Thank goodness I have seen someone that finally agrees with me for arsenal to sack Mikel Arteta. If Arsenal wants to progress they should definitely sack Mikel arterta and bring in a serious minded coach that is hungry for success and titles. It's clearly that Mikel arteta lacka is just comfortable with his condition at arsenal which is not good. How can a team such as Arsenal with the quality of players they have in the squad still can be able to win a major trophy for the past six seasons?

it was a tough match though, recently I don't like games ending in penalty because it give me high blood pressure to watch but both Manchester and arsenal did really did a good job. But Altay saving that spot kick from Odegaard in normal time and the shoot-out by Havertz was epic. But i believe this FA up was meant for Manchester United if not Arsenal would have won it. I mean they both all did their best but luck shone more on Manchester United even though they had a rough match.

This is sports and for sure, we have seen a lot of resilience already in every game. It is like with such situation like this, we can obtain such inspiration to do great despite of the odds presented.

Under normal circumstances Arsenal should have won this game but they couldn't score the second goal. Even a penalty didn't help, Odegaard missed. The hero of the day was United's goalkeeper Altay. He made the most of the opportunity he was given.
Suddenly the whole media was talking about Altay Bayındır. Last season he played only one cup game, this season he has played 4 cup games. In these days when Onana is being criticized, maybe he will get a chance to play in goal in the league too.

I think that red card had two effect on Manchester united because sometimes all it takes for a team to play with their full spirit is a red card knowing fully well that they are now disadvantage in the game and anything is possible if they allowed gunners the opportunity to hit them.

Personally I felt that Manchester united deserve the victory cause they played with their the will power that they really wanted the win and also a big credit to the goal keeper for being extraordinary that night.

I never thought that Manchester United would be a tough opponent for Arsenal. The draw that Manchester United got when facing Liverpool really motivated the Manchester United players to play better, and that was proven when facing Arsenal.

In this match, I saw Arsenal getting quite a lot of chances to score goals, but your back line appeared quite solid, plus A. Bayindir was also able to guard his goal well. And the red card that Diogo Dalot got, I think was the only reason why your goal could be replied to, and if Man United played with a complete composition until the end of the match, maybe they could win the match without having to go through extra time. But whatever the scenario, Man United performed well in this match.

Manchester United are an FA Cup club. People must have realized it already.

This is why I picked them in BSFL also. They are the last champions and they are regularly qualifying for the finale too in the recent seasons. They somehow do a good job here despite their weaknesses.

I'm writing it here. They are once again the biggest candidate for the FA Cup title. Wink

I don't think it's an exaggeration considering their latest achievements. It would be a good start for Amorim also if they do it. Because his job is really intense there. He doesn't have the kind of a squad he would like. Honestly I also find their squad quite inadequate. Not a good one for a coach who adopts a formation with 3 defenders. They need better offense players above all else.

Wat a brilliant performance from Altay Bayındır.

He was my best player in that game yesterday apart from saving Odegaard's and Kai Havertz's penalty during the penalty shot out Altay Bayındıre also made some several saves that game Manchester United victory over Arsenal yesterday indeed Manchester United performance was brilliant as they were able to withstand the pressure till full time and also went to extra time after playing with 10 men against 11 for about 1 hour without Arsenal defeating them.

With Altay Bayındır performance yesterday I believe it will difficult for Manchester United couch to play Andre Onana because I see more confidence in Altay Bayındır than Andre Onana.

I believe Manchester United will put all strength in this FA cup to see if they can be champion because they have no hope of winning the English premier league tittle and I don't still think they will be amongst the top 4 team in the English league this season.

Amorim will slowly pick up the wreckage he inherited from Erik ten Hag. He could be a second Alex Ferguson. Altay put in a great performance against Arsenal and single-handedly took his team to the next round after a dramatic game. Hopefully Altay will cement his place in the team. Amorim now has an excuse to give Altay a chance in league games and Altay really needed such a game.

I think Amorim doesn't like Onana but Altay was a question mark for him. The Arsenal game was very good for him to see Altay. Because Altay played a faultless game and showed a great top class performance in every aspect. I wish he can repeat this performance more often by shortening his fluctuation interval. He is 26 years old and I think he has a lot of room for improvement. I hope his goalkeeping luck will be with him throughout his career.

What we saw yesterday said it was not about the noise and the most favorites of them, Arsenal were up with everyone believing they have the pass to secure the final victory. It came as a surprise that they were unable to accomplish, red carded United still were able to keep up the play until extra time elapse and penalties decided the outcome. The faith of many Arsenal fans were slashed, i watched comments from fans and even in other competitions left, they are now disturbed if they have a place among the top tiers.

I commend Arteta to rebuild his squad, the forwarders are not impressive, their is complete disadvantages if he has to go all season with same players, the corner kicks and all isn't looking efficient to keep them at the top even ahead of Nottm Forest in the PL league.

All English league teams managed to win over their opponents in the FA, but I think we can not say if arsenal is a small team after the defeat because if you look at the FA schedule this week, isn't just arsenal who facing equal opponents who also play from the premier league?
While other teams that qualify for the next round only face teams that play in division 1, 2, 3 and even division 4 of the English league, you say if arsenal is a small team after losing from manchester united in the match, I think the opposite maybe you will also say if manchester united is a small team if they lose in the match because this week the small teams in FA get lost? He made the most of the opportunity Manchester United gave him. He must have been even more ambitious when he thought about the Dutch coach’s lack of trust in Altay in the past. And even though they were able to hold them in the extra time, which I thought they would use the advantage of the Red card an win the game. but Manchester united was able to proved them wrong and took the lead in the penalty kicked, what a great achievement for Manchester united.
