Where do I start... Manchester United are really different in the FA Cup.
No matter how bad they have been in the Premier League, they have been successful in the FA Cup at the same time for a few years.
Today I expected them to show resistance against Arsenal. Yeah even at Emirates.
They really did it and I must admit that I really liked Altay Bayindir's performance. He saved 2 critical penalties for his team to eliminate Arsenal.
I think the last champions Manchester United can play in the finale at least. If they win another trophy it wouldn't surprise me as well. They have a new manager but this still doesn't change anything for them in the FA Cup as it seems.
Manchester United has always performed well in the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup; we witnessed how they defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup final last season, and they also eliminated Liverpool in the semifinals, and I am sure they can do it again this season. Altay Bayindir was Manchester United's hero, making two important saves that led to their victory, if Arsenal's attackers had pushed more, they could have scored more goals.
Manchester United advanced to the next round by defeating Arsenal in a penalty shootout despite playing with ten men. Arsenal, on the other hand, continues to disappoint their fans year after year. They lost their chance to qualify for the Carabao Cup after conceding two goals against Newcastle in the first leg, they were eliminated by Manchester United in the FA Cup yesterday, and they are not in a run for the Premier League title this season.
