A superb shot from Doku to give City their first goal on the 87th minutes to put City back into the match. Is it too late or too early for City in this game to equalize the goal. Will Manchester united player waste this great opportunity for them to win the FA cup today. It is good if they can defend the goal till the end of the match.

There is nothing more worthy of hope now than Manchester United's sweet victory in the FA Cup final. The defense looked good from the first half, Garnacho and Mainoo were also good at taking advantage of goal opportunities. I was optimistic to see a title celebration for Manchester United soon, but Doku has put pressure on Manchester United with his 1 goal.

I don't think Manchester City will force Manchester United to concede a second goal, but the pressure on the defense is increasing. The defense must be careful and avoid mistakes in the final minutes, otherwise Manchester City may score their second goal.

Manchester United played quite well in this final match, even though Ten Hag will succeed in bringing Manchester United to win the FA title, of course Ten Hag may still have to be replaced because it makes Manchester United not really in a good condition in the EPL this season, this victory must be celebrated and everyone Manchester United supporters are certainly happy with this result because they have had bad results in the league so consoling themselves with this FA Cup can cure all their disappointment.

I know that Manchester City is not in a good condition even though they are playing with their key players but it is not producing results, I also don't want to be too quick to predict that Manchester United will win and win this FA title, but they have that chance and they shouldn't Skip it as long as you don't play defensively at the end of the match because it's possible that Manchester City will continue to attack and score goals. The safe way is that Manchester United must score more goals to be calm until the end of the match and postpone any celebrations until the match is over.  

Ten Hag's job can't be saved by any means. But what's wrong with Man City? Maybe they partied too hard after winning the Premier League. Still, we can expect City to turn things around. who knows it's Pep who wants to make this final epic, letting Man United score 2 goals before planning a comeback in the second half!
Hopefully, Ten Hag doesn't come back with a defensive approach in the second half. If Man United wins the FA Cup, they'll get to play in the Europa League next season. I'm optimistic that Manchester United can win this title.

I agreed with you that it will be very difficult for Manchester City to overcome the two-goal.Manchester United will undoubtedly employ a very cautious and strategic approach to ensure they defend their goals until the final whistle. Even if Manchester City manages to score a goal, it is unlikely they will score more than one. Despite Manchester City controlling the match and dominating possession, they have not been able to create as many clear chances as Manchester United.

Man United were able to take a 2 goal lead just before halftime, the Man City defense looks like a total shambles when caught on the break, I really don't think they'll be able to bounce back from this deficit, which would give Man United a life line in Europe next season, and Erik Ten Haag would at least be ending his tenure as Manchester United coach with a silverware.

Man United were still offered at 1.5+ Odds to win the match, I pounced on it, along with Atletico Madrid who are also a goal up against Real Sociedad, then Juventus to win against Monza later on today, for combined for a total of 3.5+ Odds.

Manchester United have proven themselves self this was the last performance i expected from Manchester United to have scored two goals in the first half and left Manchester City clueless because from the way they were playing much pressure was coming from the side of Manchester United. Manchester City only had one shot on target and that is unlike them even with Manchester City using their full squad am still surprised at the condition Manchester City is playing in. but the problem is if Manchester united should mistakenly allow Manchester city to score that is were united will start having problem, because city will have a step to put there foot on and Manchester city should not be given   such opportunity.

And Manchester united have to keep the defense save because they know the condition of there goalkeeper and i see fans of Manchester united are happy but there is still time so they should came down the league is not yet over there celebration should be after the conclusion of the game.

I just woke up from sleep and saw that United is leading the game with two goals to nothing. From the little that I have watched the match, it seems that Manchester united is prepared for this match and they are playing pretty good. Haaland just missed a beautiful opportunity, as the ball hits the goal post and bounce out. Man City have lost some good opportunities in the first half and I hope that they will be able to out themselves back into the match. I don't think that the match will end in the favor of United.

Ten Hag's job won't be saved. Win or no, he's going to be dropped as the coach and for Man City, you won't blame them considering they just won the league title six days back and it's normal that with all the partying and merry making, it will affect their performance but I still expected they will  maintain their dominance as they are known for but they just allowed Man UTD take advantage, making costly mistakes that caused the first goal.
 Man UTD are the underdogs in this game and it seems they are usually favored in these FA cup tournaments and honestly it will do them a world of good if they can triple their lead in this second half and also don't relent in their pressure as it will be a form of consolation for them if they can carry this title being that they didn't qualify for any European competition.

If the first half closed with Manchester United leading by 1 goal, maybe Manchester City could still catch up in the second half, but because Manchester United leads by 2 goals, I think it will be very difficult for Manchester City to catch up. Honestly, I didn't follow the match from the start but the results in the first half surprised me, even more surprised after looking at the statistics, Manchester United really made this derby a chaotic derby for Manchester City.

Ten Hag might survive if Manchester United win FA Cup, it just really not expected Manchester United can leading for 2 goals with new formation.

But, as we know Manchester City is a team that can score a lot goals, so leading 2 goals is still not yet secure especially Manchester United doesn't have good defenses.

this is what's expected in a finals. You don't underate any team that gets to the finals regardless of thier initial lapses. Manchester City were too relaxed in Thier earlier start. Expecting to play through the United side easily and score easy goals but unexpected to so many city fans the reverse was the case in this first half play.

Another issue which pep would have to address in the dressing room is the lack of control and composure from there players. Almost all of them seames to be missing lots lo chances to Manchester United. The first goal could have been easily avoided if there heads were up but poor communication between the goal keeper and the defended resulted in a cheap goal that was scored by ganacho. I guess the result we've seen in this first half is a good one that would make the second half very Interesting and if Manchester City feels that they deserve the FA cup title, they should go for it and prove it in the second half. From the performance of Manchester United in playing w strong defense at the start of the match, you won't expected anything less than that in the second half. They would want to defend their lead with all they've got and that's actually the best decision they have left cause if they are able to effectively defend this Match till the end, it's a Manchester United night we will have here.

There seems to be something wrong with your eyes. I'm not saying Man United doesn't have a chance, but their opportunity is not great. However, because they can bring back players who have just recovered from injury in this match, I emphasize that Man United could make a surprise. For now, it looks like the surprise has happened because Man United unexpectedly took a 2-0 lead over Man City.

Seems unbelievable with Manchester United success leading awhile over 2-0 against Manchester City in the final of FA Cup match, ball possession Manchester City dominance over 75% with Manchester United only controlling 25% on first half match but most effective with three shots on target scoring two goals.
Its not problem for Manchester United indeed not controlling ball possession but more accuracy make attempt on the first half match, left 45 minutes later with Manchester United possibility will win the FA Cup trophy in this season after having poor performance in Premier League match?

Manchester City have managed to handle manage the game quite well in this first half, tried not to commit any major error on the backline in being more defensive, allowing Manchester City to have much of the ball but, attacking them on a break, forcing the Manchester City defense to make a mistake, get into position in those pocket of spaces and just placing the ball in the net. Manchester City pushed a little in the beginning, there was a suspicious penalty on Haaland but was not checked by VAR then Manchester United counted on counter attacks and almost scored then they were able to score 2 goals between the 30th and 39th minute!
It is early to say anything since Manchester United could collapse at any moment but Guardiola should not let this trophy go away from them today..

Manchester United managed to lead 2-0 in the first half, did anyone expect this to be the score that would be seen in the first half? I'm sure not except for Manchester United fans and bettors who tried something unusual by betting on the unseeded team to win in the first half.
So far, Manchester United's defense has been quite disciplined in guarding the goal and their counter-attacks have been effective because they managed to score goals from quick counter-attacks.
The second half will certainly go differently, hopefully United will play with high discipline so that the final result is not the opposite because that might happen because Manchester City usually play better in the second half and when they are behind, but what United are doing now is completely unexpected, but it doesn't seem like it will change that Ten Haag won't be at United next season.
