision to sack the coach has not been finalized, it will be much harder to because Manchester United did not only win the game, the played better than Manchester City even though they have not been good all season, but the difference in their game today was also that the coach had most of his first team choice to play and it reminded us of how good Manchester United can be. If Manchester United sack the coach and do not offload some old players from the team to bring in better options, the new coach will still suffer same run of bad results.
Arsenal supporters will be pleased because Manchester City players who are rarely on the losing side of games will have a taste of the feeling once again of losing after they denied Arsenal a chance to win the premier league after coming closest to it in more than a decade.

This is what we didn't expect that Manchester United could do that now than we predicted probably would say lose but instead Ten Hag did a good job in the last match.

I read somewhere; "if I get sacked then it's okay I'll go to another one to win trophies" What he means is that it might be difficult to get trophies with his team now except only the FA trophy.

But I'm a little disappointed what was at stake for Manchester City who were overconfident this team would win, which in the end had to lose, this is a little upset but congratulations to Ten Hag Manchester United fans rejoice.

.This is football for you, especially when it comes to the English side of football, it usually and unpredictable football league ever. When I saw the odd today @10.45 for Manchester United to win Manchester Cit, I quickly took a risk on the game using an amount of money on a normal time I will ude for a bottle of beer, I was busy when the game started but got surprised too when I checked scoreline and saw that Manchester United was leading at the 30th minutes of the game as at the time, Thought that Manchester City would have had a bounce back in that game and come back to win, and more surprising to me, United scored their second goal at the 39th minutes and this was when I doubted City would win as both teams are from same city, and they usually find each other difficult to play when they meet regardless which team is more in form.

There is nothing impossible in football. It seems like those are the right words to describe the result of the match between Man City and Man United. Coming to Wembley as underdogs but Man United succeeded in making a big surprise. In terms of performance, they clearly lost to Man City, who dominated the match more but it looks like Man United knows how to score goals tonight, and most importantly they also know how to defend their win until the whistle blows.

Even though Man United was successful in winning the FA Cup trophy, it seems that it was not enough to guarantee Ten Hag's future at Man United. This is reminiscent of the past when Van Gaal was still fired even though he managed to win the FA Cup in 2016. Will Ten Hag also face the same fate as Van Gaal? It seems we will get the answer soon.

Manchester City 1 - 2 Manchester United

I bet on Manchester City to win this game, when the game hadn't started yet, I saw that the odds in favor of Manchester City were 1.28 while the odds for Manchester United to win were 7.00, to be honest, I even laughed and I said to myself: "Manchester City will win this game easily" that's why I decided to wait for the odds for Manchester City to win to increase so that I could place my bet, as it was a game in which I didn't see Manchester City losing So I bet on Manchester City even with odds of 1.45

In my opinion, Manchester City's players came to this game very relaxed because they had won the Premier League and because they are probably saving themselves from injuries because of the Euro, I say this because of the mistakes made in Manchester City's defense, despite this tournament. be important, for Manchester City who won the premier league and have many good players who will play for national teams in the euro, it seemed to me that they didn't take today's game very seriously in the 1 half, only in the 2 half after many minutes passed they started to play better, but that doesn't mean I'm discrediting Manchester United, looking at Manchester United's performance in this tournament when they played against big teams, I realized that they played more motivated and played well, that's why I'm not surprised with this result

Manchester City put up a surprising performance this afternoon against our EPL champions to clinch the FA cup , which is a consolation reward for the work put in in the last few months!!! Btw, this is a very much needed win to try and save Erik Ten Hags job which I can only speculate as the general performance of the team has been poor and  if it was at another club he would have been sacked by now..but he might have bought himself more time to prove his worth!

even with the two goal down from the first half i was still of the opinion that Manchester city was goin to win Manchester united but it was actually very surprising for me to see that Manchester city weren't able to get a come back and be able to win Manchester city by the end of the game which most definitely got me feeling Manchester city didn't take this game seriously enough to the point they would want to win the trophy because they already have a trophy to their selves already this season so most definitely the FA cup wouldn't be a big deal if they loose it as they are already the recording breaking winners of the prestigious premier league.

Manchester city's performance today was actually unlike their performance since this season, they had performed much better than they did against Manchester city this year, Manchester united wasn't such a team that Manchester city would really find difficult to win, this was the kind of performance Manchester city had through this season, i doubt if they would have been able to win the league title this season.

Honestly, it is a surprise that Manchester United was able to win this  FA cup trophy against Manchester City today . Many people did not believe that Manchester United would won the game because of their weak performance this season. Manchester city really played well because they were the team that controlled the pitch and they  created a lot of good chances, but they were not lucky to covert it to goals.

But what I have to say about this game is that Manchester United did not play with fear this time around; they played confidence, and that is why even their defensive tactics  counterattack work for them. With this surprise that Manchester United won Manchester City, a lot of people will lose because almost everyone predicted that Manchester City would win. A big congratulations to Manchester United for this achievement. 

That’s the beauty about football, sometimes you will be given the necessary doubts and with determination you will overcome. I wouldn’t say I was too confident that Manchester United will win but I was full of optimism that they will definitely push city through this and they did. The first 45 minutes of the match was definitely a show of brilliance by Ten Hag, he was  very aware that Manchester city love to hold the ball very well, so he decide to compact the midfield. Bruno today definitely showcase his talent and worthy, he was everywhere today.

I was very happy for Ten Hag becoming victorious in this match because it definitely proves to people all what he has been saying this days. He has always insisted with a fully fit squad he would have won some matches he lost and the show today proves that united with the some additions can definitely play the top football. This right now will give INEOS more to think about as they consider sacking Ten Hag

I must say I was a bit impressed with United performance today and I think it was a well deserved victory but they didn't deserve to actually win a trophy this year so that's kinda meh. Also , this trophy won't save this season because no matter what and I also don't consider ten Hag position being safe at all but the next 2-3 weeks should tell us more regarding who will coach United for next season.

City basically forgot how to play football in first half and when second half started it was already to late to make a comeback because United were in great shape today.

Today's match was just a surprise to me. I never expected Manchester City to lose the match. Since Manchester United's performances haven’t really been good and Manchester City's performances have been incredible, I was thinking they would do everything possible to win the match. Honestly, I was even expecting the match to be an easy win for Manchester City. Seeing this result is just kind of surprising. Manchester City dominated the match, but all they could get was just one goal. I am really disappointed in Manchester City because I never believed they would lose.
 
Congratulations to Manchester United! I never expected United to surprise me in the match, but they played well and were able to win the FA Cup. Lots of people will be losing their bets today because most people placed their bets on Manchester City to win, but United are the heroes today.

You're right, the performance of Manchester City's players seems really not as good as expected. They are not in their best form and perhaps this is the effect of the excessive title celebrations some time ago. Many Manchester City players including De Bruyne were unable to do much, this looked different even though Manchester City dominated the match.

I regret that Haaland failed to score, as did Alvarez when both of them really had a chance. Doku was a good player in this match, but Manchester City failed to get their second goal to force Manchester United into extra time. I have to appreciate Manchester United's defense, it was really good defense for a team that has just won its 13th FA Cup title.
