Arsenal supporters, the players and even the manager will be facing pressure at this point. Last night’s performance was a total mess and the fans are so ashamed to give excuses for the poor performances, it is unbelievable that Manchester United were a man down at 60 minutes and Arsenal failed to win, it was a terrible performance. Arsenal need to strengthen our attack, get rid of Martinelli, find a suitable replacement for Bukayo Saka and sign a centre attacker.

Well, I think Arsenal fans are just overreacting. Although, it's been a difficult and disappointing run for Arsenal recently but people failed to realise that they have played three tough fixtures back to back this week. They played Brighton away Newcastle and Manchester United at home without much interval and break for them to rest.

I know it was really a disappointment for them to lost on penalty but we should consider circumstances too. I agree with you on the issue of getting new striker thou. Arsenal desperately need to have a new striker but we also have to admit that this is how they've been and here they are today. They are still second on the EPL table and still playing champions league.
We know Arsenal faced three top teams in a closed space of days but analysing this games you would see that Arsenal had huge advantages in this games but could not capitalize on them because their attack was not competent and clinical enough to get the goals. Against Newcastle, Arsenal dominated the game in both halves both were not creative enough to get back even a goal to reduce the goal deficit, Against United when United were down to 10 men Arsenal had advantage but couldn’t get one more goal to kill the game in 30 minutes plus additional 30 in extra time time so what are we saying?

Manchester United are an FA Cup club. People must have realized it already.  Smiley  This is why I picked them in BSFL also. They are the last champions and they are regularly qualifying for the finale too in the recent seasons. They somehow do a good job here despite their weaknesses.

I'm writing it here. They are once again the biggest candidate for the FA Cup title.  Wink  I don't think it's an exaggeration considering their latest achievements. It would be a good start for Amorim also if they do it. Because his job is really intense there. He doesn't have the kind of a squad he would like. Honestly I also find their squad quite inadequate. Not a good one for a coach who adopts a formation with 3 defenders. They need better offense players above all else.
If Manchester United are able to win something this season it will be really good for them especially for raising their believes in the manager and his tactics and a morale booster for the coming season. I don’t think it is impossible already they have a good record in the competition so like you said they have a good chance going for it, it will also be a good start for Amorim to win a major trophies in his first season in the club.
At this moment, Manchester United's coach is already receiving the highest boost he can get and I am sure they're going to finish well this season Amorim is one very smart guy and I am sure that he has learned a lot of lessons from Manchester United previous conditions and how there got to that level and at that, he will be willing to sacrifice his pride to work with all the players and having the interest of the club in mind instead of playing politics with players lineups like the previous coach did that ended Manchester United in the pothole before recovering now under Amorim.

Already when it comes to FA Cup Manchester united are always able and capable of doing the needful, And their records is always there for Tham. Despite their poor performance in the premier league but they always played serious game in the FA Cup. However, just like as you mentioned, I think they stand in a better chance of lifting the trophy this season. Because considering their present performance against Arsenal with red card, I'm pretty sure that Manchester united will going to win Leicester city in this fourth round.

In my opinion, all top clubs definitely want to win as many awards as possible and not just about business and I think Arsenal management also definitely expects that, well if Arsenal can win the title, wouldn't that be even better for their reputation and also their business and if the club has many achievements Arsenal will have a bigger name if they only care about business they should have sold many of their quality players but in reality Arsenal still retains its potential players, it shows that he wants the target that he must achieve, it's just that the competition in the Premier League is very tight and to be able to win the title is not easy but I also don't think that Arteta will be fired just because he hasn't been able to give the title because so far Arsenal has played well, it just takes time to be able to give the title.
If I'm not mistaken, it's been six seasons since Arteta took charge of Arsenal, but until now Arteta has not been able to present the expected trophy. Therefore, it makes sense if some Arsenal fans hope that Arteta will be fired, even though the new manager will not necessarily be able to present a trophy. While, the management and club officials still seem to have great confidence in Arteta abilities, but one thing is for sure, their patience certainly has limits. Most recently Arsenal were eliminated in the FA Cup, personally I also doubt Arsenal will be successful in the Premier League and Champions League in this season. With the budget that has been spent to build squad depth, Arsenal clearly wants success every season.

This is the one of the worst performances I have witnessed from Arsenal in the last three seasons, last night Arsenal’s attack was so blunt that even after Manchester United went down to 10 men, Arsenal couldn’t take advantage of it. What annoys me is that it always have to be defenders stepping up for the team and the same was the case last night so if Gabriel didn’t score Arsenal  wouldn’t get a goal. Very disappointing performance from Arsenal.
The defeat from Manchester United in my opinion adds to the series of worst defeats suffered by Arsenal this season, even in my opinion Arteta should start looking for solutions if he really wants to keep getting support from fans, the deadlock from their attacking line is clearly visible in the last few matches like you said if goals they created came from defensive players,  But reportedly at this time, Arsenal began to approach Zubimendi from Sociedad to improve the quality of their squad, in my opinion bringing in players who can increase creativity in center line, of course important but without a qualified striker of course it will only be in vain and Arteta should realise the current shortcomings of his team, namely the absence of a qualified central striker.

Well Arsenal is trying there best but there best is not good enough, they are never consistent and that is what is affecting them a lot, they always don't make good use of there opportunity, in the game they played with Manchester United who where already one man down with red card and couldn't win show's that they really need to work on there self, they have a very good coach and he has been doing very well that means coach is not there problem, but he should look for a solution so his team can always remain consistent in game's.
You are right Palakka, arsenal needs a very good striker who will be given them goals and to get a good striker that will give them this, they need to search very well, when Victor osime was on the market they tried to purchase him but there money was small, if they had bought Victor osime I don't think there situation would have been like this because victor would have given them what they really wanted which is goals, arsenal needs a striker that will always be consistent in scoring goals.
Arsenal defense is okay, they have been trying there best to prevent goals from entering all they need is a striker and it is high time the management look into it.

Sorry but I don’t think I totally agree with you on this, of course arsenal played poorly and it cost them the match but saying it the poorest you’ve seen them played this season is not something I agreed on. Harvertz had 3 open goal chances to score but didn’t, Declan rice coming from the bench also had 3 good chances to score but also failed to convert, Martin odegaard also had a chance from the penalty spot to score but also failed to score. The absence of bukayo saka is been felt in arsenal recent game, they are creating the chances but scoring have been a big problem for arsenal since he got injured.

Arsenal squad dept is very bad, they lack a good 21 man squad and they why they are always struggling every season. Overall I think parting ways with Mikel Arteta will Favour both parties. So far I would say Mikel Arteta is not good enough.
What you say is true, if currently the mentality and depth of the squad is actually the main problem, so arsenal should be able to be more active in the transfer market and look for players who are needed for can improve their performance, the attack line, especially the centre forward should be arteta main focus rather than they strengthen the lines that are already strong at this time, but the change of coach, I don't think it's something that can solve arsenal current problems, because indeed with the limitations of the existing squad of course whoever the coach will be difficult to raise arsenal performance.

Are you really sure that deep down in the mind of Arsenal management, they want to win trophies. I doubt that, because the last time I checked during Arsen Wenger's reign, it was all business. Don't be surprised that they're still into the business game. After all, football currently is all about making money. It's Arsenal fans that are tasty for trophy and not the management, which means that Arteta will not be sacked because he is always in UCL.

Its been a very hard past few days for Arsenal, from losing to Newcastle in the first leg of the league cup and now getting knocked out of the FA cup by a ten man Manchester United team.
The FA cup is probably the oldest cup in top flight football and it comes with great prestige and respect, I believe that Arsenal wouldn't mind adding the FA cup to their trophy cabinet.
I would not take anything away from Manchester United today as they held up their own strongly against Arsenal and yes luck was on their side but they played their own part.
Arsenal supporters, the players and even the manager will be facing pressure at this point. Either Manchester United played well in this match, or Arsenal played badly. But of course this result was unexpected, in this match Arsenal just wasted the opportunities they got. They were only able to score one goal and that was when Manchester United was already playing with 10 men.

On the other hand I have to apologize to Manchester United's goalkeeper, A Bayindir played well under the crossbar, even better than the previous goalkeeper A. Onana. And after his brilliant performance, I am sure he will be Manchester United's main goalkeeper in the next matches.

If Altay had been given the chance given to Onana, I don't think Manu would be in this situation, but Onana will be in goal again in the league match.
Managers played Altay in cup matches such as the League Cup or FA Cup.
Altay left their mark on the match yesterday. Manu was down to 10 men but advanced to the next round after a penalty shootout, and Altay contributed greatly to this.
Even though he sometimes does stupid things, Altay is 2-3 times better goalkeeper than Onana.

Arsenal missed lots of chances, I'm still very surprised of how Altay Bayındır managed to save Martin Ødegaard's penalty kick, he was so sharp, that was a big save for someone who had a shitty performance in Manchester United's past visit to London, when they played against Tottenham in the Caraboa Cup, it's shows that he's received some good goalkeeping drillins after that very poor performance against Tottenham. Well, asides that i think Manchester United players are becoming very good defensively, lots of their players perfomed brilliantly, they didn't give in to Arsenal's attacking pressure. Anyways, nice job Ruben Amorim, i think the player are gradually improving but they also need to work on the attack, i mean they need more better attacking players to help strength that area and help other of their teammates who are still finding difficulties in adapting to the new strategy to improve, well let's see what INEOS would do in this current transfer window. It's funny how this victory against Arsenal brings joy to lots of Manchester United supports, it's a big win though and it means Arsenal might go trophyless again this season.

This is the kind of game I expected from Man United, even though on paper Arsenal were far superior to them and played with 10 men from the 61st minute, they managed to hold Arsenal to a draw in normal time. Amorim was the first person to be happy after his team qualified for the last 32 of the FA Cup after eliminating Arsenal through a penalty shootout.
Altay really showed his class as Man United last wall, Onana must be more vigilant because Altay good performance in the game could make him get trust from Amorim in other games.

Frankly, I am very happy that Man United was the winner and they really deserved the win. How could it not be, even though they were only playing with 10 men but they were able to get a win against 12 men. No VAR in the FA Cup third round really becomes a tool for referees to benefit one of the teams but Man United really proved that they can destroy that rotten system.

Altay was seen to be the hero on this 10-man Manchester United game. Thanks for saving the penalties in normal time. With this game, it proved that even you are missing some athletes in your team, you can still have the chance to win the game.
Altay waited a long time on the bench for such an opportunity. It should have been a match like this, he could show himself, this match could be a turning point for him. Altay took good risks where necessary and Manchester United protected their goal well, moreover, he also took the penalty kick. Manchester United saw a red card, but Arsenal couldn't do much, it was a really bad match for Arsenal.

I think it time arsenal consider parting ways with Mikel Arteta, arsenal are now probably 80% ending this season without a trophy. After getting kicked out of the FA cup today by 10 men Manchester United and losing in the first leg semi-final of the Corabao cup to Newcastle, I don’t think they are favorite in winning the champions league and premier league this season. It 7 years now and Mikel Arteta is yet to win a major trophy for the gunners. Since his coming they have spent over 700million on signing players and their is not to show for it.

Arsenal have every chance to beat Manchester United today, they had a penalty which they failed to convert, they had over 5 clear chances which they also failed to take. Kai harvertz is costing arsenal a lot and I think it time they consider getting a proper striker. He should have scored a goal or 2 today but he wasted his chances just like he did in their match against Newcastle in semi final.

Thank goodness I have seen someone that finally agrees with me for arsenal to sack Mikel Arteta.  If Arsenal wants to progress they should definitely sack Mikel arterta and bring in a serious minded coach that is hungry for success and titles. It's clearly that Mikel arteta lacka is just comfortable with his condition at arsenal which is not good. How can a team such as Arsenal with the quality of players they have in the squad still can be able to win a major trophy for the past six seasons?

Under normal circumstances Arsenal should have won this game but they couldn't score the second goal. Even a penalty didn't help, Odegaard missed. The hero of the day was United's goalkeeper Altay. He made the most of the opportunity he was given.
it was a tough match though, recently I don't like games ending in penalty because it give me high blood pressure to watch but both Manchester and arsenal did really did a good job. But Altay saving that spot kick from Odegaard in normal time and the shoot-out by Havertz was epic. But i believe this FA up was meant for Manchester United if not Arsenal would have won it. I mean they both all did their best but luck shone more on Manchester United even though they had a rough match.

This is sports and for sure, we have seen a lot of resilience already in every game. It is like with such situation like this, we can obtain such inspiration to do great despite of the odds presented.

If you watched the game you would have expected a red card to be shown in the game ofcourse and it came at the right time when Arsenal were a goal down and 60minutes into the game with 30’ to go. It is so embarrassing that Arteta and his men were unable to capitalize on this advantage and failed to kill the game even after extra time. Disappointing result in the end for the Gunners.

I think that red card had two effect on Manchester united because sometimes all it takes for a team to play with their full spirit is a red card knowing fully well that they are now disadvantage in the game and anything is possible if they allowed gunners the opportunity to hit them.

Personally I felt that Manchester united deserve the victory cause they played with their the will power that they really wanted the win and also a big credit to the goal keeper for being extraordinary that night.

I never thought that Manchester United would be a tough opponent for Arsenal. The draw that Manchester United got when facing Liverpool really motivated the Manchester United players to play better, and that was proven when facing Arsenal.

In this match, I saw Arsenal getting quite a lot of chances to score goals, but your back line appeared quite solid, plus A. Bayindir was also able to guard his goal well. And the red card that Diogo Dalot got, I think was the only reason why your goal could be replied to, and if Man United played with a complete composition until the end of the match, maybe they could win the match without having to go through extra time. But whatever the scenario, Man United performed well in this match.
